Forum related / Re: How to quote from Btt and post it in Altcoinstalk?
« Last post by SamReomo on Today at 10:07:29 PM »
Ahh, neat trick, SamReomo. I did not think of that. Of course, I could have just used a quotation without any links and add the source inside the quotation. Lol, why didn't I think of that?
Thanks for finding it useful. Yes, you could have used the source inside the quotation without any links and yes adding the source would work pretty well. I also had some issues in quoting posts/threads from Bitcointalk and I worked on that for sometime and finally I got those solutions. I'm happy that those solutions were helpful for you.

Anyway, thanks for the trick, it solves the issue. Well at least for now.
You're welcome, now the issue is solved, I believe you should lock this thread to prevent spamming. ;)

If we had also considered this recent bear before the market begin to pump few days from now, some would have sold their asset as a result of dear of missing out, this is what we always use in encouraging newbies that they should not sell when the market dumps because they will loose, i stead they will have to hold and wait till the market pumps just as we are seeing now.

Litecoin Forum / Re: LTC Vs ADA coin.
« Last post by JoyMarsha on Today at 10:03:55 PM »
I chose both of them, even invested in both since last year. Both coins have given me profits and intend to hodl them more till next year, when they give rise to another ATH.

Ada and Litecoin are among the potential coins that if invested in, the investor is sure of the future again.

In the last bull run, both coins made many investors millionaires because they saw the potential in it and bought at a low price. Currently, the opportunity is here again, and many investors are either buying Ada or Litecoin as an additional hodl altcoins they have in their portfolio, so that once the altcoin season starts, they will be among those to make it in crypto

With the "bearish" mood of the Bitcoin market right now just around two weeks after the halving, many are really wondering where is the direction the King of Cryptos can be taking us and whether we can soon see the impact and benefits of the halving come to the market so we can experience a new bull run either this year or 2025. Now, we know that halving will not immediately make Bitcoin a very attractive asset again...and surely this can be taking some months.
~
In case this analysis can be true, then it would be good to just continually hodl and wait as this is not a question of IF but of WHEN. This can be the best time to exercise caution and not be swayed by temporary movements of the market and look for the long-term prospect of Bitcoin.
In previous cycles, BTC price has typically traded sideways for a few months after a halving before resuming its strong growth trend. Therefore, the current price correction and the 20% decline from the $73K peak is completely normal. We should accept this re-accumulation as it is necessary for the bullrun at the end of this year.

I cannot predict the exact time when BTC price could break out and make a new high, but I can only present a case on Elliott wave use count. In this wave count, BTC has gone through the first 3 waves of bigger impulse and is currently in wave 4 - a correction wave. BTC price could be pushed down to Fibo 0.382 ~ $49K or Fibo 0.618 ~ $38K. Timewise: wave 4 could last 100% or at least 61.8% of wave 3, so we should expect the end of wave 4 in early July or September of this year. In a worst-case, we may have to wait until December, and I do not hope this will happen as the bullrun needs to start before investors get frustrated and leave the market.

i've seen TIME, not a very possible move to happen. they could just snatch time from someone's arm which the currency has no security.

...if we are in this kind of situation where the electricity is still on like its normal situation still and internet is accessible, wouldn't it make sense for the warlords to accept BTC and other crypto?

I am going to see where I can watch this supposedly good movie According to Wikipedia: "Civil War is a 2024 dystopian war film written and directed by Alex Garland. It follows a team of journalists traveling across the United States during a civil war fought between an authoritarian federal government and several regional factions." Now, to answer your question, I think the producers and writers of the said movie have never thought of cryptocurrency and that is why they opted for Canadian Dollar. We have to remember that in case there can be a nationwide civil war, the government will not be functional well and central banking can be collapsing so fiat money can be worthless. In case, there can still be electricity (solar option can surely be available unless there is already a nuclear war) and the internet, then money can be Bitcoin and the rest of the crypto gang and there can be some that will introduce war memecoins. Of course, all of these things are just speculative ideas as nobody can be sure of what can happen in case we can experience a big civil war disruption. Let's hope we can never have the bitter taste of a civil war in our lifetime.

what i can think of is that the civil war in the movie is just in the US to which Canada is not affected and their government is still working.  the producers/writers could have picked Mexican Peso assuming the government in the country is more stable but of course they'd pick Canada.

maybe if Canadian government is also a mess and the Mexican government is also getting crazy like they are part of the civil war in the Amerikan continent, i guess this is where we can see crypto will be the option.

Maybe you are posting too fast with a matter seconds gap? I faced this when i'm new here without getting teleported yet as lower ranks have higher gaps posting in between. But now you are a Hero, i guess it still has limitations but only for a few seconds.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: SHOULD I CARE ABOUT BITCOIN HALVING
« Last post by kulkhan on Today at 09:54:32 PM »
Obviously Bitcoin halving is big event for bitcoin history. After bitcoin 4th halving  Bitcoin block reword for mainers reduced before halving bitcoin block reword was 6.25 btc now block reword 3.125 so now mining speech decreased.

So i think after running bitcoin price correction, bitcoin price will increase again. Because we know about supply and demand. So bitcoin price will increase there has no doubt.

Gambling discussion / Re: [NBA] Unofficial Discussion Thread

He was asked in an interview regarding that matter and he refused to answer that question so we can say that he might be thinking really hard this off-season on his basketball career. For me, Lebron still has it to play one or two more seasons before hanging his jersey for good.

If we look at his stats for this regular season, we can see that his numbers aren't much different from what he had in previous seasons. By the way, this season, he averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game. That's impressive because he had the exact same stats nine years ago. So yeah, he can definitely play a couple more seasons or even more if he has the desire.
p.s.
Meanwhile, all remaining first-round playoff series are 3-2. :o
I am a Lebron hater and would love to see him retire. IMO he is bad for basketball and is teaching the younger players to be divas. No point in even hiring a coach for any team he is on becasue he just does what he wants. He also cries for a foul on nearly every bucket he misses. Just play the damn game man.
I'm not a Lebron fan nor a hater of him, but this is the reason why for me, he isn't the GOAT.
During the regular season, many don't know this but he also got a triple-double stats. He is triple double in cries, flops and him being a Le-GM for the team.

Hope you got my point, but that's the truth. He cries a lot with missed calls, he also flops a lot (although this season, it's fewer than the season before this season), and he's using his power too much that it affected the whole team. Just imagine if their roster where they won a title in the bubble remained the same, they might win back-to-back TBH. Anyway, I agree with what you said but not a hater of him, and whatever happens, he will be in the Hall of Fame soon, and many sees him as their GOAT.

In other news, the knicks will likely finish off Philly next game, the Mavs will finish off LA next game, Indy should finish off the Bucks unless Giannis and Dame are back, and its a toss up on Cleveland vs Orlando.
There will be Game 7 between Knicks and Philly, and I believe that Philly will win in Game 6 "IF" Maxey will play the same when they won in Game 5. As for Indiana/Milwaukee, I also believe that the Pacers will end this series in their home, and Giannis will be disappointed again because they didn't became the "competitive" team that he wanted to, but the reality is, they aren't ever since they acquired Lillard and his injury right before the playoff starts also affected the whole team. Cleveland/Orlando is for me the series that I don't watch for unknown reasons. :D
Embiid is fragile and will try real hard in game 6 but will come up short. Maxey won't shoot the lights out like he did in game 5 either. It's over for Philly. If the Knicks would have foulded instead of letting Maxey shoot a 3, the series would already be over.
