I have participated in over 100 airdrops since I have been active on both forums. It's easy, filling is the point and waiting, and then, if you wish, you can enter and trade afterwards. The biggest airdrop was $750. Back then, even on the DeepOnion forum, there were a lot of easy airdrops.
Correct me but this is year 2017 to around 2018, right?
That's when ICO's are very popular and so this coin also became popular especially in Bitcointalk.

Anyway, it's good for you that you manage to join that many airdrops in a short amount of time. As for myself, I tried to follow many airdrops a few days ago, but aside from me getting overwhelmed because it's that many, I don't have the extra funds to join on them as well because most of them requires you depositing some money in order to get points that will be exchanged with tokens in the future.

As for my biggest airdrop, it was DYM token. Dymension gave me around 60+ I think, and with its starting price on Binance of $5, I got around $300 for free. Those who staked more got better for sure.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Which indicator do you look out for?
« Last post by hugeblack on Today at 05:37:16 AM »
The indicators are built from historical data and psychological levels, but during the coming months the price may rise to more than 70 thousand dollars, which makes the possibility of predicting the price impossible. Some will try to draw charts and try to set a general direction for the price, but they will all be broken unless we reach ATH and the correction begins.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Will we really see an Ethereum ETF?
« Last post by TomPluz on Today at 05:34:45 AM »
Meanwhile in the parts around Asia in a little place called Hong Kong, they have approved BTC and Ethereum ETFs, not bad
they can start operating from the end of the month so in reality they are not really active if we want

Ethereum ETF has already been approved in the Hong Kong market but as I have read somewhere we should not expect that there can be a big impact for Ethereum as the market in there is not gargantuan compared to the one in USA. And this is the reason why approval in US will be a game-changing for the Ethereum market. Now, the approval will likely be postponed in May but this does not mean it will not be...this is just waiting for the right and appropriate time and that time can extend into 2025, for sure as things are still being ironed out both by SEC and the ETF applicants. Plus we know that SEC can be playing the dilly-dally game so as to project its regulatory power to the whole cryptocurrency industry and this was quite obvious in the BTC-ETF saga. In the meantime, we should take this as a good opportunity to add more ETH to our portfolio as the price right now is very attractive - below $3200 when its right price should have been $4K already.

Bitcoin News & Updates / Re: Buy Bitcoin sign sold for 16BTC
« Last post by hugeblack on Today at 05:33:39 AM »
Fucking hell! A million quid for that paper? That only happens in the USA, which is quite fond of auctions and people are willing to pay a lot of money for extravagances like in this case.  Although I recognise that it had a certain historical importance, with the sign, I personally wouldn't pay a penny for it.

I don't think the proceeds will go to fund Tirrel Corp's development of the Bitcoin Lightning layer, so the higher purchase price may be to reduce taxes or whatever the reason.
It's a good thing it wasn't sold as an NFT or the photo was sold, otherwise it would be too crazy.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Halving likelihood to be in red?
« Last post by TopT3ns on Today at 05:33:00 AM »
I do believe that we are going to be in green for the longest time, its not going to get to become a red for a long time. Not saying that we are never going to see red, it is actually going to be something that will be temporary and not going to get any different because green will be the end result. This should be something that could actually change it. I personally believe that we are going to end up with seeing greater and greater results with coming months in the future, we just need to hold it as long as possible.
The halving was really red as the Op stated it clearly in the topic. And even the mempool was brutally red. But the green has been there before the halving and still on the green till now. And now that the halving is over, everyone is expecting the ATH. And the predicted price of bitcoin in the season is $100k to $150k, but we seen the All Time High. We are all waiting for the greater result that is coming.
That's right, before the halving occurred, many coins had increased in price and bitcoin had also touched a new ATH, so after the halving it looks like we will enter a bearish season where the price of bitcoin will fall slowly. To increase the price to $100k is very difficult and unlikely to happen this year.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Reason why you hold Ethereum
« Last post by Litzki1990 on Today at 05:30:26 AM »
That's right, there are coins that have a greater chance of providing greater profits than ethereum, we can also invest there. but if we compare which one is safer and will provide profits even though it is not as big as other coins, I will choose bitcoin and ethereum as priorities and other coins as alternatives.
I think a coin that has the opportunity to provide greater profits will definitely have a very high risk, I don't dare to make a decision like that because it concerns the capital money I use for trading. So I also prefer to take safe action by buying bitcoin and ethereum as you said.
You are thinking of investing or trading in a coin that has very low reliability but only you see the market of these coins change significantly and because of this change you can make a lot more profit than all other reliable coins. If you think so much about investing then you should think more about investing that investing in all these coins will give you a high chance of profit as well as a chance of losing your capital. If one's capital is not protected then it is surely foolish to think of profiting there.  There is no problem if the profit is relatively low but you need to ensure that your capital is protected first. Hope you think all these thoughts before investing or trading and then decide to invest or trade.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Don't buy bitcoin only because of FOMO
« Last post by TopT3ns on Today at 05:28:40 AM »
DCA using money that is free and untouched by primary needs is the safest way to hold bitcoin or other crypto for the long term. While buying coins we can monitor the market movements of other potential coins. This is what I've been doing all this time.
Exactly, with this DCA method we will unconsciously have a very large amount of bitcoin assets, what we need to do is keep buying bitcoins no matter how much money we have and it won't feel like the number of bitcoins we have will grow a lot.

Signature Campaigns / Re: Altcoinstalks Signature Campaign Observer
« Last post by hugeblack on Today at 05:26:02 AM »
Some of us spotted BestChange on the chat today. I thought they had teleported their account here. But after checking their profile, I have noticed that they have been in this forum since 2018. But they have been active lately. I won't be surprised if they start their signature campaign in this forum as well. I don't know if they had any campaign in this forum or not, but considering the recent activity spike of this forum, it won't be a bad decision to kick off a new campaign.  ;)

I think this is normal, as the service mainly focuses on crypto exchange and BTT signature campaigns in 2017-2020 was different from the current one, as there were various campaigns (CM dominance,) with less interest in crypto exchanges, as ICO IEO hardforks projects were dominant.
It changed at the beginning of 2020, so their campaign there has been continuing since that time, but I do not know whether they had a campaign here in 2017-2020 or not.

I read today that there are many billionaires who have sold shares recently, like Jeff Bezos, for example, who for a while was known for not selling any shares. Saylor's sale fits into this context, then. I don't know if they smell a market ceiling and are selling now because of it.
It's possible that Jeff Bezos knows something that ultimately makes him prefer to secure the assets he owns by selling his shares. Market conditions don't seem to be good because the world economy is collapsing and many wars are starting to occur.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: HODLing Altcoins
« Last post by emmybd on Today at 05:23:52 AM »
Well, you are right. Ethereum and Solana are good altcoins. You can definitely hold them for a long time. They are relatively well established coins. But many other altcoins are not safe for holding long term. So, if you are planning to buy and hold new altcoins then you have to research well about the projects.
