Aside the need to build more refineries, which may take time, The government is aware of illegal refineries running underground and mostly striving on refining petroleum products stolen from bunkering and pipeline vandalism. If the government can grant approval to some of these modular refineries to start refining petroleum and selling it will increase competition in the market and force the prices of petroleum products to come down.

I can say with time because if you flashed back 10 years ago the rate of awareness of bitcoin weren't this high and people are fast accepting bitcoin
