Visa's argument that transaction made by bot isn't organic somewhat makes sense to me. Although i also feel they said that since they want to reassure that Visa remain more popular option. Your opinion is greatly appreciated.

I fully agree since there is no arguing with facts presented by Visa and Allium. Though, of course, this can be self-serving since Visa is presenting this to make its own platform get a better limelight as many of us might be thinking and assuming that stablecoins can soon be replacing what Visa and similar outfits are providing. However, it should be noted that the replacement can be coming but it may not be happening soon. The market that Visa and Mastercard, for that matter, are occupying is quite so huge and it can take a lot of years and yes even decades for them to fall down in grace.

Now, Freewallet can now already be categized as an international scam having victimized many people from different countries. I am really hoping that there can be wide investigation on the matter and those people responsible for siphoning valuable digital assets can be brought to court and face the crime they committed. People who are long users of the wallet am sure bestowed a lot of trust and confidence on the said platform and then suddenly the wallet betrayed them especially when their wallet already contained high value of digital coins. We should be making unrelentless follow-up on this matter so victims can see the justice they deserved. I am not a victim of Freewallet but I am sympathizing with these people who are innocent. Surely, this is another blackeye for the cryptocurrency industry and one that must stop as soon as possible!

To have victimized so many people out of their hard-earned digital assets, I am sure that the evil people Freewallet are actually good on what they are doing and they are following a plan on what to do from time to time. I am glad to see that now Freewallet is exposed as it should be, just another scam bug that the cryptocurrency industry must never have a place to do business with. I have never heard Freewallet before and I am glad that am not one of its crying and angry victims. We need to tell the world on Freewallet and the things that it has done so no new people will be added on the victim list. I will be posting this on my social media accounts so we can spread this warning against Freewallet.

I am not so surprised with this analysis as we know that the government is really targetting the cryptocurrency industry and its related business for specific charge against money laundering for the purpose of "killing" it as they hate the industry so much. Cryptocurrency is representing something the government can not control and understood well so they are trying lawfare campaign to somehow influence its growth potential as more and more people are getting interested with it. I am sure that there will be more expose along this line as years will go by. And who knows there will come a time when a class action suit can be launched against the government whom we elected to serve us, in the first place.

This is millions worth of assets, so why hurry to verify? I usually check the first, middle and last part of my address, and before sending, I scan both addresses for verification. I usually take 5 minutes, and when I'm 100% sure that's the time that I'm going to send the funds, the sender may not even be aware of that scam method, so he was comfortable sending it.

I am sure that at the time the owner of the wallet was then confident of what he did. He never thought that something like this can happen to him and he'll be a part of the victim statistic. One thing for sure is that he was identified as someone with millions of digital assets hence there was really an operation targeted to his end. This is one thing that one should be careful with when you already have millions on your wallet as you don't know that a sophisticated malware can be residing in your gadget and is just waiting for the right time to attack. I am sure there are now also advanced program that can thwart an address poisoning attempt so if you are already a digital millionaire better get one and still be safe always.

To be honest on this matter, Democrats are more of an enemy to the whole cryptocurrency industry, at least compared to Republicans. Many of them actually do not have a comprehensive grasp of the industry and the positive impact that this industry can create if allowed to bloom with minimum government interference. Yet a lot of these Democrats were actually beneficiaries of the "kindness" of SBF by donating millions to their election coffers. I could not imagine what can happen to crypto if both the House and the Senate are controlled by Democrats. I am hoping that the White House will welcome back Donald J. Trump in January 20 and that both legislative bodies can be controlled by Republican lawmakers as the election in November is getting nearer. I am looking forward that a better and more viable regulatory framework can be established in the second term of Trump as he is known to be more open and friendlier to crypto than the senile Joe Biden who could not even define cryptocurrency and Bitcoin is.

One of the many things Trump is known for and one that endear many people to his side is his entertaining way of criticizing Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee and his main rival in the coming November presidential election which is surely going to be an epic fight between two old men where one is still kicking and the one is obviously suffering from dementia. Surely, I have never heard Joe Biden talk about cryptocurrency and his many plans for the industry as he is mostly represented by salty Gary Gensler. Now, I am assuming that the cryptocurrency industry in USA is now seeing that Trump is a lot friendlier to it than Biden and I already see a post detailing why Trump can be better for cryptocurrency if he will win in November. In the end, may the best man win for the most stressful job in the world, the presidency of the United States of America.

