I wouldn't even recommend discussing your salary from your regular job with people you don't trust.
Do people really do this? I'm really surprised if that was the case. I've been doing some door-to-door interviews in the past, and even if I find someone who likes to boast about his achievement, they never say how much they make each year. At best they said they can buy one or two motorcycles each month, but that's that. That's still pretty dangerous though, but no one ever discusses their salary openly. I don't think that's necessary to tell people you can use Bitcoin to pay for stuff anyway.

If we talk about crypto though, I often find people discuss it openly, but never specifically mention that they hold Bitcoin or something similar. In fact, I found people like to discuss it online instead. Maybe it is different for each country, but that's my experience so far. Most people that I know who participate in crypto are from forums or social media, to begin with.
Yes, there are people who's fine discussing the exact digits of their salary, which they don't know that it is confidential and shouldn't be discussing to anyone. Even if the person you are talking to is someone you trust, and I believe even with your partner, the exact digits shouldn't be discussing.

In crypto, that's the same as me. I often see people with crypto investment in social media, especially in cryptocurrency group discussion, posting the amount of investment they have with different questions/flexing their money, and any other reason. Which they shouldn't be in the very first place.

Gambling & Crypto Casinos / Re: STAY AWAY FROM 1XBIT
« on: May 08, 2024, 01:14:52 PM »
I really think that 1xbet and 1xbit have the same owner because 1xbet has so many well-known social media influencers actually promoting it.
Yes, as per OP, 1xbet is the parent company of 1xbit. They have the similarities in everything and the way they initiate their promotion is also the same.

And guess what, I just saw recently an ads from this influencer. Though, I don't follow those kind of influencer, it just suddenly appear in my feed. I missed to get the name of the page and to block it as I am rushing going home. The promotion and finding for more victim still continue, that's saddening.

Maybe because they choose to do their campaigns on the other forum. As we all know that the traffic is less here, we can see the improvement compared in the previous months but maybe it is still not enough for the gambling campaigns. It's not time but we will come to that, for sure sooner or later.

There are two gambling campaign who have tried to bring their campaign here, which are bons.io and winz.io, they don't stay for longer and decided to pause their campaign after a few weeks.

I don't know how hunting after bounties is a full time for some people, maybe they have been used to it anyway, but am not still convince about how rewarding bounties have been to many of its hunters, even though despite they were aware that some of these bounties resulted to scam, because they are not rewarding and fails as the project remained unsuccessful, if we are interested in doing counties, we should not solely base on them alone, we can attached other investment aside bounties to help us have higher earning opportunities.
Or it's much better to find another full time job. Having investment does not make you have a stable income that you can use for your daily or monthly needs. If investment and bounty hunting are our only way to make money, I don't think it would be sufficient.

Besides, investment does not always make us profitable. Compared to having a full time job is much better or become an entrepreneur.

yes, it's mandatory for crypto holder to check the price of their holdings. Specially for Bitcoin in the last week or so, we have seen swings, from $63k-$57k and now we are back at $63k again.

So from time to time, even if you are short or long term holder, you must check the price and see the current news that could have affected this price movement be it negative or positive news.
In fact, it's not as important as you think, because basically the price changes are not caused by your activity, but by market activity... Long term holders should not check prices too often because it could affect their emotions in holding... target Long-term investments are time-based, so you may only need to monitor prices if you have free time...

just knowing the price without taking action seems to happen more often to long-term holders.
Mandatory or not it all depending on the investor. Some investor wants to timely or spend at least a little of their time on a daily basis to see the status of their investment. I think it also includes the safety condition of their investment. Even if it is stored in a wallet, it's not bad nor a waste of time to check it. The level of importance of checking the investment solely depends on the person.

Even if it can affect the emotions they have, the decision will always be on the invedtor itself. Whether they will let them have a fear with their holdings or not, that's all part of being an investor.

Gambling discussion / Re: How did the gambling life Start?
« on: May 05, 2024, 11:33:47 PM »
I started to do gambling when I was young, it's a vacation with my family in the province, occasionally one of our entertainments is gambling. We play lucky 9 or most of the time "in between". This is a fun gambling activity with the family, of course the betting amount is just small during that time. Like 5-10 php in our local currency or 0.08 $ every bet.

Until I grow up and learn more gambling games. Even now we still do it if we have a vacation, and guess what, the last time we play we started at 20-25 or 0.35$, then the pot money have increased up to $100.

