Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Should we sell Bounty rewards?
« on: February 27, 2021, 03:51:28 AM »
In my opinion, you need to sell more or less of the rewards of the received coins at current prices if they are listed on the exchanges, and the remaining Hodl tokens are suddenly lucky. And yes, now, due to the gas price, there is a forced Hodl.

I agree with you on this, I believe for me you can sell most of your bounty rewards unless you totally have a believe after good analysis of the project, then you might HODL those for better gains because we have seen many bounties which after distribution never made a good price in the future even went down more in price. So with regards to the current gas fee  :D i guess some people might be force to hodl for a while.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Nigeria crypto ban
« on: February 27, 2021, 03:38:51 AM »
Why did Central Bank of Nigeria have to block all account related to cryptocurrency in Nigeria!!!  And what do you think will be the alternative which can be use for depositing and withdrawal.

That don't really affect whether cryptocurrency trading will slow down because I believe it wont regardless of CBNs/the Government's position because before the announcement, crypto traders where already involve in P2P trading in a lot of different crypto exchanges by choice only this time. that P2P seems to be the only means of withdrawing cash to you account which is still fine but just a but slower.

I hope they the Government will have a change of heart soonest as the Vice president put out this tweet yesterday and I believe most of them understands what crypto does for the youths but just want to clamp it down as a means to punish them hence they give all those useless negative excuses about cryptocurrency

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Crypto Trading - Long term Vs Day trading
« on: February 26, 2021, 10:37:43 AM »
Investing in the right coins at the right time will make the investment more likely to go in vain. Choosing the right coin for the right time is not a difficult task for any investor. However, investing in the middle of nowhere is likely to be a loss. The initial capital of the investment cannot be found. So I think the authority must be careful. You need to keep an eye on the different coins in the market to keep your investment safe.

I don't understand? Is it not to Invest in the right Coin at the right time that makes your investment Safe? I believe investors would be advised naturally to Invest in the right kind of project at the right time to make MOST out of their investment.

Example, you can Invest on the right Coin say BitCoin for instance but at the wrong time during or just after the ATH, this will make you wait for years to regain your Finance back since the price is going down but if you Invested at the right time when the price was lower before it hit ATH, you can make the gains from it when it further move upward and hit a new ATH meaning, if you Invested in the right Coin at the Right time you will make Gains and investments not likely to go in vain.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: Bitcoin price!!!
« on: February 26, 2021, 03:39:42 AM »
Bitcoin price have been increasing rapidly for the last few months, from my experience I believe bitcoin will still pump more!!!
What do you think about bitcoin price should we expect more pump or dump.

As you can see from the insect pics. The price trend of bitcon is in the down ward slop sine 21 February 2021 which means there is definitely a correction happening but I don't think we are in the bear circle yet

But it will be wise for investors to have a confirmation before jumping back in except for margin traders of cause.

In other words "don't buy if you don't understand." None sense to buy or even hold the tokens if the person don't understand what he is doing. Hodl is not about impatience rather enough patience is necessary to bear the market condition thinking about the future gem is in at hands. Hodl for moon or hodl for doom.  ;)
For those people who do not have enough knowledge and experience, it is best to try investing in higher-rated cryptocurrencies and thereby reducing the risks of losing their funds. This will make you more confident in your actions. I believe that everyone started with something and had no experience at all.

True, and I believe apart from Investing in Higher rated cryptos I believe the key word is Patience. Investors need to have a bit or more patience once you have confirmed you invested in a good project and that it will only take a bit of time for that profit to show. So for me it is Patience.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What are your major fears this season ?
« on: February 26, 2021, 02:53:35 AM »
Fear will always remain in everyone, it cannot be lost because everyone has a different level of patience, fear will disappear when we reach the goal and get the benefits of trading.
If the goal has not been achieved then one needs to be a little patient and wait for that profit to come by choosing a good coin to trade.

Regardless of Patience, there will always be fear as no crypto investors wants to loss any money even if there have made and taken profits, you still don't want to loss anything.  because we always want to win it all. So until you believe that you cannot win it all and once you make some profits you are good, then traders would relax more and not be overly exited.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Still holding your bounty tokens?
« on: February 26, 2021, 02:46:16 AM »
In 2018 and the beginning of 2019 I spent a lot of time in crypto bounty hunting.
Got a lot of tokens for it as you can see it here:

So about 130, more or less.
On the picture you can also see that more than 500 days have passed since I was active as a bounty hunter. AEN token was somehow very late, unexpected, not important.

There were about 20 other bounties where the tokens are in the trx, xlm or other wallets. And they are still there :D
Yes, I was very active. I also invested in 4 ICOs, not a lot of money, but all 4 are on the crypto exchange. Not very successful, but there is still time.

And there are now 126 tokens, worth around $500. To transfer the tokens to the exchange would cost me as much as they are worth ;D
Some could possibly increase their value considerably, but until then and until Ethereum 2.0 the tokens will remain on MEW.

