Many have replied in this thread that Monero is a safe and good privacy coin, but what does privacy mean? Isn't every cryptocurrency private? So it can't be seen by others, only those who have the private key can access the coin. Or what is the simple difference between Privacy coins?
As a matter of facts, Monero being a privacy means that it's transactions are untraceable from one user to another. Monero coin sent from different wallets, for instance, the records of these transactions can't be traced to the receiver. Most people like doing business transactions in private, and this is one of the reasons the privacy coins like Monero, Zcash, Dash came on board the crypto space.
As may you know, these privacy coins are no longer popular as it was in the last 6 years is because most governments of the world hated private transactions, and they are clamping down on them especially in the US. France, UK etc.
