true point. Rich people often view gambling as a form of entertainment rather than a financial necessity. When they win, its likely they’ll reinvest in the game, not out of addiction but as a way to extend the fun. For poor gambling might seem like a quick route to wealth. However, if they win, they might choose to stop and secure their gains, aligning with their initial goal of improving their financial situation.
Yeah people have different views towards gambling.
Gambling is often view as a fun activity for the rich, more like going on an expensive night out that actually provides them with the entertainment and thrill they need, or it could be more like going to watch a football match or boxing match, where you have your friends to chat and have fun while you argue the outcome of the game.

This is how rich people often view gambling and for them, and the way they see winning in gambling isn't the way it's seen by the poor gamblers, their view on winning isn't for the winnings to change their financial status but more about extending the fun and feeling of beating the odds.

Which isnt always the case for poor gamblers, because they often view gambling as a way to change their financial situation which can often lead you to even losing more money than anticipated.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: HODLing Altcoins
« Last post by Uruhara on Today at 06:39:18 AM »
Now Altcoin holding is better i think. Bitcoin price is now very high. From here Bitcoin price increase 100%,or 200% is impossible within short time i think. But Altcoin is better for hige profit i think.

So i think it will good hold altcoin. I believe if anyone buy Altcoin and hold it he will be huge profitable for him.So holding Altcoin is better there has no doubt.
If that is the goal for the medium term I agree that currently holding altcoins is more likely to get bigger gains in a short time. We just need to see and analyze which altcoin is the best for us to hold in this bullish market. And we should not make the mistake of holding altcoins that do not have strong fundamentals.

This match was truly the most interesting Derby match this season in Serie A. Milan really fought until the last minute but Inter Milan was always able to overcome every attack made by Milan. And yes, in the end, Inter Milan have now officially become champions of Serie A this season. Even though there are still several matches remaining, the championship title has definitely belonged to Inter Milan. Last season Napoli also celebrated the title early. And now Inter Milan is doing it too. Even though this season Inter Milan failed in the UCL, Inter Milan still won the title in Serie A which is proof that Inter Milan is still in extraordinary form.
Yes indeed, to be honest, this is a very hard and tough job. Indeed, Milan had actually played very well and put up quite a strong resistance. But unfortunately, Inter can still optimize the chance better. So they can lead by 1 goal from Milan. Meanwhile, regarding the number of red cards issued during the match, there was a second red card for Milan, who was nearing the end of the match. So, this derby match is quite tough.

Well, with this, it means that it is clear that Inter will win Serie A. That's for sure. Congratulations to Inter Milan as champions of the Serie A League this season.
It is true that currently Inter Milan has definitely won the title. Because even if Inter Milan loses points in all the remaining matches, it will not change the current standings ranking. I am curious whether Inter Milan will be able to maintain their performance in Serie A next season. or they will end up the same as Napoli. but actually Inter Milan quite often wins Serie A. And I think that Inter Milan can even maintain its performance next season. As long as they still have a great coach like Inzaghi.

News related to Crypto / SEC Delays Approval of Immediate Ethereum ETF

The SEC has postponed its decision on Grayscale's Immediate Ethereum ETF until June 23 amidst careful review of cryptocurrency ETF applications.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has decided to further delay the proposal by Grayscale regarding an Ethereum ETF for immediate trading. The review deadline has been extended to June 23. This delay indicates a setback in the approval process for cryptocurrency-based ETFs in the U.S.

Grayscale submitted Form 19b-4 to NYSE Arca in October to convert its existing Ethereum Trust into an ETH ETF for immediate trading. In January, Grayscale successfully converted its Bitcoin Trust into a Bitcoin ETF for immediate trading.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Anonymity - good or bad?
« Last post by yhiaali3 on Today at 06:25:06 AM »
The issue of privacy and anonymity is a bit complicated. People always want to maintain their privacy and try to hide their identity, especially in the digital world, but in reality the issue has many dimensions.

Most normal people like to hide their identity but scammers try hard to hide their identity to scam people while governments consider everyone who hides their identity in the world of cryptocurrencies to be a scammer.

The problem facing all those who hide their identity is that if you are defrauded, you will not be able to recover your money because you have hidden the necessary data to prove that you own the stolen assets.

In fact, finding the balance between these things is very difficult, so you are either giving up some of your privacy or giving up some of your money if you are exposed to fraud.

Of what importance is the activity score when it's not correct?

I mean, counting from when it got frozen on the 31st of January till now, that's like 3 months and counting, what happened to my Activity on the forum in those 3+ months? - I've been making atleast, 5+ posts everyday on this forum in those 3+ months...

I know that there are no special benefits that comes with high activity score, but then, wouldn't it have made more sense if such data are always correct for all users?

Of course, there is a reason behind it. The rank-up up now tied with many things like your number of karma, how much time you have spent on the forum (like logged-in time on Bitcointalk) and most importantly, the activity count as well. Now, the admin said somewhere that those formulas are hidden because it will help abusers know what to do to rank up faster. Even usual forum members will focus on ranking up quickly.

The Admin kept the formula hidden to prevent focusing on ranking up which is not a bad decision. The forum stopped counting your activity because it may think you haven't spent enough time to get more activity. This is why login time is also another requirement of rank up in this forum.

These type of games always shocks me, I understand getting a win, that part makes sense and I understand it, but getting a 5-0 win? That never really makes sense to me at all because that requires a lot more talent. Same team that lost to Villa just a week or so ago, and basically gave away the title chances as well, that's why I do not really get how the same team that lost to Villa, ended up getting a 5-0 win against a loaded Chelsea team. Don't get me wrong, I am aware that Villa is ahead of Chelsea, but still the difference is not this huge, it was pure terrible display that made them lose against Villa.
Even though I already expected Arsenal to win, I didn't expect that Chelsea wouldn't be able to get even one goal back in that match. This is the problem with clubs that have too many young players. And the Chelsea players don't seem to be mentally ready. Their confidence when playing at home to their opponents is sometimes very difficult to predict. Pochettino must have been very embarrassed by the result of the match. But it will be a lesson for the team to be able to correct the shortcomings that exist in the team. Arteta and his troops are really scary when they play at home. And Chelsea understands that now.

I think that it's mostly the one who has power abuse it and make sure that they are benefitting from it. Whether they have agenda or not, it's mostly because of them having no peace of the pie. Tax is really a factor IMO.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Is staking ETH on Binance risky?
« Last post by emmybd on Today at 06:01:24 AM »
Staking ETH on Binance, like any investment, comes with its own set of risks. Here are some key points to consider:

Slashing: If a validator fails to perform its duties correctly, there’s a risk of slashing, where a portion of the staked ETH could be lost.
Malicious Attacks: Wallet attacks and scams are common in the decentralized space. When staking tokens, there’s a risk associated with dealing with external wallets and platforms.
Technical Requirements: Staking often involves stringent technical requirements that must be met to participate and earn rewards.
Binance Staking attempts to mitigate some of these risks by offering protections such as covering losses that would otherwise be incurred through slashing. However, it’s important to note that not all risks can be eliminated, and staking on Binance does not remove all the risks involved in staking activities.
