Ethereum bites the hands that fed them and by that, I mean they were much as good as Bitcoin if not way more developed due to smart contracts but they switched from proof of work to Proof of stake which makes Ethereum to be more centralized than it was before. The developers also lied to the people, they allowed people to stake their Ethereum to the pool and it became impossible to unstake even when the day was announced, they gave a condition for unstacking and that didn't go well with investors because the developers were trying to avoid dumping and stakers where trying to sell at an all-time high which many of them where deprive of the freedom and when they unstake, the selling pressure was high.

Secondly, the proof of stake has killed the trust of the community, there is a staking pool that contains more than 30% of ETH making it more centralized and there are speculations that the pool belongs to US investors, so investors are afraid to buy more Ether because of the trust issues from US investors.

In addition, there is a crackdown on the SEC(Security Exchange Commission) and coins that are term "proof of stake" and it is making people run away from the chain. I'm not sure about the price but just know that there is nothing impossible in crypto, you might come back to this post and see Eth in $6k in the future and laugh on this thread.

Yes, I believe Ethereum can reach $4k value or even more during this bull run. When Bitcoin goes up in value during the bull run then Ethereum and a few other altcoins will follow it. There can also be some of those altcoins that can grow a lot in value.

In the last bull run Shiba Inu was the coin that gained a lot of value within a year. This time we may have another such altcoin but we don't know yet that which altcoin will have similar success like Shiba Inu had. Let's see what the future holds for us.

Easily, ETH has a lot of potential, although one thing I wanted to make clear is I am not a big user or enthusiast of ETH, I just stepped my foot out of BTC fan and started to look into other coins as well, and what I have observed is, ETH has a lot of potential because its owner is highly linked with political entities, means he have internal and external support plus ETH's ETFs are definitely going to be accepted soon. And $4k target is a butter for ETH to achieve. My target is $10 for ETH in this upcoming bull run.

Although it looks impossible but people do not want to invest only in BTC ETFs or BTC only they want to diversify their portfolio with alternative assets (means the digital ones). ETH is the second best option to invest in, so it will be the favourite one, plus the upcoming l3 projects that will reduce the tx fee to cents maybe lesser than cents because L2 projects has already reduced the price to cents, the only problem I see is bridging fee which should be managed as well.

During a halving, prices will usually fall because they are chasing the Bitcoin halving, which will occur in the next few days.As happened several years ago, when the Bitcoin halving occurred, many coins' prices would increase, but not all coins would last long because many would collapse.
