I noticed this for several tokens.
It goes on ICO for 1$ then after ico it goes to 3-4 cents !
Crazy ...
-
Because people tend to sell every token after Ico ends. If you sell a token , the token will lost its value and the price will decrease :).
-
because its the end of sale. and there are many ico out there
-
Not all. 2 of 10 ico in my portfolio. But it seems to me that main reasons are: big private/pre - sale discounts, big bounty programs and stakes for advisors and so on. And shitty project, of course ;)

I tend to agree. The fairer and the more level the playing field the less volatile a project seems to be early post-launch.
-
Shitty projects are the main reason in my opinion.
Other main reason is that involved parties like consultants, bounty-hunter etc who get their tokens for free just want to convert it into cash asap. They get the tokens for free, so they are happy as long as they can sell them for any amount greater than zero.

Big bonuses at ICO. You buy tokens for $50 and get 40% bonus. When the token get to the exchanges you have tokens for $70 so you can sell the tokens with the price of the ICO (first day on the exchange) and get $70 (40% profit). People panic, they begin to wonder if this is the next shitcoin, they begin to sell their tokens, the price drop and if you think that the project has future, you buy tokens with the $20 (your profit from the ICO) and in most cases you buy more tokens with the $20 than you had from the ICO.
pp. this only work with projects with passable white papers. If the project is really good, you won't see big dump at the first opportunity and if the project is a scam you lose your money.
-
maybe because many sell tokens after the ICO project ends. so that is what causes the price of the token to decrease so you have to be patient, maybe patiently will increase
-
I think it really depends on the ICO project, if the project is good then the price will not tend to be destroyed after ico is finished. because the developer will maintain that price. I often find it for projects that have a clear mission and vision.
-
I'm afraid to participate in new projects, there are many scams
-
This can be avoided by buying tokens with a security guarantee
-
Do you think someone can give a guarantee of safety?
-
Of course, for example I already participate in a safe tokensale, you can use something like the w12.io (https://tokensale.w12.io/?utm_source=psv&utm_medium=altcoinstalks&utm_campaign=altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=3345.0) , there is already more than 15 projects
-
Usually because it is caused because the project does not have a unique concept. But some people say that the decline in the price of ico tokens is because many people sell coins simultaneously.

yes. I see some project tokens have decreased after entering the exchange. this is very dilemma for the project team to raise the value of the token. These conditions that affect investor confidence, it is better to buy market prices than at ico.
-
As far as I know, one of the reasons why the price of ICO tokens dropped after the ICO ended was because of the large-scale sales carried out by the bounty. But in my opinion that is only one of them, not a strong factor causing the decline in the price of ICO tokens.
-
The reason for the price of ico tokens to drop is in my opinion because of the large-scale sales made by the bounties. In addition, maybe because not many people are interested in the coin. But the exact cause, I don't know for sure. This is only my personal estimate.

I slightly disagree with your opinion that blames the pesantren bounty, in my opinion in fact the coin price decreases after the ICO or when it is registered in exchange because people or investors do not have more trust in the coin and doubt the future of the coin so they decide to sell their coins.
-
This is entirely related to the tokens sold in the private sell. The low price on the stock market makes them profitable because the buyers are buying at very low prices.

usually like that, it is necessary to work again for the team to raise the value of the project token. In addition, the value of the coin is always influenced by the crypto market condition, and most importantly, trust in the project. The team saw this and always improved it.
