i want to be a short term investor but it is really stressful and hard to do...
You need to devote yourself. Long term is better if you already have a job

I prefer long term because of my existing job in which short term is in favor of day traders which is a time consuming, both are profitable but it will depend of your day to day activities on which is available for you. Therefore i choose long term as i can do crypto during my free time only.

I think both short term and long term are profitable but it depends on the expertise of a crypto investor and the status of the cryptocurrency market.

Yes, it really takes a lot of time, especially search of a difference of exchange rate where to buy cheaper, and where to sell more expensively. But if you so like this subject, then why you don't use third-party services for the help? Our bot, for example, just sends notices on a difference of currencies between the exchanges. It saves a lot of time. And if you the beginner, then we also train you in arbitration  ;)

I think it depends on what a person can risk
If he can afford it, it's better long term investment
But overall I think long term investment is greater than short term if you can afford it

That depend by the coin you use for trading, some coin maybe good for long term but not good for short term. and otherwise

Everyone wants to make much money in a short time, but of course it's not very likely. At least it requires a lot of luck. So it's better to try long-term investments. That's not very easy, of course. The coins we want to invest should be chosen very well, because there are hundreds of scam projects on the market and you don't want to lose your money.

short-term and long-term it is absolutely different types of trade! just someone buys and is ready to wait for year or more for receiving profit, and someone wants to earn from the short-term auction here and now

Both are quite profitable to me, the greatest difference between them is the time you need to monitor your trades. Needless to say both require me to learn and equip with a different skillset.

I think both strategy are good but it depends on the market situation on what strategy we need to apply to become earn more profit just like today the  good invesment strategy while the market is too weak is long term hold and patiently waiting until the market recovers.

better long-term investment
But overall I think long-term investment is greater than short-term if you can afford it. Each choice carries its own consequences. You certainly know better with your own abilities

Long term investment for coins that has proven their worth for years like bitcoin and ethereum while for those new coins, I would have a short term investment and then later on, I might consider investing in it for the long term if they are worth it and they are active and follow the road map. For now, I am using altcoins to accumulate more bitcoin and ethereum.

Long term investment requires you to leave your investment for years minimum period one year while you would  have gotten profit over and over again with short term investment

I began to trade on the small periods, but have understood that at such market it is almost impossible. Now I am an investor for long term. I will wait for recovery of the market. I think the market by new year has to be restored

I think both of them, longtime and shortime investment.
Both are profitable.
Stock good coin with cheap price that have a good real use case and implemented globally for longtime investment.
And for short investment, buy and sell another coins to increase our fund asset. Which coin should be bought ? It depends on the current situation

I love long-term investment with a test of nerves for strength. The main thing is often not to look at cryptocurrency rates, otherwise you can go crazy.  ;D

Now the price of bitcoin and altcoins is declining. I think it's better to invest in two years now.I believe Bitcoin's price in two years will cross $25000.

Now more and more convinced that for me it is preferable to invest for a very long time.A year or two.I do not think that the market will be able to recover quickly.

For now, I think the long term investment will be more profitable. Buy a lot of coins / tokens in current decline cycle, then sell them on green market.

For me as long as I'm profitable it won't matter which terms as not as always you will get your profits in short term. You need to wait longer until the market recovers from corrections.

Long term investment was advantage in my part before, I bought my eth when it was only 10 usd I have no really idea about crypto back then I just want to take a ride when it reached to 300 usd, I've withdrawn my Eth convert to USD . After sometimes I bought another Oyster Pearl the price reach the all time high, I've never withdrawn  a single PRL thinking the pattern of PRL same as Eth turned out I was wrong. What I learned is that some alts are really meant for short term the others are for long term and set a target price so the feeling of remorseful you will never experienced that.

In my opinion, Crypto currency is more suitable for long-term investments. Why? Because not every year crypto will benefit. Prices easily change up and down. But there are also types of crypto that can be used as short-term investments such as Ripple, Eth, Neo and others.

As research has shown-earned more those who actively traded. Those who simply kept-now in minus...you can earn both intraday trading and long-term investment. It all depends on our skills, goals and strategy.

I prefer long-term investment now. For this, I am looking for opportunities that I will catch earlier. I like investments like Itheum that have a solid team and a vision for the future. I have no doubt that it will make its name much more popular with Web 3 and Metaverse. just a little time :)

For me I prefer for long term investment, it is profitable if you hold for long but make sure your coin that has a real project behind because it has potential to increase more in the future.

Staking Polinate is another option to gain passively, and as we all know, the best investment technique is HODL. So I'll have my $POLI's for a long time:)

I find long-term investment logical, more reassuring and many projects have the potential to reach serious values in the long run. There is a project I am currently investing in, for example IOEN, and I believe it will be very valuable.

Actually, I totally agree with you. I'm still beginner but I made great profits with IOEN. Current market circumstances dump the prices a little bit but I believe that's great chance to collect IOEN more and more. That project will be huge in 2-3 years imo. Their work zone is amazing and they're working for humanity.
