Stellar Forum / Re: little about Stellar coin

Adoption for this coin has been unbelievably slow, hopefully they will find some more use cases for this coin so that it can separate from the pack.

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: Ripple investing
« on: March 31, 2018, 08:43:51 PM »
Ripple is at a Q1 low, why is everyone recommending NOT to buy. You should buy if you have done the research and understand what the utility of this coin is. No a single person on this board can predict market reversal, so invest when you feel comfortable. If prices drop? Then cost average into the investment. If prices moon? Well lucky you, you entered at a good time.

With that being said, there are some other coins with better utility out there, my two cents.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: ETH back to the price ~ $ 300
« on: March 31, 2018, 08:38:59 PM »
I bought in some more ETH yesterday when it dropped below $400. Looks like there is some resistance around this level but unless a reversal starts next week (month of April) t might keep dropping until the summer.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Will Eth price is going up again?

Unfortunately ETH broke the $400 marker today. Let’s hope this goes sideways for a week and not any lower.

Ok, so just be like the 46% of failed ICOs and raise your seed capital and then use it to buy your yacht and cruise with the hottest chick in town.

It’s obvious that with no regulation in 2017, half the ICOs did the above. Now we have a lot of regulations being mulled over to prevent a ‘2017’ from happening again. It’s looking like 2018 will be the year a lot of ICOs will be tested for proof of concept or product or go the way of the dodo. Just do your due diligence and invest in the standout projects.

Hi everyone! Seeing major social media platforms like Facebook, Google, Twitter & co ban crypto advertisement makes you think. Wondering what the long term effects of this will be now. You think it will even have any impact on big players like bitcoin? Might it just hit the new projects particularly hard?  :-\
I am rather happy these platforms are banning at the same time. It will help crypto market in the near future as there will be no source of fud. I wish all possible bans and fuds happen this year. Even if btc drops to $1000, with all the bans and fear created, I have hope that the future of crypto will be bright as haters won;t get any solid ways of causing panic sells on the market.

Unfortunately you can’t stop the main source of public FUD, which is the news outlets, that really affect the general public’s discourse of crypto.

Ethereum Forum / Re: strategy for ethereum
« on: March 25, 2018, 11:12:19 PM »
After toiling hard and accumulating some tangible amount of ETH, what do you plan on doing with it? Is it going to the charity home, for your retirement, purchase a car, buy a house, save for your heir, etc.

I have a much higher % of ETH than BTC only because I think ETH is the future of crypto as it's proven itself to be a strong platform for most blockchain projects. However with time, I'm sure another coin will take the reigns.

As for what I'm doing with ETH, primarily HODLing about 75% of it. The other 25% are being invested into ICOs. The more ETH I buy I keep using the same split for savings and investments.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: How do you earn your coins?

Even with all the due diligence you can provide, ICO investment is still a gamble IMHO. I still invest because there are projects I believe in, but I’ve already been scammed so the risk is definitely out there. Conventional fiat to coin investment is my preferred route and I’m hoping some of these exchange projects actually succeed so that the fiat to altcoin investments can be made easier.

Thanks for the head's up. I have completed the social media tasks and will now work on the referral piece. This company has done a very professional job with their website and campaign. I hope they do well.

You’re welcome! I try my best to vet out all airdrops and ICOs I’m involved in in hopes to maximize chances of successful projects. Good luck!

Hi, just doing some due diligence.

Do you have a whitepaper or team listing? I see the you are also on bitcointalk and stated there was a private sale, what was raised during this seed phase? Some more info would really help the community.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: Ethereum to $2,000?
« on: March 24, 2018, 03:04:57 AM »
I guess ETH will be over $2000 with below topic realized.

- fix the date of Serenity (whenever will be in 2018 or future)
- after G20
- BTC is recovery price of $20,000.

Recovery? That would be an ATH

POS seems to be the best place for passive income. Cents per share, but right now NEO has taken a pretty big hit so I'm going to get a couple more.

Crypto currency Mining / Re: Requirements for mining from single PC
« on: March 23, 2018, 10:26:52 PM »
Are you doing this as a learning experience? Trying to mine, even Altcoins, from a single PC is primarily not profitable. You can honestly mine from an old PC, you would just be using far too much electricity to account for whatever you are trying to mine. Which leads me to...
What are you trying to mine?
Do you have programming experience?
What is your budget to start mining?
