Ethereum Miners Vote to Increase Gas Limit, Causing Community Debate

Ethereum (ETH) miners are currently voting to expand the block gas limit from 10,000,000 to 12,500,000 gas, according to a recent tweet from Bitfly, the parent company of Ethermine pool.

What is gas and the gas limit?
Gas is a unit that measures the amount of computational effort required to send a transaction or perform other actions on the Ethereum blockchain. It is denominated in Gwei, or extremely small fractions of ETH.

Block gas limit, in turn, is the threshold of gas that can be spent on the transactions featured within one block.

I do not know, I am also confused for now because the transaction fees from Ethereum are back up in price and this is quite expensive and this is very different from Bitcoin whose transaction fees are still the same as before.
If we compare with the TRON fee for the transaction it is very cheap and there is no difference in the TRON fee, just like Waves which always gives a perfect value for each transaction fee, which is cheap.

I am constantly doing Ethereum transaction. I have come to understand lately that the ethereum fee has started to go up a lot. I am very confused about the transaction fee. I'm thinking about the transaction. If it takes a lot of fees, the number of users will start to decrease. People will start trading their coins or tokens in Btc or other coins. So I think the minimum fee for a transaction should be deducted. That could be 0.01. But not more than that.

It would create negative impact to ethereum blockchain if the gas fee will keep on increasing, many investors will shift to other coins because of gas fee. I hope, they will find a better solution on this otherwise the whole project will be affected. Nonetheless, I am still hopeful and trusting ethereum network.
This coin has proven it's worth and position on the crytocurrency space. Hopefully, transaction fee will not the reason for the downfall of this coin

Investors will stop investing if they are not encouraged. If the transaction charge is high then the number of users and investors will be reduced. This is the normal rule and the ultimate reality. Etherium can have a negative effect on the blockchain. However, ethereum transaction is much easier and less time consuming. So its importance and popularity is high.

But I think the current trend should continue. I welcome Ethereum 2.0. That will be good for everyone.

The price of Ethereum Gas which continues to rise is in my opinion the impact of the use of the Ethereum blockchain which continues to increase, this certainly makes the Ethereum platform have to work hard.  Who has the highest gas then he will be resolved first. Towards the launch of Ethereum Blockchain 2.0 also affects the increase in gas prices, and this will definitely continue to rise.

Ethereum transaction fees has increased almot 10x to 20x over the last few months which is shocking for the investors and users. It would put negative impact on the market and on the members of ETH holders. ETH team should think the investors site first. If they increase gas fee like now and see only interest of the miners, it is a regret and ETH will lose its popularity.
