Forum related / Re: No option to self moderate threads here?
« Last post by Fivestar4everMVP on Today at 03:06:32 PM »
sometimes, it takes days before the mods take action on a reported spam post

If there is an obvious example of a spam post, it is impossible for the report to be processed only after a few days. There can be reports that are not clear for different reasons and are awaiting for a moderator to make a deeper research before acting, but obvious cases are processed in hours maximum. ???
This (in other words) is to say that the moderator of a board is always online 24 hours a day and 7 days in a week?
well, hard to believe since from what I've seen here, most boards have just one user moderating that baord, and common sense tells me that when ever a post or comment in or on a particular board is reported by other user(s), the report appears only to the moderator of that board, and there is no way one person can be online 24/7, even if they appear to be online through their forum status.

Except reported posts or comments are broadcasted generally to all the forum moderators, regardless of which board the reported post or comment was made or posted, then I will agree that yeah, such report can indeed be treated within hours.

Anyways, I am just thinking out loud, no big deal regardless.

Kenya police service has arrested the escaped Binance Executive Nadeem Anjarwalla and are working with EFCC to extradite him back to Nigeria within the week to face the law.

https://punchng.com/exclusive-kenya-to-extradite-binance-executive-who-escaped-from-nigeria/?utm_source=auto-read-also&utm_medium=web

Told y'all that nobody messes with the Nigeria Government. The Kenya government will lose more if they refuse to send him back to Nigeria and they are not ready to take such a risk.
It is not different from the news I posted up there. The two news were out for people to read on the same day. The news title is confusing because in the news itself, there is nothing like Kenya police said the Binance executive will be extracted. Everything is still about Nigeria like maybe EFCC official saying something. Although, we all know how Kenya is. The country extradited Nnamdi Kanu but a man that was not arrested outside Africa, not to talk of extra diction?

By the way, how will Kenya lose if they decide not to extradite Nadeem Anjarwalla?

I didn't see your report I must have skipped it somehow....

We can't tell for sure but the reporter said the suspect will be extradicted to Nigeria this week so the only way to verify the info is to wait and see what happens before weekend. The only verified info now is that the Binance rep is being detained by the Kenya Police.

Kenya and Nigeria shares high diplomatic ties and Nigeria as the head of Ecowas and the AU we provide aids to these countries so there's more to gain being in Nigeria good book.

The Kenya government is going to extradite him and tag it "kidnapped" as usual.

General Discussion / Re: Just Bullrun Memes
« Last post by TomPluz on Today at 03:03:24 PM »

With the recent halving already gone, I am sure many crypto holders are wondering if there will be another bull run coming either in 2024 or 2025. So I am just wishing them more energy, more patience and more luck as we need them all while all waiting what can be in the crypto market these days. Right now, there is no denying that while Bitcoin has come a long, long way into the $60K level, the general sentiment is that we deserve more after BTC established its last ATH at $73K...it should have been around $80K right now but alas this is just a wish list for now. Cheers to all!

Bitcoin News & Updates / Buy Bitcoin sign sold for 16BTC
« Last post by NotATether on Today at 03:03:02 PM »

I mean, who can possibly forget this moment if you have seen it on television.

Clearly the guys on the left and right of the Bitcoin Sign Guy are either smirking or staring disapprovingly at it, which makes it all the more comical.

Well recently, it has been put on auction, and the winning bid was for 16BTC, which is about $1,000,000 in US dollars.

https://www.coindesk.com/business/2024/04/25/buy-bitcoin-sign-sold-for-over-1m-at-auction/

I hope the buyer enjoys his new ownership of this piece of Bitcoin history.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Simple practices to improve trading.
« Last post by rizqillah on Today at 03:01:03 PM »
To improve the trading we do, we have to keep practicing and of course this method requires a large amount of capital. As long as you want to learn trading, you have to keep doing it, never stop learning something new, until the time comes for everything you have done. learning will be useful for you and you will become a professional trader because you already have quite a lot of trading experience.
You are right to become a professional trader requires long experience and of course sufficient capital because we have to learn from all the mistakes and losses in the past. This is what is called sacrifice to become an expert.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Have you won anything online?
« Last post by MrSpasybo on Today at 02:59:09 PM »
Nowadays, Twitter is full of giveaways. If you look at some platforms like Binance, Trust Wallet, Bitget, Kucoin ; even some KOLS that do giveaways. I saw some good giveaway prices like PS5, Laptops and more. I know that doesn't seem true, cos I always thought they used to farm engagements. But looking forward to now it doesn't look even fake, since people are still getting the stuff they won and announcing it on their profile.. :o
The crypto market has become extremely vibrant with many investors, traders, companies, projects... Each company wants its products to reach users and contests with large prizes are an effective way to market. We also know that many users have received rewards thanks to their ability or luck, events from reputable projects are not scams and are worth participating in if users have time or ability.

Unfortunately, I have never received a reward from such events. I am not a regular trader to participate in and win trading competitions, and I am not lucky enough to be one of the tens of thousands of users selected in Twitter information sharing events. Anyway, participating in sharing information about CEX is quite interesting, it gives me a little bit of hope and also helps CEX develop more in the future, me and other users will be more assured and the crypto market will also develop.

Binance Coin (BNB) / Re: Investment of BNB
« Last post by rizqillah on Today at 02:59:07 PM »
yeah every country has its own policy for its prisoners. And clarity about this should be stated in their laws. Regarding CZ, whether he is still monitoring Binance's developments or not, we don't know. But what we see is that Binance Exchange and BNB still seem to be fine and not affected by CZ's problems when there was a change in CEO
BNB still has a stable price because CZ has given up his position to an RT person so that Binance remains safe. So far BNB still has several Launchpads which allow them to continue to make BNB prices more stable.
With the change of Binance CEO, making CZ's case does not affect BNB coin much, this is a good move from the Binance team. BNB coin is a good coin to hold, because it is always supported by Binance Exchange with its launchpad. Isn't that right, dude?

Binance Coin (BNB) / Re: How strong is the Binance coin?
« Last post by rizqillah on Today at 02:57:09 PM »
Yes, BNB is a popular coin that is supported by Binance. If you say that Binance doesn't manipulate it, that's actually not entirely true, because after all, Binance will always support BNB coin. I also believe we will not be disappointed if we buy BNB when it is bearish and hold it until it is bullish
That is why the Binance exchange was created which has the important purpose of manipulating the price of BNB, moreover the Binance platform has several Launchpad events that can only be used for those who have BNB. So that this way will make BNB very much in demand and potentially have an expensive price.
The Binance team will always have a strategy to keep its coins from dropping too deeply. This is a complete team, as is the project. Binance has an exchange and also a Binance smart chain network. Binance exchange always has a launchpad event that uses BNB coins. This is a good team strategy, worthy of appreciation

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Anonymity - good or bad?
« Last post by Zed0X on Today at 02:56:23 PM »
~ Some countries are even reducing anonymity to prevent tax evasion.
I am not aware of any country that allows anonymous citizens to settle their taxes. I'm not talking about people who uses dummy companies and/or proxies but paying legally with hidden identity.

What do you think is a good balance between maintaining privacy and reducing potential misuse in the crypto space?
Don't use any centralized services in storing your crypto and converting them to fiat. They always require identification nowadays.
