Utopia project on BTT did something similar recently - paid bunch of members $6 to leave a positive review on their app on Google store to mislead potential honest customers.
It's okay if the project financially stimulates people to test the product and write a short summary. That's ok as long as they do it with different independent users. They can always refuse to pay for an obviously fake review.

It is something completely different when one person sits down and creates several new accounts and has a discussion with himself, creating the appearance of greater activity and interest in a project/product.

Some Mixers support the BTC > XMR > BTC feature to enhance anonymity thanks to Monero. Users of these services want to own BTC, not XMR, because BTC has more potential than a privacy coin, as evidenced by the long-term downward trend of the XMRBTC chart.
Do not mess up mixing coins and trading. Users who use the mixer certainly do not do it to make some trading profit, because these are two completely different functions. Surely no one decides to hold XMR or any coin just because they can convert BTC to XMR through a specific mixer.

If you are already talking about the drop in the value of XMR, there are serious reasons for that, delisting from some large exchanges plus a serious fight with the SEC certainly have a big impact on everything.

It is in the interest of the entire crypto ecosystem that XMR survives everything that happens against it.

Let me make a lucky guess, there was no traffic their website and no quick profit like they hoped, but they also got scared after recent arrests of developers and closing down of other mixer websites :)
I think they didnt do a good job with advertising and activity, but that is not important now.
RIP Tengri.

It seems like a combination of bad circumstances. They appeared when mixer advertising started on the new platform along with bans on the much more massive Bitcointalk. That alone put all potential new mixers in a much worse position than the well-known and already-established ones.
Add to that all the problems such services face these days, and it's almost obvious.

The posts have been deleted and the thread has been locked.

If any user finds threads like this again, the appropriate subforum to submit the report is this: Decentralized Team.

Thank you all for your help.

@examplens +1.
One more thing.
Given that this case can be considered solved, is it best to lock such threads or leave them open for further discussion or possibly if the member who was the subject of this investigation would like some further clarifications?

Hey! Sorry, i didn't got a notification by email or anything about your reply, and tbh i'm used to no replies at all :)

I fixed the link and yes, at the moment we do not offer an affiliate program yet.
Eh, that's bad. Partner programs are always good to encourage promotion.

Now that I have your attention, some more questions for you. Considering that you accept crypto-currencies as a means of payment, what are your thoughts on privacy?
Can I buy your service anonymously, without the obligation to provide personal data? What is your position on this, if you have it written somewhere in your TOS, I would like you to point me to a reference.

If the answer is affirmative, is there any case where you would ban access to the server and data and demand the personal data of the server tenant?

I deleted posts from newly created accounts and also locked the thread. I have also warned the OP not to continue posting threads like that, I think he should already know how the forum works. If @Cazkys does the same thing again, the account will be temporarily blocked.

Thanks for the warning @examplens.

thanks for your reaction.

Freemind, if you have time, look at this case from earlier.

A similar thing, as far as I can see, they have stopped shilling. If nothing, move it to the proper board or delete spam posts.

Maybe it doesn't matter because some time has already passed, but in the future, if spammers know how such spam is treated here, they will probably give up this kind of practice over time.

Unfortunately, one more mixer is out of business. They may have been the youngest and have not yet acquired a user base, but they are certainly entering a negative trend of decreasing privacy service options.

After consideration. Tengri has decided to close. Thank you for being with us on this short journey.

Obviously, I have to update the list.

I'm sorry to hear this even though I haven't used your service yet.

Thanks for the information, at least we won't speculate about what happened to you. Here I would like to join the NotATether request, it would be really important to hear the position on the reasons for the closure of the mixer because we were deprived of that from some reputable mixers.

~snip~
...people should use DAI instead of USDT in my opinion (EU users, be careful USDT will be banned in June for the whole EU).

I didn't know that the EU geniuses would do it, but it has been a big wish of some people from the ECB for years, especially their chief CL, who otherwise has a similar position on cryptocurrencies as, for example, the well-known SEC chairman. Given that I do not use stablecoins, this decision will not affect me, but it is really funny to me that they are fighting in such radical ways against everything they consider a threat to the euro - but they are obviously learning from their political brothers across the big pond.
They feel threatened at least for the Euro, so they decided that it is best to ignore the problem.  :o The old school of politicians really needs to retire, they have a hard time adapting.

I would like this question to reach the Jambler team because I find it interesting.

Is there any thought at all about implementing an affiliate partner program on this platform? I saw that no Jambler mixer partner has such a possibility, and somehow I am convinced that it would help in wider promotion.
Or does the largest promotion cause a problem because it draws the attention of tainted governments?

https://pxzone.online/altt/karma-log?sort=highest_karma_all_time

Have you tested this recently?
By clicking on the link, you get the result of 50 users with the most karma points. However, if 100 users were selected, then the result is from a completely different table, i.e. the last karma receivers.

PX-Z, Given that your signature area is currently empty, why not use it to promote your site and the services on it?

I've updated their Announcement thread in this forum on April 27, 2024, 12:57:47 and placed a clear warning about their current issues. This could've have been avoided if you've read the warnings.
Maybe you should have deleted Yomix links to their site, onion links, etc...
We know that there are always those who will first go to use the service and only read the warnings later when something goes wrong.

Due to the type of work I used to do, I required various messaging apps and I have to admit that it is quite tiring. Almost every group of users is used to a different app, for me it was torture between all of them. Damn notifications.

If something could unite several platforms, it would make sense for me and such a thing would make my life easier.

I am only aware of one such app - Mixin Safe.
I remember that very bad story, although they just started to appear on the Btt forum. It seems to me that the moment they drew attention to themselves, hackers found a loophole and cleaned out their wallets. Which were safe until then, as the name suggests.

Didn't Gbyte, later rebranded to Obyte, have similar functions even sending their coins via messages or email?

Sorry this ended but at least there are other campaigns for us.
I'm starting to doubt how you bring bad luck to campaigns. This is the second time you have closed a Tumbler campaign  ::)

These lawyers are pretty good. I wasn't expecting this kind of end result to come into fruitition.

Yeah, They are $2000 per hour good  ;)
This is an analysis from June 21, '23, and then they had nearly 35,000 billable hours, around $200mil. How many FTX users could have been reimbursed from there?

Quote
“These proceedings appear on track to be very expensive by any measure,” said Stadler, citing costs that already amount to 2% of estate assets and 10% of reported cash, with 46 of the 242 attorneys assigned to the case charged over $2,000 an hour.
