BlackBerry exec believes that many businesses don’t have a great visibility about the combination of crypto mining apps with malware.
So true. Most of people are easy to be fooled by malwares, not only with crypto mining apps but also with general PC apps. Average anti virus software like Windows Defender are not effective in spotting malwares and trojans. Solution to this is to use a strong, effective third party anti virus software like KIS or Norton.

12-month payment basis is too long for a bounty. It's true that some projects can't even live long enough to 12 months. What's tokens of those projects for after that time? Personally, I don't join those bounties which take such long time to pay. There're still a lot of other bounties out there.

It's good to see the market gains but marketcap is still too far from ATH $800 billion.  I think we've been in the bull run already since bitcoin broke $10k resistance. However, it's difficult to preditct where this bull run leads to. There are many hard resistances at $12.4k or $14k.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Ethereum Gas fees too high !
« on: August 02, 2020, 01:06:10 PM »
As an ETH enthusiast, I'm disappointed to see this. But as some one has pointed out, ETH gas fee is following BTC gas fee's footstep. It's a common issue when a coin becomes mainstream, I think. Hopefully this issue will be fixed in the ETH 2.0 or at least it will be lessened.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Bitcoin is very excited at the moment.

I don't think bitcoin is exciting at the moment. It's extrememly bulish but correction can come at any time. This morning's pull back from $12.1k to $10.5k is an example. I would say that bitcoin is dangerous rather than exciting. Be careful and don't let your hype blind you.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: do we really need stable coin ?
« on: August 02, 2020, 08:25:57 AM »
I don't think that stable coins are unnecessary but I don't think that we desperately need them either. Without stable coins, we can use USD or GBP to calculate bitcoin price, all /USDT trading paris will be gone and altcoins prices will be exclusively calculated base on bitcoin. It's just the fact that we need stable coins for the ease of calculation.

It's quite a long journey that Ethereum has gone. So far, Ethereum must be the most popular blockchain in cryptocurrency world. There are many projects which claim themselves blockchain 3.0, blockchain 4.0 or even higher but none of them could outshine Ethereum. Innovation is good but I don't think there would be a coin more innovative than Ethereum in the next 2 or 3 years.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What is your opinion about Bitcoin in the future?
« on: August 01, 2020, 04:29:41 PM »
Though I like bitcoin, I don't really think it could be a method of payment in the future. We are living in a world of the governments. If bitcoin crosses the red line and violates governments' benefit, they will kill it. I think a lot of people prefer the current situation, where bitcoin is a kind of gray market product and they can earn profit from buying and trading it.

I think $14k by October is highly possible. At the time of writing this post, bitcoin's price is $11.6k and it's just the beginning of August. 3-month time is enough to gain $2.4k. Optimistic people even think $14k is soon to come in next month or even late August. However, year end price is not easy to predict. If the old ATH is broken, I think new ATH would be much higher.

The more partnership, the better for a coin. However, in Tron's case, I think it's not really "better". In fact, Tron has a lot of partnerships already. None of them are noticeable. Nexo is just another similar one. Nexo looks like a good project but its fame in crypto world needs verifying in time.

I think payment first would be better. That way, you can sell your tokens right after it's listed. To many projects, that point of selling is usually at highest price. After that, prices usually gradually decrease. Some people might say that bounty hunters selling tokens leads to price dump but the number of bounty tokens is too small to cause price dump.

Bitcoin is obviously my most favorite coin. It's the king of all coins and holds the highest price. After Bitcoin is Ethereum, of course. I've digged many researches on altcoins lately and found some really interesting and promising coins. Here are some of them: Theta, Raven, Matic, OGN...

Scams are the biggest, one and only fear in crypto, especially new cryptocurrencies. Only a few genuine projects have shown up in the last couple of years. The ratio between real projects/ total new projects are too tiny. There were many proposals to prevent scams like STO or DYCO but none came into effectiveness.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Bounty is still profitable
« on: July 27, 2020, 04:44:02 AM »
Believe it or not, some people are just doing bounties for passion, including me. Somehow, bounties are one of my killing time hobby during quarantine time. My paid off from bounties has been so little so far. But anyway, I will keep those tokens for mid and long terms and hope for price pumps when uptrend comes.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: ETH is going up day by day..
« on: July 27, 2020, 04:35:26 AM »
ETH going up is an inevitable truth. The fact that it's a good altcoin, plus the rise from bitcoin and PoS hype. All of that contributed to ETH's recent surge. ETH enthusiasts' patience has been fairly paid off. But I'm not so hyped that ETH can reach up to $300k. That's far beyond my expectation.
