EtherDelta is a decentralized trading platform. That means there's no central party holding your funds. You and only you control your deposit and whether you want to trade with it or withdraw.

Decentralization makes the utilization of the services of exceptionally talented people.  We have people coming out with different ideas for coin creations of which we have over 1000 coins. This will not have been possible in our society where we have the central bank and government .

decentralized means that not one single entity has control over all the processing
