That's what we are all looking forward to happen. Hopefully, the upward movement will continue to increase that price. However, there will surely be a lot of resistance that Bitcoin needs to overcome before we can see its price reach the previous all-time high. If Bitcoin price hits its previous ATH, there's no doubt that the new ATH after the halving takes effect will probably surpass everyone's expectations.

I think the longer the bullish trend continues, the fewer people who still doubt that BTC can reach a new ATH. The only nuance is that everyone's expectations are different, as some expect the new ATH will be $100-150k, while others are more optimistic and expect the new ATH might be $450-500k and even $1 million.

I wonder if you guys already sold your holdings or you will just continue to hodl until next year? I am quite sure that majority of big time investors just hodl their Bitcoins in the hope of maximizing the possible profit when new ATH will come in the year 2025.

I think for those who have been in previous bull run and all time highs, I don't see them selling at $50k'ish. They would rather see the price hits $100k or more in the next couple of years before this "smart investors" going to sell their stash.

The only way that I see investors selling is that if there are some emergencies that they needed money and so it's necessary and they don't have a choice. But for diamond hands, they know that this is just the beginning and will wait for the next all time high to sell and maximized their profits.

I see bitcoin holders still waiting for higher prices, some set sell orders at $100K and maybe more.  They never sell their bitcoin at $50K, because they know, it's before the halving.  After halving bitcoin will be more expensive.

Well most of those are HODLERS in which not being amused of the price now instead they are waiting for much even more , meaning if there are chances of growing more then that is their time and not this semi bull that did not even break the former ATH.

I believe that they are longing for 6 digits that I am joining them, not caring if we will be having another dump before it breaks the ATH.

I'm sure you are also one of those who are waiting for the price of bitcoin to reach the target of $100,000. So far, Bitcoin's price movement is still very difficult to increase because there is always bad news attacking Bitcoin, which makes whales try to take advantage by causing the price to collapse, which is happening at the moment.

Many investors who bought when the price was relatively low and when the price of Bitcoin touched $50,000 may have sold their investments with sufficient profit but there are some investors who are holding on to the investment hoping for some more profit. If you wait this time from the beginning of 2024 until 2025, the market will change considerably in this 1 year. The way the market has changed in such a short period of time, it can be said with much hope that the market will change very positively. As the market is now, if the market increases by 20% after one year, our profit will be 20% more than the current profit. Investors may expect this to hold onto their investments for a little longer which is definitely a good thing.

Well, it looks like the bulls took just a short break, but now they are active again, and the BTC price has already reached $51,5k. So, there is a possibility that we see $52k today instead of the weekend. As for the alt season, I wouldn't expect it to happen anytime soon, as BTC dominance is still above 50%.

Notice, just since the beginning of the year, the price has gone up 14k. With this success - by the end of the month, we can (safely) see a few more + a few % to the current price. To all of this, halving is coming up (minimally should react to this) + there will still be positive news anyway. I do not believe that btc should fall from current values. There are no preconditions yet.

P.S. Anyway, everyone decides for themselves when to buy/sell. Admit it, who will sell at 100k for 1 bitcoin?

Bitcoin Price After the ETF aprove, Bitcoin price has come to an advanced level. This year 2024 saw the highest bitcoin price in February, and the current highest bitcoin price in nearly two years in the past. So according to February price if I can guess in 2025 it will surely touch 150k dollar.

Personally, I think that now there is a high probability that the bears will test the support around $50k, and we will probably find out soon whether the BTC price will be able to go below $50k or not. By the way, the BTC price has already dropped from ~$52,5k to ~$50,7k twice in the last couple of days.

That's why we always advise not to panic sell or not sell if necessary. We will understand if someone will dump his Bitcoin for emergency reasons. But to panic sell or even sell just to get profits? bad idea.

And you are right, it's pre-halving, although price reaches $50k, in the grand scheme, we should look at the bull run after the halving and even go as far as 2025 to wait before we sell as to maximized our profits.

I know it's hard to time the market when it's going to see ATH, but at least make informed decision, maybe minimum $100k could be the start of the selling point.

The positive vibes in the market is always a great thing, I always support that and I will always support it long term as well. I get that it may not feel all that comfortable at the moment, but that doesn't change the fact that we are feeling quite happy right now. Price has been keeping us happy for this month, and I am hoping to see a little bit of extra in the coming days to finish off the month strong. Maybe there could be a little drop along the way, but that doesn't change the fact that we have done well so far, and should be considering it getting better one way or another eventually.
