Do you consider ripple as the crypto?

I will not consider ripple as the crypto.
Because it is not decentralised currency.

I agree with you, Ripple may not be "the Crypto". But as you can see, it has a large number of adoptions recently.  Further, since it is not decentralized, banks are favouring them and the Govt will never agree with complete decentralization. Even though, our thoughts that decentralized coins will rule the future, are very much true. Ripple will be something for next few years or maybe longer. Just my thoughts

I considered ripple as crypto. Once the coin enter the world of crypto then it means it is one of crypto coin. It is like altcoins, every coin that does not bitcoin is considered as altcoins.

Decentralized or not, Ripple is a crypto dematerialized so we must consider Ripple as a crypto.
After knows if Ripple is a good crypto or not... everyone will make their choice.

Ripple is a crypto weather centralized or decentralized, in as much as people will make money from it, they will invest.
IMO people like to cast blame, so if any shit happen with ripple, they blame the government in control of ripple.

I do consider it as a cryptocurrency, because a cryptocurrency is not about being only decentralized or not. It is about having the major features of a cryptocurrency

Not because it is not decentralised the identity of ripple as being a crypto is lost already. This altcoin is just centralized but the true identity of being a crypto didn't change.

To the category of crypto currency, we refer specific coins or tokens not because they are centralized or decentralized, but because they are digital and built on a block chain. Therefore, we want it or not, and ripple is a crypto currency.
