Gambling discussion / Re: Is it right for a lady to gamble ?
« on: May 24, 2024, 09:53:50 PM »
Gambling is open to all, there is no discrimination between men and women.  Just as a man can earn and he can live an independent life, why can't a woman participate in gambling if the income is involved.  If in developed countries there is no difference in the participation of men and women in gambling but in our country there is a difference in the participation of women and men in gambling although men can participate in gambling but women have to face a difficult situation.
It is all about the choice of the lady to participate in gambling or not, and if she loves gambling, she will do it to the bearest minimal. Women play slot games a lit and it is fun for them, so any woman that feels she is happy and do entertain herself when gambling can gamble, because they are good at managing money than a man.
Yeah exactly and based on my observation women do play gambling in a  very conservative way never seen a greedy one personally but with men I see them a lot. I think you are right cause men do mismanage our own budget as majority of us do it more than women.

In fact gambling addiction is hard to quit and i have seen him continue to gamble even after winning big money. How do you see it reflected? I think that when i suddenly make big money from gambling, i will stop gambling and start a unique business with that money. Because then i don't want to lose money so i want to keep the money strong and that's why i stop gambling.
If I can get rich from gambling then I will never involve myself in gambling but I will permanently control myself from gambling.  Since I will become a big man from gambling, I will not be involved in gambling but I will create a casino and gambling site and run the company myself.
Quite confusing but yeah that is your own personal preference but me I think I am not quitting gambling or maybe focus on something though the idea of running my own gambling platform would be very technical for me since I know nothing about business and stuff however if that really is my path then I would be happy to learn new things.

Ever since I am jumping into crypto I haven't had used windows that long as my laptop got flooded during supertyphoon and started that day I am using Android  phone alone and so far haven't had any issues aside from it being super handy and portable I personally can't complain. Anyways, thank you for bringing this here as other windows users might not know this thing it will probably help them being aware of that specific issue.

I think what pther comments are saying is correct about choosing the top 5 and reputable exchange worldwide but of course it needs to be compliant to your local laws or else you will be facing consequences like us here in my country where Binance and other platforms is currently on a situation where they're being restricted and ongoing talks has been made though some of them get totally banned and yeah we are all waiting for some good news if not then time to move on.

Economics , Sociology & Politics / Re: Food Shortage
« on: May 24, 2024, 09:29:15 PM »
Generally food shortage is attributed to so many things in a society, in some countries, food shortage is caused as a result of natural disasters like flood, earthquake etc... these factors cause death and it is dangerous, it also hinder the farmers from cultivating and farming...
Food shortage gives rise to inflation, because when the food is scarce then the price of foodstuffs will increase and it will lead to high costs of living.

In addition, a crisis can cause food shortages. It has been predicted that Nigeria may experience food shortage due to the clash between farmers and herdsmen which affected farming activities. Also, most farmers have called on the government to support them to increase their productivity and the neglect by the government will lead to a shortage of food in the country in time to come.
Of course it will affect the food supply as these farmers might protest, and will make something that might cause negative result like food shortage so yeah government should spend what is needed to get a sufficient supply of food for domestic needs and export. As heat index soar at the moment I think it also affects as climate becomes more agressive nowadays.

Yeah I think we really need to be independent I mean the importance of self-reliance would be at high level given the fact that negative or bad experiences we had in the past will be the testament that we should not rely on the government ourselves or else history will repeat itself.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Joinmarket.net (discussion) experience?
« on: May 24, 2024, 08:39:55 PM »
I never used this one too but I am watching this thread to get feedbacks and personal experiences from users as this is my first time hearing such domain name ever since I came into crypto.

Well actually I just remember this event right upon reading threads on forums  because I already forget the Bitcoin pizza day for a couple of years now since I jump into crypto forums in 2016. Very memorable day to be honest as it marks Bitcoin as being used in purchasing something earlier in the history.

Technical analysis yeah sobrang helpful talaga when it comes to to finding clue of the next price movement and possible trends. Pero tingin ko dito sa price ni Abitcoin once mabreak nyan previous ATH alams na yan posible aabutin ang $80k-$100k nyan pero I could be wrong on this but who knows right?

