Hodling shouldn't be a problem especially when you invested in the right coins/Alts. Not all coins are worth Hodling for a long time hoping that they will recover in the future for a bigger gain. I believe that when your intention for investment is for a long term that will entail you hodling for some time, Invest in the right projects that will not fail over time.

This isn't a good time to sell because market is really down, for sure prices will pump but it's just a matter of time, and I guess before the end of this year prices will pump to the moon, so this is actually a good opportunity to invest because surely in time to come it will pay off, so it's better to hodl in this period of time.

Hold and trading will depend entirely on the condition of the market.  I think holding is the smartest thing to do if the market is going up.  But after the market reached its peak this year, Zara held on and they suffered a huge loss.  I ate a big kind of loss by holding myself.

I totally agree with you there. Some investors don't understand that it all depends on the projects you intend to or invested in that will determine the outcome of your Hodl.
So the issue should be about whether you should hodl or not but it should be determined by the coin/token you have invested in.

I really think so its time for holding any coin or token in the market because all the crypto currency in the market are down so if we go for selling we obviously fall in looser so we need to hold at this moment. Honestly, I've been keeping all my crypto since 2017 and it was a mistake. Crypto markets have a cycle of 3-4 years and bullrun only lasts about 12-18 months. After the bullrun comes crypto winter and token price dropping 10 - 1000 times from ATH @@ Hold is a good tactic, but it should only be done if we buy crypto during the winter and hold until the bullrun.

It's better both, because new coins are not always cheap, they can even just take off and leave old coin.
I myself hold old coins and not a few new coins, to keep if the new coins increase quickly
