Bitcoin Forum / Re: ordinals and inscriptions

surely as you may have noticed there was an absurd peak in fees (fortunately contained in a few hours) certainly due to ordinals or runes or the combination of both
I don't know if anyone has checked if he has rare satoshis, do it
The spike in transaction fees on that date and time doesn't seem to be that much, in fact what gets a spike in transaction fees is on the 7th, which I have marked with a red box in this picture.

this graph from mempool is not bad, I like it a lot
It's a good resource to see what's happening to the mempool
although my favorite graphics provider remains glassnode

except that it costs a lot, $40 a month... if anyone has it and wants to share the expenses and account

Well, the Premier League is a good choice for him to try, he can measure his performance, because in the Premier League he will have fiercer competition. However, he must also be careful in choosing the team he will join.

Osimhen is a player who has great potential, it would be a shame if he only stayed for Napoli. Because he can get a better team. I don't mean to underestimate Napoli, but we can judge for ourselves when compared to other teams.
Victor Osimhen seems interested for playing with Chelsea than accepting PSG offer behind how most competitive the Premier League and Ligue 1 although for next season he will not play in Champion League. But Chelsea offer seems not interested yet for Napoli behind the amount too small around 80 million euro including Romelu Lukaku, I don't think worth behind Lukaku performance not impressive well and Napoli want to sell Osimhen above 150 million euro. If Chelsea can't reach offer from Napoli I think its great chance for PSG behind they have much money and next season will leave by Mbappe.

Now it's certain he will leave, there are rumors that PSG is doing everything to get him as he has to replace Mbappe who isn't in very good shape lately
Who knows who will be able to grab it, for him, for the player it's a great opportunity to play in Europe and show what he's worth

Ethereum Forum / Re: Will we really see an Ethereum ETF?
« on: Today at 12:27:13 PM »
Hopefully early next year we will hear good news, the SEC will approve the Ethereum ETF. And that happens when the price of bitcoin is above $100k, this is just hope, because the SEC will definitely study and carry out analysis in making considerations about the ethereum ETF

I also think it will happen next year, in 2025... more or less we are with the timing of the bitcoin ETF like this
among other things in 2025 we will be in full turmoil due to the bitcoin halving and consequently an unprecedented ATH in the history of cryptocurrencies
so I expect that year so that it pumps more

Crypto Wallets / Re: Wasabi wallet shutting down Coinjoin
« on: Today at 12:25:37 PM »
in any case, I understand the sadness that assails when a privacy tool is destroyed (for no reason then)
know that JOINMARKET exists which is coinjoin but in p2p mode
It's not very easy to use - true - but with a little training it's not difficult to do (I'm referring to bonds)

Depends
- if you are a professional trader the trade certainly wins over hold, because you do it to make a living so you know how to do it and how to manage emotions and above all you have the right news from the right people
- if you are not a professional trader, it is better to hold the right things, whether cryptocurrencies or shares of strong companies such as Apple, Facebook and the like
You are right, if we are not a professional trader, we should become a long-term holder, because this is safer and more profitable. Becoming a professional trader requires experience and of course having analysis and predictions that are close to accurate, and as you said being able to manage emotions well.

I say this with regret and envy, not with anger and sarcasm
I'd like to learn how to trade but it's something that takes a really long time and it would mean learning a different job from what I do: so more time
Unfortunately I can't dedicate this time to it

The Realized Cap represents the capital realized by holders when they sell their bitcoins at the cycle highs.

As seen in the center of the chart, during the 2021 cycle, holders sold very little at the first cyclic peak, while they sold a lot during the second peak (yellow bands: BTC sales, blue bands: ETH sales).
On the right, the small yellow and blue bands indicate that in our current cycle, there hasn't been any significant selling yet, as holders do not view the current peak as the absolute high for this cycle. This suggests that the exponential phase, during which the true highs will be reached for this cycle, is still to come.

