I think that if a project like ethereum dies, then the projects which using its protocol will simply go to another blockchain, or even create their own, because there are no more problems with this now.

even though nothing is impossible, eth could die, but I'm not sure if eth dies but another coin that uses the eth platform is still alive,
because eth already has high trust in investors, and many people like it.
so it's very small the possibility of eth die, or even eth dies but other coins are still alive.