Philippines (Tagalog) / Re: Paymaya: Naranasan nyo na ba to?
« on: May 24, 2024, 08:18:11 PM »

Gambling discussion / Re: Whats your experience with gambling?
« on: May 21, 2024, 07:06:08 PM »
I don't think this space is enough to share my experience. Gambling made me almost drop out from school because I used my school fees to gamble and was denied writing exam. Luckily, those of us who missed out the exam was given another exam to write. This was my worst experience.

Other times, I have failed to cash out due to greed and then I will end up losing everything and wishing I had cashed out. Sometimes I win but it is not commensurate with my loss.
That's a terrible experience you have, We all know that tuition fees really is high depending on courses so how did you regain that money you have lost? Did you borrow?  Gambling especially to students really makes it turn very badly for the gambler unless he or she got lucky enough to score a decent win.
I hope OP doesn't make the same mistake in the future, because this was a stupid move to use money for something as important as education. However, this is a mistake that should be a lesson for the future.

We can make mistakes like this, but it's only once, and even if you've never made a mistake, don't ever want to do it. Gambling is a game that must use very free money, you cannot use money for other purposes. And even that free money must be managed well.
Well yeah I would say I am willing to take then risk if I personally don't need that free extra money because if not then that's a suicide as I think it seems it is more like we're using loan money to gamble. But if it was me personally I would not do the same thing OP was doing because I know myself that I cannot repay that tuition money in the long run and that might only gave me stress if I was on his shoes.

Go big or go home!!! When you gamble are you looking to make $1 or are you looking to make $1000? What's the point if you are just trying to make $1? If you're out with your friends and just entertaining yourself your goal is likely just to break even and have fun. If you're gambling for a living and making money to pay bills and support your everyday life, your goal should be to make moderate to high bets and try to get paid while not risking the whole bankroll on 1 bet. Kinda mix it up and hope for a lucky streak. This only applies to games such as dice, roulette, blackjack, or other table games. If you're playing slots, I always max bet but in the end I expect to lose.
Yeah absolutely right! That is why I hate slots games because I had never been that lucky on it even when I was an agent few years back as all my commisions has lost those it's not that big since my players aren't that big fish but yeah it's quite fun but not gonna play it again I prefer other games than that. 😅

Well I personally invested in VeChain a couple of years ago maybe that was 2018 I think and I also like it's narrative to be honest. For me VeChain is an underrated coin or project but I know one day investors will see it's worth.

Economics , Sociology & Politics / Re: Set your budget.
« on: May 21, 2024, 06:36:22 PM »
Everyone should really set the budget. A list of what you need when you go to grocery can be really helpful, so you can just get what you need. The same thing with other things. Because if we won't set it then most probably we will reach out to some lending apps and will be in debt. That's very frustrating
this is my biggest problem in the past , that we are going in grocery without the list and yeah just taking this and that  we think needed and ending this as? spending so much even those things that we don't needed in time.
this is why since then I required my why to put a list about those items we need in that certain week , because that is the real budgeting that we are now saving a lot of money for weekly spending.
Yeah I agree! I think most of us has experienced this thing in the past but as time goes by we have already learned from it. We all know how annoying it was when you are facing the groceries in front of you but you forgot what you are gonna buy and that was a mistake since you might bought something you didn't need and even stay in the area just roaming around hoping you can remember the things you needed. Not only it cost you a lot of time but also you might overspend for something unimportant. That is how important to set our own budget on specific things we need so we must have list of it so we spend no more no less.

Yeah my password and name is mine, but I do not fully control it. I AM SUBJECT TO WEBSITE RESTRICTIONS. I can no longer say use a mixer on bitcointalk.org.  The website bans it.

That is one example of what they do to my account.

On this website I can't lock an out of date thread that is one example of this websites control of my account.

the lists are longer but they show I have partial control not full control of philipma1957 at both altcoinstalks.com and bitcointalk.org
Yeah this is for me very simple, easy to understand and accurate explaination and sample by the way. Partial control what describes our control with our accounts in any platforms especially social media. It could also be in an online games, gambling platforms, streaming sites and any other since we are still compliant to the platforms TOS if not we can be banned.