What is worth doing, is worth doing properly. Whoever starts up a business, and is not serious with his business, is only wasting time because that business must collapse. Another thing is by knowing the right business to go into, some people don't know the kind of business that will be successful when they start it up, and that will also make the business to fail. If you see someone doing well in a particular business, that does not mean that you will also be progressive in such business. Look and identify the kind of business that is good with you, by knowing what is lacking in that environment and use it as an advantage to start that business.
Actually, that's true. Seeing someone making successful progress with their business is sometimes the reason why some people fail their newly launched business. They see other people having a success and thinks that they will also have the same success. Though it is a common thing to see some businesses to follow what is a successful business the mistake being made for some other entrepreneurs is that they don't study and think of an action plan for the business.

Most of the time, they don't have any countermeasures to overcome challenges and other problems that may come with their business. In the end, they have to give up their newly launched business as they no longer can continue.

So as an individual how do you plan to have a secured job considering that every job is at risk?
I think what's best is to invest in getting new knowledge on what's the trend and possible trend in the future. Have a vision or a choice of something you can learn that will still be needed even if most of the jobs are being replaced with AI. An expertise where a human intervention is always needed, that a bot can't do as it needs on-the-spot decision making.

Technically correct approach but lot of practical difficulties to be honest, imagine you are working in a sector that all you know for years which may suddenly replaced by AI and now you go on and pursue a completely different skill that even may face the similar problems in the next few years. As of now it's kind of confused state whether the AGI and ASI concept will become real but if we are evolving at this rate then it won't take more than couple of decades Max to see a complete transition that we never expected.
The trend does not limit only in one expertise, in every trend it includes every part or type of job that a human intervention is required as it is also part of the process in developing and improving in that certain field. Aside from that, there is really no such thing as easy in every sector or job. What every individual need to do is to keep on learning and choose for what we see fit for our capability.

Maybe you can show something more to make your words credible. People will look for a negative side since they don't find any reason to believe in your words especially since your account is a newbie account. They might think that the airdrops listed might be full of scams or phishing and not being filtered by you.

Though I fully support using your website as I have experience and know those listed airdrops you have on your website. Aside from that, I know you from the other forum. ;)
In hindsight — I think I should've used my other forum's username instead for better reputation lol.  :o
Yeah, you should. But it should be fine, your content provides guide and not requiring payment to continue using, it's useful especially for airdrop hunters, this can save them a lot of time. Also the airdrops that was listed on your website have source, they can verify every information before they proceed on participating the airdrops and following your guides.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Has the bear market started?
« on: May 03, 2024, 10:20:53 AM »
Bitcoin price touched $65k to $56k in just two days. Bitcoin price is in full bearish current position, maybe we are going to reach bull run very soon. Do you think we are headed for a bitcoin bull market or a bear market?
It's too early to say that we are heading to a bear market already. The halving has just finished, though, I'm not saying that we can see Bitcoin price rally again sooner. But we can't avoid this kind of scenario where the market will show what we call a healthy correction. Not because there's an expected bull run, we will never see any dump in price. It will still happen, some experts even says that to achieve a higher height, such correction is required.

You're welcome, now the issue is solved, I believe you should lock this thread to prevent spamming. ;)
Of course I will, but first I will wait a bit longer. I'm certain there are other ways to quote without adding reference inside the quotation. If nobody replies with an alternative solution I will lock the thread then.

Lol, I don't think there are anyone to spam this thread. Altcoinstalks isn't as active or crowded as Bitcointalk. :)
This is another way you can use,
Using the URL and then adding the quote, the text itself would direct you to the link if you clicked it.

Another factor to weigh-in is the reputation of both the Campaign Manager and the Campaign itself. A Campaign Manager with a track of well managed campaigns could be an important plus to consider, and checking this out may lead to better chances that the campaign does not eventually turn out to be a fiasco in terms of compromised crypto revenue.

Most campaigns (not all) also require that you wear their avatar (once you are a Full Member or above). I find that an avatar influences quite a bit on the image that we have of one than the signature he wears, since it’s part of the profile information on the left of the posts that we normally visualize. Having a crappy ICO avatar can easily be associated to your person, and thus “contaminate” your profile (says I, who does not bear an avatar by choice …).

Or this, you don't need to add the link inside the quoted text, it can be clicked beside the "quote" and will direct you to the source.

You can't copy directly the quoted text from another forum as the BBcode you copied does not include the link if you use it in another forum.

Forum related / Re: Badges that encourage spamming the forum..
« on: May 03, 2024, 12:21:00 AM »
The first time I saw this badge, I said to myself that this badge is something that is not for me. It's hard to achieve as I have other tasks to do in my life, a job and responsibilities to look for. I mean, reaching that many posts requires being active in a day, or just like PX-Z says, unless if you are someone managing the forum, posting different updates or replies mostly to the questions and so on.
