EOS  aims to the fastest, cheapest and most scalable smart contract blockchain in the world. It is competing with ETH .
Will the  Proof of Work model used by Ethereum be better than the Delegated Proof of Stake model used by EOS?

One of the key differences between EOS and the Ethereum network is the difference in the concept of these networks. The Ethereum network can almost be described as application-agnostic, meaning it is specifically designed as a neutral platform for all potential applications.Another significant difference between EOS and Ethereum is the blockchain consensus mechanism and the General method of chain management. While Ethereum uses Proof-of-Work (and will soon switch to hybrid Proof-of-Work / Proof-of-Stack), EOS will use Graphene technology, which uses a delegated trust consensus mechanism (DPOS).

One of the main differences between EOS and Ethereum networks is the decision-making mechanism. Ethereum uses the mechanism of the proof of performance of work (and will switch to the hybrid scheme of the proof of performance of a work/share of possession soon), and EOS will use Graphene technology which uses the consensus mechanism with the delegated individual share (DPOS). Use of mechanisms of the proof of performance of work and a share of possession results in certain difficulties within correction of errors of applications, but EOS already has a mechanism which can stop their work and make corrections

Both are good currency, In my opinion...this will be judge on how huge is the adoption of their product plus to add the popularity. I think for now ETH has the edge as this is more popular than EOS but who knows in the future...maybe EOS will overtake ETH if given a chance to fully develop their platform.

It is still early to discuss competition between the two. EOS has just started and still has to prove itself as a good platform.

EOS a good coin, but it isn't necessary to compare her to Ethereum. It is unlikely someone will be ahead of him in the next future. Ethereum intensively develops and will become it is better. EOS is possible to come nearer but won't overtake

From a trading perspective, both platforms seem prime for a rise from these prices, but I tend to agree EOS isn't surpassing ETH anytime soon... the adoption is just too high along with first product advantage.
