What do you think is there a day trader who can make a good profit daily?
I don't know if this is just me, but I think that traders aren't making profit on a daily basis.

What I think is that, they are making thousands of dollars in just a single trade or 2 trades, and that will be enough for them for a week. I mean they aren't making trades on a daily basis, but they are making 1-2 trades on a weekly basis, but those trades are giving huge profits for them. Of course that thousands of dollars that I said will only happen if you have tens of thousands of dollars in your trading account.

Like you, I also think that way, so I tried as well with futures trading, and I lost my money doing it. From there, I realized that expert traders might not be focusing on the number of trades, but the amount of profit that they can get in every trade. Quality over quality as they say. 1 trade with a profit of $1000 would be better than making 10 traders with lesser profit. More trades = more stress as well.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Don't be in a Rush
« Last post by $crypto$ on Today at 03:22:52 PM »
Trading is not about making us rich in a short time, in fact trading if done in the wrong way will cause us to experience financial problems in the end.

Actually, there is no way that we can get rich quickly, so I am a little surprised when there are people who think that by trading they will be able to get rich in a short time.

Trading is not as easy as it seems, we are required to have in-depth knowledge about what we are doing, in this case trading.,

This is the point which everyone cannot understand and rushes towards the success through trading but they don't know that trading is also very risky and as it gives you profit then it can also create negative situations through which you will lose.

We cannot get rich immediately and if we want immediate richness then for it we will not use our talent but we will use our greed which should be forbidden in every step of life. Sometimes traders learn after the first trade and they start to think that trading is quick rich technology but during every trade it does not happen.

Trading is not easy but is assumed to be an easy field by most of the people as one has not worked hard for it and due to this wrong concept they also do not give time to learning and lose everything due to the carelessness.
Well, maybe that's what differentiates trading from other jobs. We may just sit quietly while looking at the monitor, but our brains will work hard to be able to analyze the market well.

This is not just a job description that we already know what we have to do, but this is something that requires us to be able to predict what will happen in the future with the market movements we are seeing. And there are also many factors that we have to study, which factors can influence price movements.

Recently found such joke in the internet - bullrun will start in 4 months, when CZ gets out of the jail. I am not saying that current price drop is related to sentence he was given recently, but like it is said: «each joke has part of truth in it». Just my imagination - CZ gets out of the jail, he will be totally free men that has repaid his debt, he still has a lot of money and reputation. If he decides to create something crypto related, it will be boom on the market.
I don’t think that one person is capable of doing this. Despite the reputation and means that he has, the problem is that a boom happens when you do something new. Perhaps it will be possible to do something local that will improve his financial situation nothing more. But perhaps I I'm wrong.

Wont creating Binance 2.0 with new benefits, rules (so he wont get into jail again), followed by a exchange token, create a boom in the industry? What if decides to create a DEX with all features Binance (CEX) have. I am sure that if he does something this with IPO, only lazy crypto enthusiast will not invest in it. I am not a big expert, but I think that when such big crypto figure gets released from custody, he will come up with something new. At least I think he wont stay silent and unnoticed.

   -     I'm not familiar with Block Inc. However according to the articles, there is a violation of this block, a transaction with a terrorist group. That's not very good. There was a transaction that the government did not know about. In short, the US government is bypassed.

Block used to be called Square. Square was the financial payments company created by Jack Dorsey while he was CEO of Twitter. They invented Cash App (or bought it?) so if you have heard of Cash App, then that is the app that Block currently owns, and they are being investigated because some transactions in Cash App are violating sanctions, money laundering, etc.

Apart from all the could, can possible in that article there is one thing that really made me raise some eyebrow

Quote
Michaël van de Poppe, founder of trading firm MNTrading, suggests that Bitcoin’s dominance may have peaked as traders begin to shift liquidity to altcoins. Crypto trader Matthew Hyland echoed this, highlighting that Bitcoin market dominance is losing major support.

WTF is this guy smoking, Bitcoin is all over the news and there is like no talk about altcoins whatsoever, everything is about Bitcoin, Bitcoin ETF, bitcoin bonds, approval and regulations, no coin is coming even close to the spotlight and he thinks that altcoins are driving the market. One hiccup from the king and everyone is in red but lol, Bitcoin is losing dominance. Good luck keeping the market in the green with PEPE.

Gambling discussion / Re: what is the impact of gambling on students?
« Last post by bitbit97 on Today at 03:15:01 PM »
Yeah gambling can actually have a disastrous impact on a student's life, both academically and socially.
When a person becomes too used to gambling and suddenly develops the inability to control their emotions when gambling, then addiction sets it, and gambling addiction comes with a lot of things, from financial problems to mental health problems and then social problems and so many more, and if a student (regardless the age or level of education) starts to develop these symptoms, then it will definitely become veey harmful for them because they won't be mentally balanced to be able to do on the academic activities.

This happens only in some parallel universe. Among millions of students how many are really gambling addicted? Several thousands? That is nothing in matter of statistics. Students are busy doing all kind of stuff, and I doubt that many focus so much on gambling, that it has a significant impact on their study and grades. As you make an imaginary chain of what can happen in future gambling>addicted gambling>bad grades>expelled>low paid work>no future>health problem, then there is no use to go out from the house at at all because, for example, you can get hit by car, robbed, object can fall on the head and etc.

Leave students alone. That is their first experience of grown-up life. Let them have their own experience, bad and good. Let them do their own mistakes and solve them. Otherwise we will have army of «mama’s boys» .

Well, I was a university student when I started gambling, the truth is it was very Exciting, yes it can be like an addiction, but you have to know how to treat things, when they are underage students things change, now they can't. It is taken the Same because the game is always a great temptation , minors are something else, it is something that is not allowed to enter or anything like that, that is something that already escapes the normal parameters, but in another since being a student You can take advantage of everything, of course that's how I see Things, it's much better when you learn to have control, whether you are a student or not, because it is an indication of the type of Professional you will be in the face of any adversity.

How you managed not to turn crazy on gambling? I know one of the reasons - as you became an adult (I suppose all university students are 18+), you got official access to lots of things that you werent allowed to do, test or have when you were underaged. I may only predict, but I think you focus on things was spread. What I say that you were not focused on studying and gambling only. Which means gambling industry will have to really try to get you addicted. Am I right ?

Bitcoin Forum / Re: [Edu] Bitcoin Wallet UTXO and Consolidation V2
« Last post by NotATether on Today at 03:12:52 PM »
Thanks for this wonderful illustration tutorial. I've been hearing about this sparrow wallet for a long time; it's recommendable. Although I believe that's why I probably just got used to electrum, But since you did this, I decided to download this sparrow wallet.

This UTXO, I can read it, and because of the explanation you made, it adds a little clarity to me, so I will repeat it. Thanks for the information you provided.

Electrum wallet also have this features now except for Dustin attack feature ( can't verify this ) but I've only seen this feature on Wasabi wallet. You can't prevent Dustin attack on Sparrow wallet and Electrum but you can manage it using the coin control feature to freeze unwanted Dustin attack.

I have a topic on this.

(if this was a double post then excuse me)

A really dedicated wallet would allow you to edit the UTXO set of your wallet and basically delete or otherwise blacklist the really small dust outputs so that they do not get spent. While I have not seen any wallet offer this feature (I have not and will never use Wasabi), it doesn't seem too hard to implement given that transaction fees in BTC are constant. So maybe just 1000 sats. Or if the halving makes the price cycle go up again then the limit can be made customizeable.
