Bitcoin Forum / Re: Too early selling my bitcoin!
« on: July 02, 2019, 01:01:01 PM »
If anything at all I want to spend my coins, not sell them, I am not a coin collector. I bought some pizza and it tasted extra good, just like the coffee of acquafredda Smiley

If the price goes up, it would mean I can spend even more bitcoin and buy more stuff, hooray for consumerism! Also you can invest on btc to bch at good exchange rates now.

It is the dawn of bitcoin, still, so the most people can do is hold and hope or if they are in it for a quick buck buy and sell to make some more.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: MOVED : Best rate for ppc to btc

What do you mean by PPC?
Is that a cyptocurrency token or coin?
This kind of topic has very little information and makes me confused. hmmmp!
PPC is Peercoin
I think it's a cryptocurrency and not a token.
You can look up at coinmarketcap.

Same goes for OP's question. You can look up at that site. Just where the charts show, beside that is the option for 'markets' where all the available exchanges supporting the said coin will show up along with all the available pairs and their prices.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Facebook’s new cryptocurrency
« on: July 01, 2019, 01:30:46 PM »
I don't know about ya'll but I'm not really looking forward to this so called Libra coin. First off, it's not even a cryptocurrency. For a crypto to be one, the underlining feature is to be decentralised, which, Libra clearly isn't. Second off, it needs to be peer-to-peer, which again, Libra isn't. And if some articles are to be believed, we can't even use Libra like a normal crypto! Just use it in the fb or messenger app, idk.
I could go on and on, but anyways

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Could Bitcoin Become a New Global Currency?
« on: July 01, 2019, 01:17:12 PM »
BTC and ETH could become like Dollar and Euro in fiat, why not ;)
This will never happen, because the decentralized cryptocurrency is not secured and has a very high price volatility. Therefore, states in international financial relations will not make extensive use of the decentralized cryptocurrency. Most likely, they will use their own cryptocurrency or stable coins.
Only citizens can use the decentralized cryptocurrency as a global currency.
Yes, your point is valid. But, one can't give up on hope. We can still hope that one day at least it'd be accepted by governments even (as some countries have outright banned the usage of crypto), if not accepting it as a global currency (which does sound far-fetched currently, but might be a possibility in the far future)

I've also heard about bitcoin wallets offline, but I don't really understand how it works, and I've heard that offline bitcoin wallets are very safe.
Yes, indeed they are! You won't find any safer wallet than these offline wallets. The reason lies behind this simple fact:
Online wallets, most of the time, store your private keys. These private keys are actually stored on an online server (which you can imagine how safe it'll be).
The thing with offline wallets is that they store your private keys and don't require to be connected to the internet all the time (for hardware wallets). (For paper wallets, it'll never be connected as it's literally a piece of paper).
As most of the hacks and malware and viruses are transferred over the internet, you won't have to worry about them infecting your offline wallets.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Altcoins will replace BTC

Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency which is rulling on the market everytime.I don't think altcoins will replace btc.

Ripple stand out in a crowd of digital currencies. If these advancements take place, then XRP might reach $1.20 by the end of 2019, to be conservative. At most, it might even reach $2.So this means, the Ripple price prediction should go the positive way. You can convert  btc to xrp at good conversion rates from the exchange.I think it is a good and potential coin for investment. Yes I invest in ripple. I think it gives profit in future.

In recent times, IOTA has been quite stable and doesn't seem to be affected by the bullish surge of bitcoin and the surge in altcoins as well. But it's price is deemed to increase, with the iota price prediction being $4 USD by the end of 2019.

10
As of now, NEO's price is $13.95 USD and if the neo price prediction is to be followed then it might reach $200 USD. That might be record-breaking as its all-time high was $196.85 USD, almost reaching $200, but not quite.

Even if Stellar might be doing well, it doesn't seem like it'll jump from rank 10 to rank 5 within a month. I'm not denying the possibility, just saying that for that to happen, it will take a lot more than just a month. That said, it all depends on Stellar's performance and if the xlm price prediction is to be followed, then it might reach till $0.66 USD by the end of 2019.

EOS price has never varied to a great degree, with the highest price being $22.89 USD and the lowest being $0.48 USD. So, the EOS price prediction is comparatively easier. Currently, the price is $7.15 USD.

Monero Forum / Re: What Is Monero Mining?
« on: June 21, 2019, 01:34:54 PM »
ASICs are kind of centralising the mining of cryptocurrencies. But, luckily Monero steers clear of it. For monero mining software like XMR Stak, MinerGate, Monero Spelunker, CC Miner are used. This is what makes Monero so special, apart from its other characteristics.

Dash Forum / Re: Dash Future
« on: June 21, 2019, 01:21:36 PM »
Dash has relatively been stable as compared to other top 20 altcoins. But it'd be better to invest now, as more time goes by, the price is bound to increase. The reason lies behind the fact that bitcoin's bullish surge is affecting the altcoins as well. So, the dash price prediction, in some ways depends on the bullish trend.

Litecoin Forum / Re: price of litecoin before 2019.
« on: June 21, 2019, 01:02:47 PM »
With the approaching Litecoin halving, if anything, the price will just soar higher and higher. And that's expected. Currently, the price is hovering at $140 USD and if the litecoin price prediction is to be followed, it may even reach till $230 by the end of this year.
