Now, it has dropped futher, I think this is because most memecoins are now getting launched on sol network and reasonable projects are getting launched on Ethereum network. Hopefully, low gas price will be due to an upgrade on the network instead of usage. But it's okay now as I spend less on gas fee. The ETH I bought on Bitget are still left in my wallet for months now due to mess fee.

Ethereum will Explode and that will be the start of altcoins season.. Normally, I'm not a type who hold much Ethereum just to prevent my self from wasting it on memecoins. But I mostly use it for fees and get more with Bitget's smart portfolio which I'm also still gonna be using for fees if needed cos I hardly sell ETH.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Reason why you hold Ethereum
« on: Today at 02:32:59 AM »
I Mostly use Ethereum for transactions and that's why I hold. However, I sometimes send some to exchange to get more from other coins with Bitget smart portfolio. That when I see that those altcoins have pumping potential and I will need more ETH. Instead of buying more ETH, I pair with altcoins.. Although, It doesn't work out as expected everytime but most time.

I invest, I trade and I gamble. Lol. Most time, I invest on strong altcoins and Trade top coins..
I gamble with low cap shitcoins and I mostly lose money doing all these.. Although, I made profits in few especially when I used Bitget smart portfolio. But so far, I'm at loss.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Opt for the safest exchange?
« on: Today at 02:20:32 AM »
I've been using Bitget for approximately two years now and there is no Error so far also. Ive also seen that it's one of the safest fastest growing exchange. So I had to stick to it.

Fortunately, Bitget exchange continues to support P2P trading for my country, which is why I have remained with them as my go-to platform.
How did Bitget manage to offer you their service if other services/platforms are blocked? How did your government do the blocking process? Is it simply blocking the website, or do they stop offering services to your country due to government pressure? If it is the latter, I guess we can only wait until Bitget becomes the next target. Quite surprising to hear that bigger services are not available but you can access Bitget P2P service just fine. What about Bisq? Or maybe I'm out of the loop and Bitget is the hype for P2P nowadays?

I think sometimes, when government threatened an exchange with some laws or something. They always get to abide by the government rules.. Maybe Bitget was able to follow some rules so as to be able to continue thier operation for P2P. I don't really know. But they might be the next as you have said. But who knows?
I check the news daily and it doesn't seems like something like that will happen.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: are you joining GME?

sad to see i'm not on bitget actually. i would love to ride, i think this trend they started will go a long way probably til next year. i'm hoping the trend will also drag the rest of the tokens up.
You can still sign up and buy GME if you feel like it. It dipped now and let me say 60% of my limit orders got filled. You know when a coin/stock goes up, people will take profits and some will panic sell at a loss. I'm hoping for the rest of my orders to get filled, if not, I'm okay with what I have.

Nice idea but accumulation shouldn't has happened on the exchange, do it on your own wallet, the one you can control and have power over. An exchange like Bitget is not even popular, if they disappeared today, you will have no where to run over to but keeping your coin on your personal wallet or in a hardware wallet will help you secure your Bitcoin.

You can use Electrum if you decide to keep only Bitcoin, this software wallet is the best and you can create one offline so your private keys don't get vulnerable to scammers.

Yeah, the best is to use hardware wallets. Although, I use non-custodial wallets for now. And will try check Electrum.
Also Bitget is a porpular exchange with 1.3 million followers on Twitter, there proof of reserve is massive and according to the data from SimilarWeb in April, the web traffic to most of the cryptocurrency exchanges has decreased compared to March except Whitebit and Bitget, with Bitget leading at 11%.

So, I feel safe a bit but not keeping on my assets on an exchange as you've said.

What about esport then? All those DotA, Counter-Strike and sport related video games. People really spend lot of time training, have competitions with prizes, champions. If you google the word sport, you will get Sport is a form of physical activity or game. Often competitive and organized, sports use, maintain, or improve physical ability and skills. Perfect description of what people do behind pc or console while playing. If we measure sport that is something where physical activity is used, then they use finger muscles and get tired to play. Also a 100% hit.

Sports are physical activities. Video games don't make you get tired physically nor require strength or physicality. You can't get injured from playing video games.
The difference is clear.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What Happened To Bitcoin?
« on: May 16, 2024, 02:43:49 AM »
I actually do all of my transactions in bitcoin and never buy or sell any, as I don't have the means to do so. So it's out of necessity, really. It is quite limiting but that was the way it was intended to be used.
My country is starting to ban P2P as well. But my exchange still supports it. And you are right. That was the way it was intended to be used, and using it that way seems to affect fiat currency a lot. Maybe that is one of the reasons why my country has decided to start going against P2P.

The principle of buying coins is that they have potential and, if possible, when the price is corrected, you will get the cheapest price. Even if not, it can still be used as an investment.
Yes when price is corrected one get cheap coins easily. I mostly use smart portfolio on my exchange to buy Bitcoin at low price also.. And sometimes, to take profit from some memecoins to Bitcoin. The space requires a good experience at times..

I do. Liquidity Mining, Airdrops, stakkng, tesnet airdrops and I use Bitget smart portfolio to take profit from some coins to automatically buy another.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What Altcoins Do you have?
« on: May 16, 2024, 02:29:43 AM »
I just buy different kinds of altcoins. These days, I mostly buy memecoins and I was lucky to make 10x from my Mog purchase. I actually noticed it after Bitget listing, I bought and it went crazily.

14
Now governments are banning P2P in Nigeria. But some exchanges still support thier currency. Binance, OKX and some exchanges stop supporting Nigerians currency on there P2P platform but Bitget and some other Exchanges still does. Nigerian government are really trying to stop crypto trading.

15
P2P trading is the only exchange service I utilize to buy with fiat, as most platforms' P2P offerings have been blocked in my country. Fortunately, Bitget exchange continues to support P2P trading for my country, which is why I have remained with them as my go-to platform.
