Yes, we heard every now and then hodl but it does not suit everyone because impatient holders or traders don't understand how actually can help hodl. One more thing I would like to clear here Hodl only helpful when you hold the good potential coins if you hold shit coins there will be no benefit of holding you can end up in a loss. Even in planning to hold, you must set your target of exit otherwise you can be a victim of greed in the end.

I think all new people in cryptocurrency will eventually understand how best to invest, how to trade and how to hold.  It all comes with experience.

I am usually a born hodler. My instinct is usually to hkeep my bags, because as a bounty hunter, I usually have many of them. Some projects you think you understand that have a future sometimes flip belly up and die gradually, and you end up holding the bag. So its not a hard and fast rule

Same here but in my own experience dont ever hold if its in bear market or you will get rekt Im a victim of this hodl I have few tokens last 2017 and hodl until mid 2018 and when the time I need money I have no choice but to sell at low price hold only if the market is going to bull season.

It is really useless to hold junk tokens and see them lose value. So it is essential to regularly update information about tokens & projects to decide whether to sell or keep crypto assets. Some decide to sell 50% of tokens when seeing a good price, it is not bad strategy

Clever investors buy and hold at the bear market and sell at the bull market. Otherwise, the loss is inevitable for u guys.

Doge coin just came to my mind and I wonder why some Redditors love that coin as if there life depends on it but only few understand what that coin is all about.
Elon keep shilling and they keep buying, that's pure madness with zero cautious of investing. I don't hold if in don't understand and at the same time, I don't promote when it wouldn't benefit the people.

HODLING is now the most optimal solution.  Since a lot of people are already coming to cryptocurrency - and they will buy everything that is.  Almost everything.  Patience is the key to wealth

Disagree, yes Bitcoin and Ethereum are the king, but remember the king can be replaced. We see the real fact that Bitcoin and Ethereum fail to call Alternative payment, and so many coins prove better than Both.

Maybe was I think Bitcoin and Ethereum is the priority but now BNB is my priority

i am of the opinion thT IF YOU don't understand the crypto space, just buy BTC, ethereum and xrp and hold for as long as you can. you will definitely not regret it. as huge as this market is, i seriously doubt if the price will go down again. the signs are clear the crypto market is undiluted and more funds are pouring inside.

Holding isn't always good idea specially for shitty tokens but for good coins and tokens that have bright future, good team team performance, possibility to list reputed exchanges will be better to hold but it is also dependent on the market situation. Proper understanding for selecting any token or coin for hold is a must.

Being a holder means having endurance, patience and composure. As long-term investment has great risks, especially for new projects, and you cannot know if the project will last long enough to recoup your investment and make a profit, and not go into failure. carefully weigh the pros and cons and a decision is made.

Yes, one should understand what are the benefits and losses of "hodl". I would say it's not like that every time you hold you will earn profit. It purely depends on your holdings we can not expect shit coins will give us good profit in the long-term. Always research about the coin you are holding because you are the only one who can decide what is good for you and do not rely on others' opinions. Only trust your analysis. On the other hand, when the market is bad we should remain patient and should not make haste to sell.

In other words "don't buy if you don't understand." None sense to buy or even hold the tokens if the person don't understand what he is doing. Hodl is not about impatience rather enough patience is necessary to bear the market condition thinking about the future gem is in at hands. Hodl for moon or hodl for doom.
