I look at dogecoin like bronze, litecoin as silver and bitcoin as gold of the crypto world. Alt coins are becoming more and more popular, while bitcoin is still the most popular, 50% of the market belong to alts, and that is a big chunk. What appeals to you more, litecoin, which feels like a cheaper bitcoin, and has same decimal stricture and good fees. Or dogecoin, completely different, whole numbers, no decimals, super cheap to transact.

I have lots of good feeling towards dogecoins, made about 600 bucks completely by accident just by storing small amounts in dogecoins over time. Second jump I sold some and bought litecoin, because its so cheap.

To be honest I have a hart time deciding myself, if I had to choose between the two, right now I have equal amounts of both, and often use litecoin to cash out dogecoin, because not all exchanges support dogecoin.

Awesome, thanks for sharing. I too prefer to hold both of them, when dogecoin jumps, it jumps good. There was a 4x jump not too long ago, but I see it has dropped since than, along with other currencies.

Yes, I think so too, I use dogecoin for escape only so that transfer fees are cheap and fast delivery, I prefer litecoin which has a definite future, is more valuable and has its own value, indeed the price is falling, but I'm sure this year all alt including litecoin will moon again.

Dogecoin can jump 10 times and it will still be cheap to send, it's a very interesting currency. Also there is possibility that social media platforms and various gaming platforms might use it for tipping and as game currency.

Technically Litecoin is good for investment but on other side you should check history of the DogeCoin you can see Doge was almost dead few weeks ago. If was on 17 satoshis on that time but on last week few big investors bought lots of doges therefore price was increased and now that was on 22 satoshis.

Of course, Litecoin is more valuable than DOGE, although sometimes in some situations it is more convenient to use DOGE because of the lower commission when withdrawing from the exchange. Moreover, DOGE does not have Total Supply and the number of coins can increase to infinity, and this makes it not as valuable as Litecoin.

I have not really looked into the dogecoin project and what they have to offer for the crypto world, but I prefer litecoin as it is of more value and popular too than dogecoin.

Litecoin has no unique selling points. When the code is open source, you need a strong brand and identity to distinguish you if you have nothing. Coke and McDonalds don't get to where they are now by having the best products. Dogecoin has a strong brand that distinguishes it. I can't say that better because you have to have confidence that it will be fully mined and can continue to add users faster than coin inflation. That is still an interesting experiment in my opinion.

The Litecoin price has surged recently due to lot of reasons. An international company in online foreign exchange, FXCM group had recntly announced that it has extended its cryptocurrency offering by adding Litecoin. Also, Litecoin introduces Confidential Transactions which will make Litecoin even more stronger.
On the other hand, Dogecoin price is down and currently trading at $0.003034. Due to the bridge between dogecoin and Ether chain, there was a lack of Dogethereum. This lead to the decrease in price of Dogecoin. Dogecoin is aiming to become the default crypto for merchant payments, this might increase the adoption rate of Dogecoin.
Both are potential coins in their unique way. But currently Litecoin is more potential coin than Dogecoin. The ltc to doge conversion gives 44416 DOGE currently.

I still do not see why people continue to compare cryptocurrencies with metals. As for Litecoin, for me, it is better as it is more reliable than Dogecoin. This token will go up in 2020 greatly.

I think Litecoin is more profitable than dogecoin. Because I see litecoin has growth potential. It is one of altcoin will be the next ethereum. It is cheap and fast to transaction. Litecoin Is also Trading In Forex market. I hope It will be more valuable again.

Both are very potential coin, But It depends which Investment do you want to do. Dogecoin is good for trading and short term investment and litecoin is good for long term investment. I have seen many predictions about that. so, let's try with your Investment.
