Title: NFTGaming: Like the ICOs of 2017?
Post by: TomPluz on August 29, 2021, 04:31:02 AM

Right now, there is a verifiable explosion of NFT gaming projects sprouting almost everyday hoping to exploit the trend, make some bucks and hope that they can all build a big community as inspired by the success of Axie Infinity...which is still making good money for its players even as we speak.

Just a mere look at made-for-ads Telegram groups can easily confirm what I am talking here. Of curse, many of these gaming projects will eventually fail as they can never all gain the market traction needed to survive.

That's why I am saying that we can be witnessing the return of the ICOs in 2017 and in 2021 it is the form of NFT gaming. Do you think this can be a good trend for cryptocurrency or just another fad that will eventually fade as time goes on?

Currently, NFT is the biggest trend, even bigger than DeFi. We see NFT gaming trend led by AXS and taking up most of the new cash flow. A lot of new projects appear, but only a few are good, most are scam projects similar to ICO 2017.
Investors should only invest in projects with transparent team information and participating of large investment funds.

NFT's Gaming is the ongoing trend and people are just crazy in buying the NFT's because NFT's can be used to play games, most platform only allow you to play their game when you had atleast 1 nft of their game that's the reason NFT's is growing like the ICOs which is growing in 2017 and still i think these artwork had alot of potential to grow more

Some of the largest crypto projects came about in 2017. Hundreds of scam projects too. Many more projects in the defi area were created in 2020 and 2021. Two of the most famous projects in the NFT area were launched in 2017. Thousands are yet to emerge, and most will not survive more than a year. Or will only arise for a reason ... to steal money from your pocket.
Bitcoin was also a project where more than 99% of people thought it was a Ponzi Scheme. The others who believed in it are now millionaires.

The world's largest companies came into being with the internet, and it will continue to do so.

Can you imagine that in the future, in a game based on AR / VR, you will also be able to quickly buy something to eat or even wear? Or listen to a piece of music with friends or watch a Netflix series? All of this will happen very soon in the blockchain Metaverse. But you have to find out yourself which project will prevail first. When the huge companies get into the Metaverse Platform, how do you think the token from this project will increase?

We are still at the beginning of an exciting future when it comes to blockchain itself and NFTs. Of course there will be a lot of scam projects, so, as always, "only invest what you don't need to live" and DYOR.
But information is free and that's where you should start.

p.s.  Telegram? Discord is much more!

Today if I would define NFT trend, maybe just "a tip of an iceberg." Music, entertainment, arts, sports, and whatever that is able to put into digital code are not yet happening.

NFT gaming is now hot. Yes, you are correct some of them will fade and some are normally scam as we know when there is bulks of money, scammers are roaring to devour the investment. Better to always keep our guard and don't lower our standards to define scam and rug pull. Real hot game will last for a long time and not just a blink of an eye.

Maybe this is not yet what NFT can do. There are more to come specially beyond game industry.

NFT coin is trend now..I think NFT will exist for several year's again.
If you talk about scammers, there are many scammers..
So, I think It is classic problem.
I don't think about t, we should be careful to invest in new coins.

Let see the progress of NFT in the future.
Well, scammers are always in crypto ecosystem never leave whatever the trend will be. They can cope up and adopt to the present. Therefore, it is individual duty to be cautious and don't lower the guard against scammers if possible.

Actually NFT is nothing and can be easily compared with crypto-kitties.
NFT has no real value, it's only some kind of hot game, but the end of that game is close.

It's just like those ICO trends and eventually, many projects will wipe out from the market, online potential project with great vision for longer timeframe will continue to grow in this market. So DYOR before interacting with any p2e based projects at current market. But NFT will stay for longer period of time.

Haha... No real value?
How then can we explain the expensive NFTs such as crypto punks and Maye Plus Box?
They are expensive for a reason.

Cryptocurrencies, like any other industry, also need new things to keep moving forward. During 2016 and 2017, ICOs were a great phenomenon that made everything change, in recent years NFT and DeFi do the same as ICOs, they continue to grow an industry "autonomously" and attract more users of all the world. Adding new technologies and expanding existing ones is the "natural" way for cryptocurrencies to grow.

The growth of NFT now is quite impressive with bright future. So some developers saw the opportunity that they come up to revived the old games with lucrative in game rewards to attract the gamers around the world in any races to all ages.  Crypto now is not just simply digital investment but also an opportunity to collect and play the characters.

Yeah, NFT will attract more users everyday. There is something like a magnetic force to try this opportunity while at home, work place, or wherever the person is as long as connected to the server. :D

Yes I see NFT is very potential and so popular now.
I believe this coiin will have great future and very potential for several years again.
But we must be careful, every trend has end.

Whats the real value?
What would you pay? Or what the others pay for it?
How can you measure real value?

I mean real, not speculative, value.

Do you know that the money you have in your pocket (FIAT) today has a value between 2% and 5% less than a month ago, and that in another month it will probably have an even lower value?. Many people confuse value with price, and they are very different things. Paying a price for something we value is not speculation, otherwise we would speculate every day buying anything from any store.

What you said at the end of your article has answered what is feared at this time, anything that quickly increases does not guarantee that it will last long and will still be liked. because time will tell whether NFT will become one of the most potential ones. let time decide later and we can say all, but there needs to be time to prove it.

I think I agre, we must know when NFT will end.
I see almost all of investors attracted to invest in NFT.
Several people said It is not real value.
By seeing any argument and opinions here, we must learn more about this phenomena.

it is true that we cannot know whether the trend will continue to develop, or vice versa. because a lot has happened that is experienced from the new system in the beginning it was good, but on the way there were many problems. In the end, not many people were interested, even if there were, it was relatively different from what it was in the beginning. it takes time to figure it all out.

Normally people are more attracted to the much better thing. Not surprising if NFT trend will lose its momentum as we know trend will shift in due time. What we don't know is that what will be the next to come after NFT dominion.

NFT trend is undeniable the rampant development of NFT games is so much which can be notice through MVB and new potential project. Even some decentralized exchange and the old project are with this NFT trend.

Btw, CB seems at the stage of difficulty to recover due to users abuse of rewards. I know this because of my friends who are playing in CB before but now they are not.
