Fed fund rates remain unchanged
On May 1, 2024, The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) voted unanimously to maintain the target fed funds rate in its current range of 5.25-5.50%, citing ongoing concerns over high inflation. In fact, the US Fed interest rate has remained unchanged since July 2023 and the central bank indicated there will unlikely be a rate hike in the near future. Such continuous has been stirring across global markets and various assets.


How do Fed rates impact investors?
Investors might get overwhelmed every time Fed announces interest rate since it usually comes with market volatility and fluctuation. In this situation, it’s always a good habit to focus on asset allocation.  Before that, investors should have a fully understanding of their current finances, risk tolerance, and investment goals. Currently, high interest rates tend to be a headwind for many investments. Certain holdings are feeling the effects.

- Borrowing costs. High rates lead to higher borrowing costs which can affect the affordability of mortgages, reducing demand for real estate and impacting property values
- Fixed-income investments. Such as bonds and Treasury securities. Newly issued bonds generally offer higher yields. Holding old issued bonds can potentially lead to capital losses.
- Stock market. Particularly growth stocks that highly rely on capital for future business expansion. High rates will impact companies’ stock prices because of the difficulty of obtaining capital and earning.
- Higher yields on savings accounts. In a higher rate environment, banks raise annual percentage yields on savings accounts which benefits savers.

Don't let us regret it in the end because we carelessly chose the airdrop. Don't just because we are looking for free tokens or coins, we actually lose the assets we have in our wallet, that is very detrimental.

In order not to happen badly, as airdrop hunters have to separate between the main wallet and the wallet used for airdrops, it is even mandatory because now many scammers give traps to dApps that are deliberately made to do the drained wallet method.

Not only on Twitter, wherever airdrops originate it needs to be vigilant and don't carelessly connect wallets.

Demo trading or demo accounts not only let you understand the functionalities of a platform or what each button does, but you can use a demo account to practice your trading experience such as reading charts, using indicators to predict the future outcomes of each cryptocurrency, and practicing the strategies that you have learned so that you can use those strategies when you start making real trades.

Ok, I have spend 5 minutes maximum to understand how each and everything works on exchange. I have played with demo account and became an adept of trading, who closes every order with profit. But why when I switch to real trading, everything is different? In short, in demo mode, everything most of the time goes up. This rarely happen IRL. I mean what can I train for a long time, if the best strategy is "buy low sell high" and all I have to do is to wait for price to grow. Demo accounts does not teach patience. Crypto world news and announcements does not influence on demo account. So why then give so much attention to it?

i just watched the Civil War 2024 movie, quite scary if it happens where you are in the middle of the wars of groups you don't wanna join.
there's a scene in the movie where they tried buying gas which when they said they have Canadian Dollar and the group of individuals who ruled that place accepted the money.  it looks like Canadian Dollar is  still sought after. i hoping to see crypto wasn't introduced there but none.

if we are in this kind of situation where the electricity is still on like its normal situation still and internet is accessible, wouldn't it make sense for the warlords to accept BTC and other crypto?

I live in Ukraine, and I know firsthand what war is like. I also have many friends and acquaintances who lived or had to live in the occupied territory or the territory destroyed by terrorist troops of a neighboring country. So I will tell you how it is in reality:
- Few people are interested in risky, illiquid assets. Everyone is interested in dollars, euros, gold, etc. assets that can be used to buy or exchange food, medicine, etc. goods
- The occupation authorities are always totally restricting and controlling all data channels - in occupied DNR, LNR, Crimea - all communication is totally controlled (from wiretapping to blocking data transmission), protocols are blocked (all messengers that are difficult to control are banned). For violation or attempts to bypass - very severe punishment, up to death.
- In destroyed villages and towns, there is no communication at all, and often no electricity.
- Banking systems, card accounts and transactions do not work. You simply will not be able to convert cryptocurrency into physical/fiat assets.

Therefore, in such situations - assets that are difficult to use and do not have high guaranteed liquidity and stable price are unlikely to become a substitute for stable currencies and gold.

YoMix has fallen off a cliff. Once upon a time, they were a good professional mixer. Now though, they have resorted to just scamming their users. Probably so that they don't get seized like Sinbad. Although I don't see how that would change anything since Sinbad was taken down without scamming anyone.

I am very frustrated by the actions that YoMix has done and the fact that they have a very good placement on Google Search and yet still decided to do this.

Even YoMix has become one of the popular signature campaigns since it first appeared and competes with other Mixer platforms.
It is unfortunate when it ends up with various kinds of problems like this, harming its users and not giving any response.

But why didn't Interpol investigate YoMix and the website is still active today, while Sinbad and several other mixers received warnings to stop business.
