Cardano, the world’s seventh largest cryptocurrency by market cap, quietly launched its first smart contract testnet on May 28, 2018, and the developments are tremendously forward thinking.

Building Trust in Blockchain Projects
According to an official release by IOHK, Cardano’s parent organization, the blockchain project launched its KEVM testnet, a “correct-by-construction” version of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), on Cardano’s K framework – a permissioned programming language.

IOHK collaborated with Runtime Verification to build the technology, and the release is the first time the system’s famed semantics have been produced.

It is unclear whether this announcement was in response to Huawei and Sirin Labs, offering their blockchain phone for $1000 in pre-order.

The week beginning May 28 is an exciting one as it is in the period post Consensus but pre-summer announcements. The market has remained stagnant with many altcoins solely riding waves of hype and news higher. As crypto traders intend to remain one step ahead look for them to focus on cryptocurrencies like; ZCL, ANON, EOS, and ONT heading into June.

Ever since Bitcoin was conceived and the mining process began, the cryptocurrency’s popularity has continued to steadily grow. Bitcoin was designed for anonymity and security, but paradoxically there are many vulnerabilities associated with owning cryptocurrency. This may lead to many difficult situations for publicized cryptocurrency owners, as their assets can be easily (and without a trace) stolen from them, via extortion or the loss of their private key.

Blockchain was initially developed as a fiat currency’s digital alternative, but its features soon found practical use in other industries as well.

Decentralized digital ledgers can provide a lot of value to various organizations and entities, especially if they are dealing with some of the most significant issues that plague humankind. Blockchain significantly lowers the costs of trade by developing digital smart contracts which exclude the third parties that are ramping up the prices in traditional ecosystems.