What do you do with your bounty tokens?

I did participate in some bounties too back then 2017/18 and have some tokens still stock in my MEW wallet and other wallets mainly because most of the projects are kinda dead or not really worth the fee to transfer to an exchange that is if there where listed at all  ;D ;D ;D I have some that are even in exchange like BNC which is still in HOTBIT exchange but really no sales volume. Well, some day maybe some thing can still happen to some of them.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Another bear?
« on: February 26, 2021, 02:36:45 AM »
Hello guys, the cryptocurrency world have witnessed an upturn in fortune in the last one month or so, turning a market cap of 2 trillion USD. Now suddenly we are witnessing red candles, giant long ones. What's going on? Is it a massive correction or are the dreaded bears upon us?

I believe this is inevitable when it comes to cryptocurrency trading since the beginning. If you look at the chart since 21 February when Bitcoin hit ATH $58,640.77 to date it has gone down like -19.6% now trading around $47,409.93. Traders or investors definitely have to take profits and we will see a market correction but I dont think that we are fully in the Bear circle yet BUY CAUTION needs to be taking until otherwise proven.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Sell when the goal is achieved.
« on: February 25, 2021, 04:30:57 AM »
Just sold all of my 0x at $1.77, I couldn't take it any more. When 1000% are reached I sell without flinching. After the correction, I can always buy more. Even if there wasn't a correction, I don't think that the ATH can be reached easily.
When are you selling? Do you also have a price where you can say: until now and no further?
Do you set a stop limit?

p.s. Now is the time to think about it, in my opinion.

Really I believe that was a good move. Don't be overly greedy with profits, then you might just end up losing more than you think. I believe crypto traders should always take profits when the hit some certain percentage level of investment at least your initial capital and some profits too and leave in the rest for continue trading, that is a wise thing to consider.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Don't HODL if you don't understand
« on: February 25, 2021, 04:24:21 AM »
The word "hodl" in crypto space is what we always heard and read from folks and I believe bunch of individuals are saying this even they don't understand and those with the same feathers were coming to join this blinded community. I'm saying this because I'd been there men, and guess what, my $1,5k had join the bearish and did not recover. I let my money burned to nothing.

Here is my advice, don't listen to those who are saying "hodl" if you don't understand and don't let your ignorance produces greediness which will become your greatest regret in the end.

Here is the thing, if you don't understand the market sell your crypto if you just get it from airdrop or bounty. Never mind the bushers, a project can survive if it is promising and if not at least you didn't let your luck ended up to nothing and besides participants in bounties and airdrops are not always to blame. If you are new in crypto investment don't expect to much rather, trade your crypto if profit is already there. Don't believe your instinct because that is not the right way in the market but your knowledge and understanding of market condition. Your instinct might reward your first attempt but but that is just a blind luck so stop using your instinct in a wrong place.

If you are new and truly serious to hodl some cryptos for long term. I advice to risk your money when the market is in the crisis condition. Yet you have to be wise in choosing and make the top ten cryptos in the coinmarketcap your choices. Bitcoin and ethereum should be your priority.

I believe that is the key suggestion there. It si not about HODLing but what cryptocurrency are you HODLing? if after you bought and the price started going down and you understands that the crypto you invested on has been crypto market tested Like BTC, ETH and some other coins, then you shouldn't be scare of losing your investments rather it should be a matter of how long it will take for the market to reverse.

You posted this in Dec 2020 and if you have invested in any of the top 100 coins and held it till now I don't believe you would have posted this thread so you see, once you know what you invested in and have the will to follow through, you are good.

I got to know Ethereum when it was 400$ and I regret not having done it sooner. Because this coin is very promising, which can really bring profit in the future.

I got into crypto back in 2017 and though missed some serious profits i would have collected and had some regrets there but now I understand their should be no need for regrets but rather to have the will or faith to hodl your position when things move downwards. If any one bought ETh or BTH at ATH back in 2017 and was able to hodl ti now, I believe there would be no regrets there so to me it is the will or ability to HODL cos you believe in what you invested in.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Does crypto support ROI investment?
« on: February 25, 2021, 04:03:20 AM »
There are many people that really want to invest in cryptocurrency through the means of return on investment but I have not seen any crypto insttutions that's been establish for the purpose of return on investment or can one invest on the crypto market through the crypto exchange, please share your opinion if you have any idea any crypto insttution offering Roi for people that don't have time to trade because of their work schedule?
You don't need to join any crypto institutions,  you just need to Buy and Hold. At the end ROI will come to you

Exactly, I believe we are over interpreting what ROI is and just like you have explained, once you make and investment in a crypto project in this regard, it is the profit you make on that investment but mostly I believe people use this to calculate what percentage of interest they could make if they invested some certain amount on a project over a particular time in relation to the cost of investment. So to me in crypto trading space. So even in crypto, once you buy and hold over a period of time and sell later with profit you can also calculate your ROI as such without giving someone your fund to invest for you and give you some percentage after some time.
