Well there are a couple of nice reasons of which some are ;

1. Bitcoin is decentralized ( not controlled by a single entity not even the creator) so it's pretty much you alongside other users who control it.

2. Bitcoin is a nice and private Crypto currency although not entirely because of the Blockchain public ledger. However one could increase his privacy by making use of other privacy measures like mixers and VPNs

3. You are in full control of your asset as you can decide to HODL or spend at any time of your choice without any restrictions.

4. Bitcoin is a perfect counter crypto of inflation meaning you could protect you asset from loss due to inflation via Bitcoin investments.

Bitcoin is the first decentralized crypto currency which was created and launched by a pseudonymous entity "Satoshi NAKAMOTO" in the year 2009. This pretty much the main information.

I believe the idea that Bitcoin mining is a pollution to nature is actually a scheme for Bitcoin critics to try to tarnish the decentralized nature of Bitcoin which won't work. People who make mention of Bitcoin mining polluting the environment forget the fact that there are more dangerous physical mining processes that commence day to day stripping nature of a cleaner environment. In my opinion pollution of the environment is something that came alongside technological advancement and is definitely not a cause of. Bitcoin.

Bitcoin like I always say is the Og of the crypto space. Aside from the fact that Bitcoin has become a suitable asset and an almost outstanding P2P currency, it has also retained it's trail of financial freedom. And definitely yes part of Satoshi NAKAMOTO reason for the creation of Bitcoin was freedom and Bitcoin did achieve the freedom of finance it was created for.

SamReomo I actually went through your post history and discovered you are a nice countributor here so in order to compensate you lost karma I have given you one. You probably had a hater maybe from Bitcoin talk that decided to reduce your karma count.

In my opinion I believe the negative karma should be restricted to certain persons like mods to avoid abuse. This is because even if someone had your karma reduced for no reason, you don't even get to know who did it at least.

A few minutes ago I encountered a little difficulty while I was surfing the forum. Now if you notice , the karma giving buttons  are on the post page and actually take effect immediately it is hit. Due to this I clicked the [+karma] button accidentally and unknowingly to me via my PC cursor. I had already finished reading the post and was about proceeding to another page when I noticed the reload on my current page and the karma had increased by an additional one which I didn't want to give on that particular post. 

Now my suggestion is quite simple i am of the opinion that both the +Karma and -Karma open up a new page with a prompt message when hit. Probably something like this;



This will prevent members from accidentally giving [+Karma] or [-Karma]

Well you definitely can but you will require a lot of analysis and even experience. To be able to progress in the shitcoin market you need to properly understand how pump and dump schemes work. One needs to involve himself in strategic plannings to know the right periods to engage in massive buyings and also when to sell the coins off.
It's quite tricky as wrong moves can also result in great losses.
