Are you willing to give or receive Valentine's gifts in BTC? Do you think BTC can become a meaningful Valentine's gift?
Well, I think bitcoin can indeed be a very meaningful gift for valentine, but it completely depends on who your partner is, some people in a romantic relationship do not value bitcoin as a perfect and romantic gift, and we all know that valentine gift is supposed to be something the receiver will find as romantic.

So, for me, this is not a question to say "yes" or "no" to, giving a bitcoin as a valentine gift will totally depend on the type of partner one have, like my partner for example, I dare not give her bitcoin as a valentine gift because she's doesn't understand the value in bitcoin, and as such, she won't find it romantic and neither will she appreciate it, the kind of gift my partner finds romantic and perfect for her as a valentine gift are things that are edible, like ice cream, fried rice and chicken or turkey, or something she can put on like gorgeous dress in her favorite color, very good looking and expensive shoes and so on.
So, for me, instead of giving her bitcoin, I will sell the bitcoin, use the cash to buy any of this things for her cus that is what she will love and appreciate.

But like I said before, partners differs and for who his or her partner loves bitcoin, nothing is wrong in giving it, like myself, I did love to accept bitcoin as a valentine gift, and that's because i know what bitcoin is and value it.

Not really that only risking on losing it but rather they would really be converting it directly to cash since they do know that they could be able to earn something as long it does have value.
This is why there's no really point on giving out any gifts into someone who doesnt know about it because they wont really be able to appreciate things because the thing that they do have in mind is that on how they would really be able to get something on point and wont really be thinking about long term. There might be some that be that curious which they might study it out
but for sure majority will really be making those direct conversions without any hesitance.

Surely.
If someone doesn't really understand BTC, this will actually be less effective. Of course they will prefer cash or valuable items. So it cannot be denied that it is possible that they will immediately sell it and then buy it for other things. Not to mention if he protests because of our giving. Indeed, whatever we give as a gift, it should be accepted and appreciated. However, if it is someone who is very close, then it could be that they will be much more honest and not conform to expectations. If so, I would prefer to ask first what she wants this time.

Of course, many people still use cash because until now there are still many people who don't know about technology so they don't understand what digital currency like Bitcoin is, therefore Bitcoin is not fully used in all countries and only a few countries have regulations. a clear understanding of the use of Bitcoin and an understanding of Bitcoin that will accept trading using the Bitcoin digital currency.

Updated: 2024.03.14 White Valentine's Day
BTC has skyrocketed to $72K, marking a significant leap of $20K ~+38.5% in just the past month.

For those who have gifted Bitcoin to loved ones, this surge presents a fantastic opportunity to celebrate together.

Exactly the value of bitcoin as a gift will depends on the interest of receiver also his knowledge about bitcoin. If a receiver understands about bitcoin then there no more better gift than bitcoin but If receiver have no idea that how to save it and sell it then he also cannot consider bitcoin as a precious gift.

If a person is your relative then you can teach him everything about bitcoin but it will takes time and still there will be no guarantee that is he will satisfy with such gift or not because a person who is not involved in digital technologies cannot understand its value easily.

If his boyfriend, husband, fiancee would be giving out something that she doesnt know then its impossible that you wont really be that curious but well it would really be just that depending on a certain person. So there's no way that we could really be able to make ourselves to tell on how someone should really be spending or keeping those coins. As for the giver or the ones who do give out such gift then it wont really be that a bad idea that you would really be giving out at least some ideas on what is the thing that you have given.
For sure it would really be something that they would be holding since  they do know that it would really be having that potential.

For anyone that knows the value of bitcoin, they will know that its something good to have or give someone as a present, but nevertheless, we must not also hesitate in making sure that those who knows the value of bitcoin are the direct recipient to whom we are presenting such for, it will help them to know and value the gift presentation because they understand its worth as an asset.

Don't try to limit it only to the people who know about Bitcoin. If it is given as a present to people who have not encountered Bitcoin in their entire lives, it is also the same as sharing your knowledge and allowing them to start their Bitcoin journey. It's not a matter of how they will value or keep your gift, but more on letting them know how important your gift is. A simple explanation can be enough for someone who doesn't know anything about Bitcoin. Your gift will be valued and surely make the receiver of the gift curious and start to consider knowing more about Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is currently still good to have because it has the potential to make a profit from its price movements and the influence of a very limited supply will make it easy for the price to rise, but you need to know that the price of Bitcoin doesn't always rise, as happened on exchanges at the time. This is currently collapsing, so it's best to pay attention to the risks that could occur in Bitcoin before buying and making it a long-term asset.

It's true, but it would be better if we want to give bitcoin gifts then we have to tell them thoroughly about bitcoin. Or we can understand them about bitcoin before we give it.

you are right that don't limit it, as this could be part of the spread of knowledge about bitcoin. But I just suggest giving them an understanding first as I said before. In my opinion, that's better, because apart from having bitcoin, they will also have knowledge.

A good idea: we can help our loved ones have the opportunity to access BTC. As long as they see the growth of BTC, as long as they don't hate this market, a gift in BTC will be extremely interesting.

Flowers may wither within a few days, a household item may break after a few months, a diamond ring may lose value after a few years, but BTC will still be in our account for us to track its growth. Well, I even think we can give a child 0.001 BTC on their birthday to commemorate a major event in their life. It can also be as meaningful as planting a tree on their birthday  ;D
