Title: The height of signature space is too much

Don't you think the marked area is too much? It really looks messy and too much white space unused. I see people posting one line post with a huge signature underneath. Limiting the signature for 2 lines only (First line > 1 new line > 2nd line > 2nd new line > 3rd line) should be enough. I will look better IMO.

Looking forward to your feedback.

I think so much space is needed to be able to develop needed signature. Not every project needs so much space but I have seen massive signatures with a lot of links and I have to say that I like such a signatures with all kind of info in it very much because you have all links you need in one place. But I am not sure and I think only Admin can provide exact answer why this space is so big

To me it looks messy. I see people are posting one line post with a huge signature underneath their post. I am a BTT member if we take their example into considering then it's very clear to see that reducing the signature space will give a better visual for the readers. It's just my opinion. People can have different statements on it like you.

Or maybe let everybody to choose what kind of signatures he will see bigger or smaller and add this option to settings in profile. If technically possible of course.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just added a poll. Feel free to take your side. I hope more people notice it and give their feedback too.

I think now is too late but in your pool I will add one more possibility which is "let members choose the size in account settings". Like this your pool will contain all possible and already suggested options.

I just noted that the signature space is not big. It seems to be variable. The blank space is caused by the length of the profile description found at the left side. If you post bigger posts like this one - https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=17820.msg85447#msg85447 (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=17820.msg85447#msg85447), you'll not find the space after the signature. But if you make smaller posts like this - https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=17820.msg88728#msg88728 (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=17820.msg88728#msg88728), there'll be space after the signature.

So my suggestion would be to replace the titles like - Patron, royalty, Jr.spartan etc given in separate lines with simple badges in a single line below the profile name. So that once you hover over the badge you'll see the name of the titles.

Good observation, I did not notice it before. Tuurns out as an interesting solution. With suggested improvements could work like a charm. Don't you think?

Another option is adding new lines if the posts are too small. Count how many lines are ok to get a good look on the signature. Let's say 5 lines. So now if, someone answer with one line then add 4 more new like before the signature space, if it's a two line answer then add 2 more lines etc.

It really is up to the admin. Hope he notice it.

Admin will notice or already noticed your suggestion but I think there is more urgent work to do right now on the forum. This is just a cosmetics when the rest of features will be done and main problems resolved. As for now works and doesn't looks so bad.

the space is not due to the signature
it is due to the different things you have under your username

Yes mate, we noticed that  :)

I understand you may have other things to focus however when you have time then do give it a shot. Sometimes this minor cosmetic changes makes a big difference on the look.

Thanks for that insight. Just added it.

It's not gonna be really complex task if admin wants that. But not sure what's in him mind. I am sure he has other important things to sort out.

i thought there will be more people willing to discuss suggestion and vote. From what I see there are only 4 votes and few answers. Such a thread is a great chance for new members to show themselves on "forum related" wall, without having any knowledge about cryptocurrencies. I was sure there will be plenty of answers, maybe not high quality but normal ones and random discussion with lot of newbies. This is good that nobody try to spam this thread but from other side we can still see how small our forum is.

This means that the developers took pity on the money to buy a beautiful and comfortable design for the signature. Yes, indeed, this signature is amazing, the space is very large and looks ugly.

I don't understand your suggestion. You mean a bar on left site with ability to scroll? But what for? Explain please.

Yeh I notcied this too, thought I'd try with two signatures and see if they fit  ;D
Is this allowd, or too much? I'm just using space that's available in my opinion.

I'd like to see them a little smaller personally, but thats just a personal preference.    They do a feel a little big but its not so big that it's offensive.

I agree, some of them are ridiculous and almost take up my whole screen.  My monitor isn't even small so it's quite a feat to occupy that much space.  It's not a huge issue for me, but I can't imagine someone browsing this forum on lower resolution screens, or mobile devices.  Just one signature could be 10+ screens worth of scrolling.

If there are no problems for both projects, it's Ok for you. But I think most campaigns prohibit use of other signatures.

What did you mean by scrolling down? We are talking about signature space. Would you mind to elaborate it ?
