I don't feel comfortable criticising a colleague but neither do I feel comfortable when I see such obvious mistakes. It seems that Gyrgen, apart from not having realised that the review has to be published here and not in the signature campaign thread, has also not realised that when we joined the campaign we committed ourselves to test the service, and that is not just accessing the website to see what it is like, but to try it out.

Even if you don't see the need to use it, you can do it just by using 0.001 BTC and you will only spend the miner's fees and between 1% and 3%. It is very cheap to try it out, fulfil the commitment and support the service you are advertising, even if it is only once.

Halving is here guys, and I believe it will be a first-time experience for individuals who entered into Bitcoin/crypto less than four years ago.

This is my third halving experience, started crypto in 2016, my first halving experience was in 2017/2018, and second experience was in 2020/2021, but in all, this seems to me like it's the first halving experience 😅, and this is because, I failed to utilize the opportunity of my first halving experience to make some money for myself, I am also failed in the second as well, and here I am experiencing the third halving, looking like I've been blind all through since 2016 and just received my sight in 2024.

But, there's a little difference, I received my sight regarding crypto's beneficial part in 2021 and you in 2024. Other than that most of our experiences seem similar.

Lol, I guess the reason you received your sight before me was due to the fact that I took a long break from crypto in mid 2017, and came back in early 2020 during the covid-19 lock down.

Yeah, a part of the full story is that, I started my crypto journey in 2016, and by mid 2017, I made some good money from airdrops, and due to my still limited knowledge of how crypto really works, I decided to use that money to start a business and leave crypto, so I began a business and completely forgot about crypto, during the covid-19 lockdown in 2020 when several business crashed for several reasons, I become interested in making money online again, and that was how I turned back to crypto.
I started learning about crypto all over again and here I am today.

I'm happy that we were and are part of UniJoin's campaign during and after this halving event, and that's also a similar experience for both of us.

I also somehow left crypto forums for a few years due to my education and some other family matters, and I got interested in it again during the Covid-19 lock down. I don't know how, but our story is almost similar, hope we both will continue to be part of the crypto community for long-term this time.

Not only are mixers affected by this chaos with high fees, but also many businesses with "small" payments. Bitcoin has become unusable as a payment method again. This is BS.

Well, let's not get overly pessimistic either. Right now fees have dropped below 100 sats/vByte, so it looks like the craze around halving is going to be a one-off. With the new Runes protocol I guess we will have other spikes but we will soon be back to business as usual.

This is not pessimistic, but reality. For several days now, in many cases, the Bitcoin network has been unusable, and this is not the first time. a couple of times the fee came back below 100 sat/vb, but that's only a couple of blocks.
Just imagine that this forum is unavailable for 5-10 days and that it is only available to those with ultra-fast internet.

I honestly will agree with you completely, it's hard to say but right now, I am not pleased at all with the happenings on the bitcoin network, I feel like my money saved in bitcoin is currently trapped as I can't move it out of my wallet to take advantage of some present opportunities without having to pay a huge fine as fees; most time, the estimate is even way higher than my entire worth of my bitcoin portfolio, it's really insane and drives me nuts at times, and I think what really makes the situation so worst is due to the fact that there are no usable or available alternatives, aside just waiting and hoping that the network comes back to normal and the fees return back to being low for average bitcoin users.

I found it particularly interesting and well written. This paragraph in particular is very relevant:
