With the current falls of cryptocurrencies, most especially Ethereum and Bitcoin, do you ever wish to trade your ethereum for Bitcoin? I want to know your opinion for choosing yes or no ;D

Well, I have both and I have more Etherium than bitcoins. I believe that Eth has a bigger potential on bitcoins but still so young. I plan to hold it for long, unless I'm daytrading i'll wish I sold it for bitcoins lately.

I recommend both. I trade ETH against BTC on GDAX, but right now is the best time in our lives to be invested in the crypto market, so owning as much of whatever you choose is a great strategy :)

I would not trade the ethereum for bitcoin right now, I am so use of trading altcoins right now(Erc20Tokens).

I am not going to touch any of the crypto kept in my Trezor. But as far as the crypto that I keep in exchanges, I don't have any emotions for them. I'll just trade if I can extract some profit out of the trade.
So, yes I'll trade my ETH in the exchanges for BTC. No, I won't trade my ETH in my Trezor for BTC or anything.

It would the price that matters weather which token to hold, I mean if Bitcoin price is more favorable then I will hold Bitcoin and vice versa.

I think the trading of Ethereum for Bitcoin depend on individual,and for me, i will trade Ethereum for bitcoin if the price of bitcoin is suitable. Bitcoin is the first crypto and has more wide acceptance than Ethereum and obviously prefer by many online stores and firms.

If I have enough bitcoin in my wallet I wouldn't trade my etheruem for the sake of adding bitcoin in my wallet. Ethereum is very potential coin in crypto so it is good like bitcoin to store in the wallet. In case I have some altcoins I will trade for ethereum sake and bitcoin too. This two coin is the first priority to earn.

But looking at the market trend carefully, it appears that Bitcoin is quite stable than the Ethereum although both experience some dips. Bitcoin has the largest market cap and has gained the trust of investors more than ethereum.

Both coins are currently red. Btc has fallen as low as below $9000 and Eth has gone as low as below $700. Both are volatile but I would prefer to trade Eth for Btc. This is because if cryptocurrencies gain grounds again, of which will definitely happen, and they begin to increase in value, I see Btc to rise higher in terms of percentage to Eth and for that matter stands the chance to gain more profit with Btc

I will choose a big NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is because ETH is now the best altcoin and it also has great potentials. Over the years ETH has been following the footsteps of BTC by also increasing as it increases. This means that when I have ETH it somehow equally the same as BTC. So will rather keep my ETH instead of trading for BTC.

No i will not trade my ethereum for bitcoin because currently speaking ethereum is one of the altcoins that is widely used and accepted on most platforms. Even the purchasing of other altcoins during the sales of ICO are done with ethereum. So it is best to hold some amount of ethereum so that in case you want to make any purchase or trade you can easily reach out to your ethereum. I know some people would say that bitcoin is higher in value than ethereum but the question is that you will have some bitcoins and might not get any transaction to make with but to change it back to ethereum before you can complete any transaction that you are making. If this happens then you will be increasing your Gas fees since you will pay Gas from converting from BTC to ETH and finally paying for making the purchase in ETH. So i say finally if you have ethereum hold some and save some bitcoins as well but don't trade all your ETH for BTC.

I think so if I have huge altcoins in my wallet I will not let the opportunity pass without grabbing. I would sell half of my holdings in order to buy bitcoin while it is now at low price.

No I wouldn't do that despite of low price. It seems like a trap to move out your coins and exchange it for precious bitcoin. Even though bitcoin is prominent I would do careless move. Maybe I will divide whatsoever that possible good managing my coins for bitcoin.

I would not sell ETH for the purpose of buying BTC for the simple reason that the first coin as well as the second one has excellent prospects in the future. And I will even say more - in my personal opinion ethereum in the future will cost at least half the cost of bitcoin, that is, in terms of investment this is a more profitable coin

Both currencies have been seen to have highs and lows which usually happens concurrently. Comparing the percentage rise and fall in both coins in the year 2018, Ethereum will definitely have the highest. But you may not see this because of the high market capitalization of Bitcoin. So I'll choose to hold my ethereum.

Recently, I invest more in ethereum than in bitcoin. Due to the fact that bitcoin is more used for long-term retention as a means of accumulating value, it will grow in price, but periodically fall again. Its price dominance in the crypto currency market is also decreasing. This will eventually free all types of crypto currency from the price dependence of bitcoin. Therefore, I see no reason to keep most of my means in bitcoin. In my opinion, ethereum for long-term retention is now more promising.

hahaha...i would certainly trade every little ethereum that i have for bitcoin because it is better to have the mother coin than any other coin. Bitcoin has a high price and so investing in bitcoin can guarantee you huge profits in future.

I assume that ethereum is on the top over bitcoin to be the most powerful coin in crypto but sadly bitcoin is the one who control the rebound. Once bitcoin bounce back then eth and the rest altcoins will go with the flow.

Some people do it because, in the beginning, they do not have the capital to purchase or investment in the bitcoin, then they make the alternative to achieve as etherium at bitcoin. and my plan is also so.

Well i think everything on crypto spend on the price or maybe it's volume in the crypto market. If the eth fall I think it is a loss if we trade it for bitcoin so then if the bitcoin will fall and eth will rise maybe that was the best time to trade

Yes many advantages in ethereum, it can be used for currency, payment gateway in ICOs projects and ethereum platform can be used for building smart contract and decentralize application (dapps) in my personal mind i will not trade it for bitcoin but i will invest my ethereum for token.

Yes, I have done that, so I am the same as you thought, I indeed traded your Ethereum for Bitcoin. But now my focus is not Bitcoin anymore, but only Ethereum. I started allocating my money in Bitcoin to Ethereum and making Ethereum my favorite coin and my new priority.

I think it always depends on both coin price. Because if we are going to trade our ethereum for bitcoin and the bitcoin is really more higher than ethereum maybe we will loss a big amount by converting it to btc, so I think we need to look at the price first and make a calculation for us to not to loss our profit or ethereum for good.

I think it is all depends on both coin price or maybe status. Because both coin are really unstable, if ethereum price fall and we buy bitcoin we can maybe loss our possible profit on our ethereum holdings during the rising of the ethereum price. So I believe it is all depend on the coin status.

I have been trading bitcoin to ethereum and vice versa. I did this during times when ethereum have fallen very low. It was really a bad timing for me since I did lose a lot from trading between these coins. I am a newbie and I found myself in hard decision of stay on either of the two. no, I trade for ether and sell it in dollars, not bitcoin. because the trade using ether is also good and commensurate with the trade using btc.

I don't think I can trade my Etherium for Bitcoin. I would rather keep my ETH on a long term basis because I believe that it will be greater than it already is. I'll love to have bitcoins but that would not be as a result of trading Etherium for Bitcoin.

I prefer not to trade my Ethereum with bitcoin. Because for me Ethereum is the most favorite coin and until now I prioritize more than Bitcoin. I can only say the truth, so it doesn't hurt to not do it right. Therefore I still maintain my Ethereum for the future.
