What's your favorite Top 10 Altcoin and why?

As many of you are probably aware, the Top 10 altcoins by market cap changes from time to time. Current newcomers this year include Polkadot and Chainlink, but are these the new favorites of crypto investors, or will they follow the path of other Top 10 altcoins by falling lower in the rankings?

Personally, my favorite altcoin remains Ethereum, the no.1 altcoin for good reason in my opinion. My second and third choices would be Chainlink and Polkadot, as I believe they both have a lot of potential, but also still have a lot to prove in order to remain in the Top 10.


For reference, the Top 10 looked like this on the same date in previous years:

2019: Ethereum, XRP, Tether, BCH, Litecoin, Binance Chain, EOS, Bitcoin SV, Stellar, UNUS SED LEO (6 remain)
2018: XRP, Ethereum, BCH, Stellar, EOS, Litecoin, Tether, Cardano, Monero, TRON (6 remain)
2017: Ethereum, XRP, Litecoin, Monero, Ethereum Classic, Dash, Augur, NEM, MaidSafeCoin, Waves (3 remain)

Quite the change compared to a few years ago near the peak of the previous bull market!

For me, the best altcoin is Ethereum. Although, if you take a closer look at this issue, ETH has already surpassed altcoin and completely out of the category, comparing to Bitcoin. Used as some parameters, Ethereum is superior to Bitcoin. Undoubtedly, Ethereum has a problem with scalability and some altcoins are better at this, but bitcoin's transaction speed is an order of magnitude lower than that of Ethereum, and this does not prevent BTC from being the leader of the cryptocurrency market.

Ethereum. I like it since then for it is the only altcoin which can keep the anchor of progress. It is the altcoin which can hold the pressure against the dramatic correction of bitcoin .

I still believe in Vitalik Buterin and his teammates, the upcoming officially-launched ETH 2.0 will give the entire Ethereum community the most reliable answer. I think everything will be fine, and we will have a faster, more decentralized, safer, more environmentally friendly blockchain POS.

In my cryptocurrency sessions, I'm using different coins/tokens for trading transfer payments, etc. thats why technically I have not aware of the rankings, by the way, most of the time I'm using XRP and Ether for different purposes but I'm holding XTZ, ADA, TRX and XRP so for me my top 10 is those I was holding.

Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin, are examples of major coins that are popular with many people,
as a smart investor, I better avoid coins that have low liquidity, the reason is because the lower the liquidity a coin has, the greater the speculation needed to invest there,
as you know, speculation with gambling are two things the same)

Since we are looking for who's best I can say that nothing is the best except ethereum. It has been at the top since then and nothing has changed up until now. Some of the altcoins which were at top 10 are now eliminated but not ethereum.

My top favorite coins are Bitcoin and Ethereum although you haven't added Bitcoin in the list. Hence Ethereum is the top favorite coins to me from the first day of join in cryptocurrency trade and after entering into crypto forum also. I have seen many ups and downs of ethereum in the last five years. I have made huge profits from ethereum because i am Ethereum holder. Ethereum is such a coin that can't be ignored now  a days for its widespread use and popularity. We are now waiting for Ethereum 2.0 launch in the next month successfully.

Still ethereum is the best altcoin for me and the second is binance coin, they are perfect investments and surely you can make profit with these two especially ethereum because of upcoming eth 2.0

I think that right now I really like Ethereum, BNB, USDT, and Doge too. I like some of these coins because they have a lot of potential. And it is also very easy to trade with these coins.

Choose Ethereum, of course. Because this coin is the longest and has been proven to be able to survive. Even Ethereum has the nickname the king of smart contracts. Which many projects also use Ethereum.

For me, the most popular altcoin is, of course, Ethereum, because most from the altcoins I invest in Ethereum, and therefore most of all I get profit from altcoins its from Ethereum, and in general, for a long time I like how Ethereum developers develop the capabilities and technologies of Ethereum, only now the only thing I don't like is the too expensive transactions on the Ethereum blockchain.

My 1. favorite for mining is Ethereum.  My 2nd favorite Tether provides the opportunity to withdraw from exchanges without paying fees.
