ETH has more dependencies which creates a larger ecosystem and financial infrastructure behind it. Monero will grow, but I don't think it will outpace ETH unless ETH takes a very sour turn with Casper.

I believe nothing is impossible, but ETH has a very solid base and many project are base on ETH platform. However, XMR is one of the few coins to actually grow in value and maintain an uptrend.
In a nutshell, it will be very difficult to conclude that XMR will surpass ETH, both Ethereum (ETH) and Monero (XMR) are tipped to do well over the next five years. They are, therefore, good investment opportunities.

It's very to hard to believed that monero can surpass ethereum because ethereum is quite very strong and can't be easily beat by any coins available in the market except for bitcoin which holding the top 1 rank in the cryptocurrency market.

You upset me :( I was hoping XMR would be in demand and widely used in the future. Of course, XMR will cost more ETH. I thought so. Why do you think that XMR can’t get into the top 5?
