Cryptocurrency discussions / DeFi chains and exploits
« on: May 23, 2020, 01:56:39 PM »
I have suffered from the ETH chain oracle exploit and I still want to be in the DeFi space by lending.
Does anyone know a good platform that is resilient to such attacks?
I mean I can test it by borrowing a small amount first but I am more inclined to use my crypto to gain interest, and I would like to have something very decentralized.
So, I know all about binance stuff but like I said I do not want to depend on a company, it should be completely decentralized.

Has anyone done the NEM bounty? Also, what signature do you suggest for this forum?

Other Popular Cryptos / Coins / Ecash
« on: January 20, 2018, 06:35:54 AM »
Ecash increased its value a lot and at one time, it was worth like .80 USD per token. I tried to sell it in etherdelta but it was so slow, it would not let me sell. Then I tried to send it to yobit but it never arrived until the price was lower. Now that the price of it is low, I can sell it anywhere, lol.
We definitely need a decentralized exchange where you can sell ANY coin or token you have without permission or anything.

Litecoin Forum / Litecoin 150 USD in February 2018?
« on: December 05, 2017, 08:42:19 AM »
It is above 100 USD and keeping it there. I would like to believe that my posts have something to do with it. I had a little amount and I bought some more at 103 USD :) Now I think it will be 150 in February 2018.

Bitcoin Forum / Is it too late to invest in bitcoin?
« on: December 05, 2017, 08:01:55 AM »
Well, to get a 10x return, btc has to be 100K. It was 1K this January, and it is 10K now, all within one year. But then it does not seem to slow down at all, so you never know.
However, do you guys think that one should invest in some other coin that is cheaper and has a higher chance of mooning?

Other Popular Cryptos / Coins / ACC jumped up like crazy. Anyone knows why?
« on: November 28, 2017, 08:38:35 AM »
Have you guys seen ACC (accelerator)? It jumped to 5 USD per piece, it is a POS token so it is increasing itself.
Anyone knows why its price jumped up so suddenly?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Making income

I believe there are already people who are making their daily income from cryptocurrencies only. What do you think, and what are the ways to do it?

Cryptocurrency discussions / List of scam ICOs
« on: November 21, 2017, 10:55:23 AM »
Hi community members! Here you can write down projects that are scams. Argumentation will be appreciated. This way we can have a record of all frauds in one place! Each member who announces "scam" project should provide very solid facts about it with links and proofs, otherwise, it will be considered as FUD and manipulation.

Cryptocurrency discussions / How much time do you spend in Crypto?
« on: November 21, 2017, 10:50:17 AM »
I spend 1-2 hours a day researching cryptocurrency, but usually the whole morning until lunch. Sometimes its the whole day if I dont have  work, and continue at night while watching some cooking shows :)

Well, it is already 8200 USD. After the Tether hack, it temporarily went down to 7860 USD, then back above 8000 USD. So, I think it will pump forever.
What do you think could be done with altcoins to make more btc?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Altcoins vs bitcoins
« on: November 20, 2017, 09:35:55 PM »
Yeah, the altcoins are fine but it seems that there is a pattern. Whenever bitcoin pumps and rockets, they take a backset. They only start going up when bitcoin stops.
Any ideas on that?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Cryptos are too expensive darnit!
« on: November 20, 2017, 09:27:31 PM »
Kidding aside, it seems that if you wait, you will die from all this waiting lol. I think if you are a long time investor, it does not matter when you buy a lot, because it always increases with time.

General Discussion / Mining feasibility
« on: November 17, 2017, 09:55:00 AM »
Can someone validate this assessment for me? It changes based on prices but on average it sounds about right:
For each GPU you buy, it will take you 245 days to get it paid off at current profitability, assuming that stays constant, and we all know it won't. Same for ASICs.
you factor power into the profit margins from the start, so that's accounted for in your ROI calculation.. if you bought bitcoin now in the same amount you spend building a miner or buying an ASIC, and then compare profitability in a year, you're going to have more if you just buy bitcoin. Mining is done for now...