I used to  do staking back then specially when Binance is still in good form in my country but have stopped years ago.
though  i know how good this is but isn't that  safe completely as there is still the HODLING that i trusted more so maybe will be consider other options in the future but not for now.

eh, stacking is also a good activity with PoS but you expose yourself to immaterial loss if by chance the coin loses a lot of money
see who had bet on CAKE
yes you had a very high % of CAKE return but in the meantime CAKE has lost like 90%, so you are in any case at a loss

Crypto Wallets / Re: Wasabi wallet shutting down Coinjoin
« on: May 08, 2024, 12:29:52 PM »
yes I had read the news, truly sad news for the whole world like when the regulator targeted pgp years and years ago
This makes it clear what the regulator is aiming for and what it wants to achieve
I advise you to think very carefully about this thing and meditate ... i am sad

Crypto Wallets / Re: Phoenix Wallet another US ban?
« on: May 08, 2024, 12:28:50 PM »
meanwhile wasabi wallet, I read in the news, they have stopped developing coinjoin and will remove it shortly, or rather very soon
so be careful if you still have this feature
This situation is very sad so people think about how the regulator is positioning himself, he wants control of everything

The black curve “Realized Price” indicator represents the average price at which traders sold their bitcoins during a dip.

The red curve, however, represents the average cost at which traders purchased the bitcoins sold during the decline.

In bear markets, this average cost acts as resistance to the "Realized Price" (i.e. the black curve is below it and fails to rise above it), while in bull markets it acts as support (the black curve bounces above during normal corrections ).
As you can see, this time too, as in the previous ones in this bull market, the black curve has rebounded.  8)

Bitcoin Forum / Re: All you need to know after Bitcoin halving
« on: May 08, 2024, 09:15:53 AM »

guys finally the fees have reached 15 sat per vbyte!
we're back to normal, these are good opportunities to consolidate

I recommend you, listen to my advice if you don't want to pay exorbitant fees in the future if needed, I recommend you

paradoxically, at the time of the halving, bitcoin drops in price and does not increase, after about a year we see the first increases
this is based on the past of halvings obviously
but given that bitcoin is an asset with a very static cycle I think it will go exactly the same way ;)
In previous cycles, BTC has never created a new ATH before halving, but this time we have a new history, perhaps due to the positive impact of BTC Spot ETFs or BTC having new behavior in a new wave (according to Elliott theory). So everything we predict is only probabilistic, similar to the increase or decrease of BTC price after halving.

I think the positive impact from halving news has been absorbed into the BTC price, so halving could be a sell-the-news event in the market, when investors are happy with the profits and start to take profits. At the same time, the scarcity has not really affected the market and created a supply-demand imbalance, and has not been able to push the BTC price higher. Typically, we have to wait a few months after halving to see BTC conquer new price ranges.

Re-accumulation is necessary for the market to continue to grow stronger, we should find ways to take advantage of this opportunity instead of worrying about the market future. I myself am quite satisfied with the current re-accumulation phase, I have transferred part of my capital to DCA ALTS and have been able to buy quite a few tokens at good prices thanks to the market correction.

you are right, i agree
+1 karma

Crypto Wallets / Re: Phoenix Wallet another US ban?
« on: May 07, 2024, 12:54:48 PM »
On Phoenix, you can not open a channel. You can easily just download the wallet and start using the wallet. This is not possible on noncustodial bitcoin lightning network wallet. I can generate invoice for pay on Phoenix without any channel opened for it. Or is there a way on the wallet to open and close a channel?
Phoenix is non-custodial wallet, you have seed words and node is created and operated on smartphone.
If you want option for opening and closing channels try checking out alternative lightning wallet Zeus LN.

You are correct. It is noncustodial. But let us say Phoenix is noncustodial and another lightning wallet like Aqua or others is noncustodial. Will you be able to recover your lightning coins from Phoenix on another lightning network wallet? I think you will need the same noncustodial wallet for the recovery. If Phoenix is gone and not accessible anymore, you money is gone. Or am I wrong?
You can always send sats from your installed wallet to some other wallet even if Phonex is gone.
They are not the only lightning wallet that works like this, and they made this decision because they wanted some protection against US official attacks.

I find this kind of ban quite stupid
like when they try to block sites by obscuring them from internet providers' DNS
just use another state's DNS and you're good to go

in any case if they want to use phoenix just run it under tor (integrated) or use a router with tor transparently and then use a vpn
the problem is soon solved

In crypto there are different ways you can actually make money without taking much risk..ain't saying this is risk free but you know, it can't be compared when you force yourself trading and losing it all in one goal

there is also lending, dear friends
Lending is fantastic, you have to lend money to those who want to do leveraged trading
whatever your outcome, whether your trade goes well or badly, we receive commissions
exchange like
- bitfinex
- poloniex
- kucoin
they offer markets where those who lend money can decide the % they prefer and this is very nice
Binance decides what % to give you, this is not nice
