Would anybody be interested in an altcoin node challenge?

In addition to running the Bitcoin node, I also tried running the Monero node (its Blockchain data is currently about 130 GB).

Monero is probably the most important altcoin that needs nodes. Not counting Bitcoin Core because that is not an altcoin (obviously), the others are either too niche and have very few users such as Litecoin, Doge (doge is actually more memes than actual use), Grin, or they have lots and lots of validators already, enough for the network such as Ethereum - and people are already getting paid on-chain directly for running a staking node in the first place.

As far as I know, most users (who already have access to send karma) can only send 1 karma per 10 hours.

To clarify it further, you cannot send karma to the same user in ten hours. But you can send karma to others! I just tried giving Karma to you and NotATether and both worked.

@NotATether, you can ask moderators (Probably Jokers) if they can help with running a similar contest or if you have a friend circle who can help you by sending the participants karma will work too. I can send a Karma to participants if you ask me after they complete the challenge. After all, it won't costs us anything.

I think that it can be an interesting educative event which can help different users to understand how to run an own node and what underwhater stones can be there, how to solve possible problems, etc. I think that if there will be an interest with this contest, we'll try to find a way to help with +karma for the most active participants.

I was kind of confused if you could send multiple karmas simultaneously because the president said no moderators or specific groups could send multiple karmas at the same time except the admin and the president. But I thought moderators could send multiple karmas simultaneously, so I mentioned your name.

@NotATether, Do you know if it's still possible to mine Testnet Bitcoin without an ASIC or a Graphics card? If so, let the community mine some testnet Bitcoin. There is a lot of demand of testnet Bitcoin but most of the testnet faucets died these days.

Only admin and the President have an option of giving more that 1 karma per time. But there can be other options. Firstly, we can ask them. Secondly, there's a strong Russian community on the forum and I can propose them to take part in this action. Years ago we helped some prominent users with too small amount of karma from other sections if their input in the forum was good. And I'm sure we can find other ways to support the contest if it will be successful.