...do you think the school has the sole responsibility in educating the young ones with a gambling addiction as they have the capability and knowledge about gambling education since they are educators?

In my perspective, educating the young people most especially students should primarily fall on the hands of the parents but the school system can help by including this in the curriculum most especially in values formation and in fact in today's era it is not just gambling that parents must be concerned about as all forms and types of vices and destructive habits are promoted all the time online and even offline, for that matter. Parents and educators should be working in partnership to sway our youth not to be trapped by gambling. Right now, it is unfortunate that the government allowed the advertising of gambling apps in national TV which should have never been allowed just like tobacco products. There is no question that modern gambling operators are targeting the young people as they are using young and popular celebrities as endorsers. I am sure that years from now we can see the many side-effects of letting these gambling options be opened to anyone with smartphone and some money to spare.

It's unexpected good news, although i hope all of it actually goes to the FTX victim. After all, the victim gain some stress and spend decent time to fill report of their losses. Your opinion is greatly appreciated.

This is surely a very positive twist in the FTX collapse saga and one thing that can make the people who lost in there be smiling and can be looking forward to get their invested money back for good. At the same time, this can mean that FTX has now a good chance to survive and rebuild itself in the cryptocurrency exchange business without the chaotic and mismanagement of its founder, the famous and incarcerated Sam Bankman-Fried. This is a solid evidence of how big of a financial empire FTX was and how unfortunate that SBF became the agent of its rise and downfall. Under good hands - people who will eventually take over FTX and make it kicking and profitable again - this can go down as one of the most amazing and astonishing comeback story in the world of cryptocurrency - and for the sake of the people who got ensnared by FTX am hoping I could be right.

I can feel that this Agridex will be a good blockchain-supported project with the goal of tokenizing agricultural commodities as part of the greater movement for promoting Real World Assets (RWA) which is representing solid, real and verifiable value compared to the usual memecoins and shitcoins we are encountering in the world and market of cryptocurrency. The time has come for the blockchain, cryptocurrency and similar technologies to be working to make agriculture leap into the modern era that we are now...as it seems to me that this very pivotal sector for humanity's survival is left in the corner lacking the necessary innovations to make a very productive and profitable industry for the sake of millions of farmers all over the world and the consumers they are serving everyday. I have a farmer's heart and this is one one thing I wanna involved with into my old age...and I know the sad plight of farmers and the support they are needing. Let's hope Agridex can be making big contributions to the farming sector for good.

Reputation, Scams & Phishing / Re: [Scam] Mllxero.io (with L)
« on: May 09, 2024, 02:21:02 PM »

Without reading again with some focus, I thought Mlxero is really the same as Mixero. Indeed, this is an old strategy used again and again to deceive mostly people who have not been exposed to such a trick. In fact, I was victimized by the same thing years before cryptocurrency came into existence when someone copied a buyer's Facebook account with almost the same name and without me looking at it letter by letter I lost around $200 which is already big here in my country. Now, with cryptocurrency and with scammers in abundance, these evil people are using all ways and means to fool people of their hard-earned money. I am happy to see this post so we can forewarn people and they can be aware of this scam. Sadly, Google can easily be fooled by these fake sites...maybe as long they are paying then anything goes.

With all of these complaints against Freewallet, it is good that they should be published here so as to serve as a big warning to its present and prospective users to avoid the said platform like a dangerous abyss where people can lost assets they supposedly own. Claiming to be a provider of "simple and secure wallets" am sure Freewallet has undergone foundational change that can be affecting its reputation, a very important and pivotal currency in today's digital era and cryptocurrency revolution. When people are starting to question their trust and confidence on a certain platform, its future can be doomed if there is nothing concrete can be done to change its trajectory. I am not a user of Freewallet but I always sympathize with people who are deceived by the platform they are depending on to protect them.

The strategy used in this case is not something really new since I heard of similar stories even years ago...what is astonishing here is the amount - $71 million worth of ETH - which is truly staggering and this happened in just one transaction with the deceitfulness of address poisoning attack where the victim was not looking at the entire address where he sent the asset to. This is so sad and I am sure this affected the victim in a profound way as even losing like $1000 can already be gargantuan to me how much more if it can be worth millions. The big lesson here is to see the full address of the recipient wallet to make sure it is correct and not changed somehow.
