Would you want to be paid your salary in bitcoins? State your reasons

Well, it really depends ... If this is my main income - surely not, Bitcoin is not so implemented yet - I still can't buy groceries with Bitcoin. But if it is something additional - sure, Bitcoin will rise high I think. :)

I do not believe that would constitute as legal pay in my country, but yes I would be open to having a certain part of my Compensation and Benefits package to be in Crypto like Bitcoin.

Being paid a salary in bitcoins is a major issue in the US. It's not impossible, but proving you are meeting minimum wage requirements when paying salary in bitcoin is difficult and paperwork intensive. The safest thing to do is pay the minimum wage in $ and everything else in bitcoin.

Bitcoin price changes time to time. so it is not fair to give basic salary by BTC, But its better to give as a bonus or as an allowance.

Base salary, even for contractors, would not be legal in most places in the world. So it would be rather a part of the Benefits and not of the Compensation package.

Of course yes! If there is a campony that pay their people with bitcoin and all people will grab that opportunity.

I can accept that as an incentive but not salary. Salaries must be fixed and predictable for a particular point in time. We all know the volatility nature of cryptocurrencies.

It'll be wonderful idea if I have this type of job then I do it right away. There will no need to promotion because bitcoin will increase salary will increase.

Salary is based on the day we do our work and base on minimum wages of the company and if bitcoin become a salary wow thats a big pleasure to every member but theres always a changes of amount and time .

Bitcoin as salary that would be good as good I assume but we differ only on the price and the exact time .Because salary is every 15th day of month or every 30th day of the month and smaller than bitcoin but on exact date .

I've never heard of a company that hires its employees using bitcoin, it seems unlikely that bitcoin is used as a salary

There will be huge numbers of applicants if there is a company who pay bitcoin as salary. It sounds interesting the salary is bitcoin regular wage amount that base on fiat to bitcoin. I think the company will required the applicant's who hold bitcoin to apply the give and take management. I just think about that.

I don't like, the reason, it is volatile but if time will come that the price of it will become stable I would choose it as my salary.

i would accept it if it just an insentive buy not my salary because bitcoin is sometimes in a dump price so my salary would be in a dump price also and i should wait my salary goes up if bitcoins value goes high also .. not good for me

The best option maybe is to be paid half in fiat and half in bitcoin. This way, you get to invest and you also stay liquid.

This will be a great opportunity for all crypto gurus or investors. I will really like being paid in btc for service I rendered. Being paid in fiat wont earn much than being paid in btc because as btc increases, I get more money when I convert.

I would not like to receive my salary as bitcoins because of how frequently digital currencies can change. Digital currencies fluctuate within minutes and so paying me in bitcoins might be high at your end but maybe when i decide to cash it into fiat currency the prices might have dropped making me lose money.

It will be my advantage if I will be paid in bitcoin than real money. Bitcoin value will probably increase more than the price today, and the money it won't change.

Yes because I know bitcoin value will increase in the future. No problem if they pay me just .00008 btc or whatever price that according to my job payment rate.

may already exist in certain countries, but it does not happen in my country. but bitcoin prices can change quickly, then it will be difficult for one party if used to pay employees.

I think bitcoin can also make our main income, if we really do a lot of capital to trade in alt, for us also easy we get profit every day and also salary in this forum also big compared to our work everyday.

Even someone would accept bitcoin as the payment for his or her service in a company or any kind of job this will not happen until there is regulation from the government.

Yes it is very true that I really love when the salary with bitcoin, because by review using bitcoin I also can all invest in the long term from my own salary.

The payment of the salary in Bitcoin would allow, to be paid every day or even every hour, the blockchain reducing the costs of administration and transfer.
With ethereum smart contract it might be even simpler, the payment could be triggered during certain actions of the employees...

I would love to be paid with bitcoin as salary ,well but we can't expect we can be paid with a huge amount of bitcoin as salary. We can't expect how much the salary we get when pay day ,because as we can see the price of bitcoin is not steady.

If the volatile will not takes place anymore, yes I will choose bitcoin as a salary for my job. Of course many knows that bitcoin is good but I am just more concern about the current needs than taking the risk which is the consequence is my present needs which is more important than the future.

Yes. It is true, we can also considered that Bitcoin is salary. This is the equivalent of your hard work on, investing, posting and sharing everything about Bitcoin.

I think the people will not agree this because theres a lot of processing in order to cash out bitcoins while fiat money is easy to get.

I don't like if bitcoin doesn't have high value that seems better to have a money salary than bitcoin salary. However if bitcoin goes up and up not touching the total depression I will be thankful enough to receive my bitcoin salary for I know bitcoin is wouldn't be dead now and tomorrow.

This is very interesting topic, bitcoin now a days has a huge impact in business so making it as a salary won't be a problem at all. Here in my country we can use bitcoin for payment in laundry mat.
