I also may want to liquidate it one day and can not seem to find a USA based exchange that will let me trade it.

https://www.coinbase.com/converter/grin/usd

Coinbase have option to trade Grin for USD, not sure is there any crypto pairs available at the moment on any other US based exchange.

Definitely coinbase can be trusted with even huge volume to convert.

Okay, this might sound biased  ;D, but don't you guys think staking in launchpools is better than normal staking nowadays? I used to stake Tron back in the day, but the rewards were so low that the fees to redeem them would eat up the profits entirely :o

With launchpools, I've used BGB, BNB, and USDT, and I've always gotten good returns on the new tokens being launched  :). I've received a bunch of tokens from projects like ZKF, ENA, and GRAPE by staking BGB. Best part? The APR rates were crazy high since ZKF went all the way up to 329%! I don't think you'll find APRs like that with normal staking (or maybe you can, but it's gotta be rare  :-X).
And also, I don't know if you've heard, but there is a recently introduced PoolX product that works similarly as launchpool but with key differences. The biggest difference is you earn rewards hourly. Here's a image between exchanges staking comparsion:

You can even redeem your rewards easily and unstake instantly since there's no locking period. This means lower risk than launchpools. I think this is a unique way to stake up tokens rather than normal staking with lower risks.

Anyway, I trust your judgment ;D – you guys know best. So, what's your take: launchpools or normal staking? Which has been better for you?

Secrets of success on the American stock market

Snapchat (#Snapchat) shares surged by 27% to $14.5 per share, following the post-market trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Friday, April 26. And they continue to climb this week:

Several factors contributed to this rapid growth:

  • Demand for Snap shares increased after the release of financial results. Snap noted that its business is growing faster than expected, thanks to the update of its advertising system and higher demand for features that help brands increase sales or clicks on websites.
  • In the first quarter, the number of daily active users (DAUs) grew by 10% to 422 million. According to StreetAccount, analysts expected 420 million users. Snap also expects to generate revenue of $1.23 billion in the second quarter, higher than analysts' expectations ($1.22 billion).
  • The company's revenue per user increased on a yearly basis for the first time since the beginning of 2022, reflecting the recovery of the advertising market and Snap's efforts to revive growth, said Morningstar analyst Michael Hodel.

Simultaneously with Snapchat's success, Tesla (#Tesla) shares began to soar sharply on news that Elon Musk, during his visit to China, reached an agreement with the Chinese technology giant Baidu (#Baidu). The companies will collaborate in the field of mapping and navigation, allowing Tesla to use its Full-Self Driving (FSD) software in China for fully autonomous driving. As a result, the electric car manufacturer's shares rose by 7.98% to $181.72 in pre-market trading on April 29.

Google (#Google) also made headlines by announcing its market capitalization. The market cap of Alphabet, Google's parent company, exceeded $2 trillion for the first time, reaching $2.15 trillion. According to TradingView, Alphabet now ranks fourth in the world by market capitalization. It is surpassed only by Microsoft (#Microsoft) with a market cap of $3.02 trillion, Apple (#Apple) with a market value of $2.61 trillion, and NVIDIA (#NVIDIA), whose market capitalization is $2.19 trillion.

And we remind you that the shares of these companies and many others are available for trading in our trading terminal. Still hesitating where to invest? FreshForex analysts have repeatedly pointed out the prospects for gold and bitcoin, and the forecasts have come true. And now is the time to invest in the fund. Earn with us!

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trading is not same thing as Gambling
« Last post by Litzki1990 on Today at 05:45:17 PM »
I keep seeing this type of comparison all the time and everywhere. I think its quite obvious that they are not the same but for some reason it must be "feeling" same to some people. If you are not using TA or FA, if you are not reading the charts, if you are not putting your entire trading knowledge into each trade, then yeah you may feel that way. Still doesn't mean its gambling, but a newbie just randomly picking something may feel a little bit like a gambler. I believe that as long as we get to just have a positive return or at least potential to it, the lack of house edge alone makes it quite possible for you to be fine.

Its true, any activity where a newbie jumps in and just hopes for the best can feel a lot like gambling. Its about luck for them at that point kind of like playing the lottery. If you're not looking at charts or putting your knowledge to work I can totally see why it might feel more like a gamble. But processes that you can control or predict more than 80% can hardly be considered random
A beginner just relies on luck because they don't have the knowledge to do research and make analysis, it's natural that in the past I just looked for news and followed my friends' steps when I was a beginner. And after that, just start learning to do research, this is a process. so it takes time to become a great investor or trader
Newbies don't have much idea about this so they can't think and trade like experienced traders. But now as there are many mediums of learning so a new trader should first learn about trading well and then engage in trading. Maybe a new trader can start trading with a demo account first and practice there. With a small amount of money, if he applies practically, he will get a rough idea of the business and he can gradually learn from the rough idea and continue his trading well as he learns. Risk must be taken because if there is no risk then we will always have that fear and we will never gain proper knowledge about trading.

There is no pump and dump in the market rather it has been moving sideways that is to say, market has been swinging between 60k to 67k since it finally achieved 73k as ATH we have never seen serious dip again neither do we see much rise above the previous ATH. We might likely see pump from ending of this year or mid next year.

As you can see, there is a couple of bad news on the market at this moment and the entire crypto market has been going down for the last five days. It's all because of the ETF outflow five days in a row. The bad news is about CZ and I hope we all know about that. The other bad news is Russian crypto bans. I don't remember how many times Russia announced bad cryptocurrency but I am sure this is not the first time. We have touched the 56K range already after that bad news hitting the market. This was a good opportunity for all of us to buy a little more. But, some analyst says we might go into a bear market if Bitcoin breaks the 57K support.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Do professional traders lose money?
« Last post by Litzki1990 on Today at 05:33:45 PM »
That's right, just because someone is an expert in something doesn't mean they will always be right about everything related to that, so even if someone has a lot of expertise about the cryptocurrency market, their predictions wouldn't always be correct because the market is unpredictable, and many times, it moves in directions that weren't expected by anyone in the market.

The recent dip in Bitcoin's price is a big example of this. A lot of people got liquidated in the dip because they had longed Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies but it fell down and they all lost money, one trader even lost $1.1m during this.
Learned with how many expert in trading of cryptocurrency still selling premium signal group its mean most of them want to earn profit by sharing signal and not confidence with their self consistent earn profit with trading. I don't see any professional of expert in trading not loss yet their money, many unpredictable happening in cryptocurrency when whales make bad or good news suddenly easy for bitcoin raise up and down.
Market unpredictable and spot trading for professional trader get chance loss their money, but when reach an expert level in trading understand well how to minimalize with loss.
I agree, they are professional and have a lot of experience, but that doesn't mean they will avoid losing money. No matter how great they are, I think they still experience unexpected things, considering that the market is very difficult to predict.

They can only minimize risks, not completely avoid risks. and when they experience something undesirable, they will recover more quickly because their mentality is already well formed.
No matter how professional a trader is in trading, he can definitely lose money. When I am sure of something I can guarantee that I will achieve 100% success in it but no matter how experienced a trader is in trading he can never be certain or sure. An experienced trader has no way of saying with certainty that the market will move forward in the way he predicts. Since experienced traders cannot say anything for sure, we have to believe that experienced traders can lose money by trading. But I agree with your point that their money risk is much less because they do enough research on the market and their research is likely to be very accurate. That is why there is a lot of difference between a new trader and an experienced trader and experienced traders can always achieve success in trading.
