Ethereum Forum / Re: Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!!
« on: November 07, 2018, 04:43:16 PM »
From what you wrote, I think you are comparing BTC and ETH based on the price, people tend to just look at the price and forget all else... Let me remind you about the awesome technology behind Ethereum Blockchain.. Ethereum is the pioneer of Smart Contracts, Ethereum is the Pioneer of Tokens, up till now the bitcoin Blockchain doesn't use smart casual nyract technology and to be honest, the Blockchain is very poor, with transactions that could be hanging for weeks, the only good thing about the bitcoin Blockchain is it's price.

The etherium's ability to have tokens that are now being used by so many ICO's is quite amazing.  If bitcoin is like gold, that ether is like crude oil

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Has Bitcoin brought damage to you?
« on: November 07, 2018, 04:39:53 PM »
Bitcoin has brought no damage to me because it always give me more profit for holding. Bitcoin has facilitated my payment for services and goods in online shops like Newegg, eGifter, Expedia etc. Exercise patience whenever the market goes and hold it because Bitcoin always recover.

You use crypto to pay for the services on those sites that you mentioned?  Do you like the experience?  Like speed, fees, exchange rate, etc.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Does too many altcoins pose a threat to Bitcoin?
« on: November 07, 2018, 04:38:06 PM »
Bitcoin alone cannot fulfill the goal of the Blockchain technology. There is more to the Blockchain than what we know today. As the years go by, new coins will be created in an attempt to bring new solution to a problem in our society. Each altcoin has its goals, product and idea it sells.

I don't think they pose a threat, and many people will invest in more than once coin anyways.  So bitcoin holders can also have a ton of other alt coins.

Cardano Forum / Re: Is Cardano capable of surpassing Ethereum?
« on: November 07, 2018, 04:36:31 PM »
If it can offer what ether can, I don't see why not.  I don't think etherium's dominance for ICO's is as solidified as bitcoin dominance over other crypto coins.  If something performs better and is cheaper to send, than it has lots of potential.

Bitcoin is still young and new in the system. Most people have not heard about it and with the few that have heard about Bitcoin, about half of them are living with lot of misconceptions about Bitcoin because of the false news coming from the media, governments and banks. A lot of work geared towards awareness creation need to be done in order to take the actual and beneficial concept of Bitcoin to the people.

Unified payment solution for bitcoin, that is not directly linked with traditional institutions, would help it a lot for day to day use.  Debit system for crypto, and store owner gets cash, just like they do from traditional debit card.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: The state of Bitcoin after several years
« on: November 07, 2018, 04:32:15 PM »
The story of Bitcoin up to date should tell each crypto user that the ideology of Bitcoin is a revolutionary one and has come to make positive change in our lives. It started as cheap as it was used to purchase candies, pizza, ice cream etc by some people who never understood the concept and significance. Bitcoin is now selling at $6500 within 9 years. This is incredible and it means the future holds greater values for Bitcoin. Keep believing!

Indeed very amazing price increase.  Traditional currencies are only steady temporarily, while things are good.  Major problems in the country as a whole, and that money can be next to worthless.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you also nag over the red market?
« on: November 07, 2018, 04:30:48 PM »
I can also say the market is green again. This is the trend of crypto market, days of reds and days of greens. Why do people pay much attention to the days of red and complain a lot? It requires patience to wait for the green days. Red days are even the best times to buy more valuable coins at very cheap prices instead of worrying and complaining about the market situation.

I love the red days, because it feels like I'm getting more coin.  Also if the price used to be higher, but lower now, I have the confidence that it will be back up there again.

Rebranding has been done on several occasions yet most people still holds misconceptions about Bitcoin. These people thrive on the false news coming from the governments. The best way to curb this trend is to perform effective awareness creation using every media channel. Spread the actual concept and benefit of Bitcoin to the people.

I think most people still have that image of black market origins of bitcoin, with the silk road or whatever it was called.  If they see good news, and if payment processors start accepting bitcoin, that will change.

Another December bull run, this has been the anticipation of all crypto investors because the bear market has been a long standing one after striking early of this year, 2018. What ever happens, crypto is still crypto and we must continue to believe in this revolutionary technology because the market has all the capabilities of rising up to incredible huge prices.

Yeah I noticed litecoin went up a little bit.  Hopefully the bull is back, and will take us all the way up.  I know a lot of people are getting bored with the price movement lately, so might re spark some interest in crypto.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you care how advanced a coin is?
« on: November 07, 2018, 04:24:20 PM »
From the topic, I will say yes, I consider how advanced the technology of a coin is. Before I invest in any project, I must be convinced about the project.

Anything specific features you are looking for?  Do you like security coins over contract ones?

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why do we need Bitcoin As a payment?
« on: November 04, 2018, 01:22:37 AM »
Today in our rather advanced country there is a large number of payment options. For example: Credit cards, payment processors, telephone and mobile payments, money transfers and much more... So why do we need Bitcoin as a payment?

Someone else has the money in traditional banking options, and with crypto a piece of paper with a code on it can have millions of dollars.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin?
« on: November 02, 2018, 04:12:26 PM »
Do you think Bitcoin price will increase?
Do you believe in Bitcoin?
Is it good time to buy Bitcoin?

Nope, I don't hold bitcoin, I prefer a few alt coins instead.  Kinda been ignoring bitcoin to be honest.  But I am trying to be aware of it price in general, as an early indicator for other coins.

For this question I prefer ETH. Most of the token in cryptocurrencies are choice ether platform and they depend on ether platform. This coin is most reliable and price going up  soon.

While I prefer dogecoins myself, ether does make the most amount of sense in terms of safety and growth.  It is a strong and highly sought after coin, and is used by many ICO's.

The future of altcoins is great. I do not see it dying in the next 5 years. Same was said about the internet when it invented and today half the world's population use it and our life so much depend on it. There are very good projects that are teaching kids about cryptocurrency and one of such is the Pigzbe project
More info: https://www.pigzbe.com

I agree, and as virtual reality gets better and more dominant, the digital assets will make the most amount of sense to use in virtual worlds.  What could be a better fit.

Economics , Sociology & Politics / Re: Impact on politic
« on: November 02, 2018, 04:06:19 PM »
usually in each country it experiences peaceful and sometimes rowdy politics, whether when a rowdy politics will affect bitcoin and cryptocurrency

Of course, political climate has a great effect on the price.  Eventually everyone will give in and allow crypto, and the age of crypto will blossom.
