More or less everyone who is here wants to pay signature rent because it is the best way to earn money without investing from crypto. Personally I always like to think about trading and signing. But I am experienced in video and photo editing so I get some work through one of my friends. In fact the right source of earning money online is freelancing and through this you can work for a long time without any problem. On the other hand if you want to establish yourself from the YouTube and tiktok platform, you need strong content. But I don't see any source of earning money from Facebook and twitter.

Facebook has a classified section you can sell on it. You can also show your restaurant or company on facebook with a page.

Crypto Exchanges / Re: TradeOgre do you use it.
« on: May 29, 2024, 11:50:05 PM »
I used Tradeogre exchange few times before when I needed to exchange some altcoins and everything worked fine.
They exist for years and they are known for having strict no-kyc policy, but I don't know if something changed in last few months/years.
However, I wouldn't recommend holding any coins there or on any other centralized exchange.

I mine coin a convert to coin b and pull it out.

Why is it that, it is when a gambler is losing that he always think of quitting.
At the point of losing, there is always clarity, People understand better the risk they are taking if they continue to loose money to gambling, so there is always the thought that they need to quit. This thought will be more pronounced when they are in a serious financial situation. These thoughts are easily forgotten as soon as money comes because you made them under a position of duress or not out of pure conviction of the need to quit. This is why you always return to gambling even after you promise you are going to quit the last time you lose.

you don't always return to gamble. If you end up believing you can't possibly win it is easier to quit.

Gambling should be fun and in such a way that you spend money to the extent that it does not present a problem in your everyday life. Anything more than that is a problem that should not be ignored because it will only get bigger.

Regarding decisions in life, I would say that there are people who have a strong will and attitude, and when they say something, they do it - unlike those others who talk a lot and promise, but in the end everything remains just an empty story. It's not just about gambling, quitting smoking or drinking alcohol is also a big challenge, but it's not something that's unachievable.

I know quitting vices can be done. It takes effort and work to do it. But I am so much better off without cigarettes gambling and drugs. The life quality is much better. I am 67 years old and doing shit like this instead

June 1. 2024

I have 12 steps to first floor from kitchen in second floor.

so I am still  discovering just how many steps / flights of stairs I can do.

I WENT to doctor  to check the operation healing so doctor was happy. But he saw me early so I decided to do one set at lunch vs 2 one at breakfast one at dinner.

SINCE I did just one set I did 240 steps up and down which is 20 flights of stairs up and down. IT is real cardio work. I COULD do more steps than 240 I am now past 8 minutes time. WANT TO ADD to steps and time.

I decided to try to do 1 set a day and get to 15-20 minutes

I did 276 steps or 23 flights of stairs today in 9 minutes and 2 seconds.

After dinner I will do relaxed cycle time with rubber band curls.

I work upper body and allow my legs a stretch exercise.

The dual stair workout was not allowing me recovery time

Along with walking on the beach with my wife of 37 plus years.

and posting here and on bitcointalk making coin as I type :)

Litecoin Forum / Re: LTC or litecoin 2023 price after ½
« on: May 29, 2024, 05:53:13 AM »
I think LTC will not rally much but that btc will rally.
Throughout history, we have seen the stagnation of LTC price after the Litecoin halving, and in fact this event is not too important for BTC and the entire crypto market. Litecoin seems to have been forgotten and its ecosystem has not had impressive development for many years. I think we don't need to follow the fluctuations of LTC price when we want to assess the market, we should spend that time and effort on the BTC price chart because BTC is still the crypto king.

I don't believe in LTC's revival and comeback in this bullrun, and I have also had to remove LTC from my portfolio even though I was a fan of LTC in 2017 when I knew that Litecoin was faster and cheaper than Bitcoin and Litecoin was a better choice than BitcoinCash to replace Bitcoin in the future. Now, I know that my thoughts at that time were naive.

Yeah I mine LTC/DOGE it earns a profit. But frankly I like Doge more than LTC.  I think Doge will stay strong for decades to come.

I picked over 60.

I have been holding silver for a while. Hoping to make a good profit on selling it over the next 18-24 months.

8
I have said this dozen of times when i wanted to quit smoking and drinking but more than dozen that i failed myself .

so Instead of saying ?i did my best to forget those vises and i won.

same as in gambling, when i am still active , i use totell myself each time I lose that I will quit gambling but never that i won against this until  my wife helps me with it .

I quit gambling in 1990 I used and still use Gamblers Anonymous
I quite illegal drugs in 1992 some pot on my birthday . pot was not legal at the time
I quite cigarettes in 1996 I used Nicotine Anonymous

All drug urges are gone
All cigarette urges are gone
Gambling urges are in control and for the most part in full control.

Good as I do have a decent amount of grin. I wonder if anyone is holding grin?

I mine it and have some  coins.  I also may want to liquidate it one day and can not seem to find a USA based exchange that will let me trade it.
Even though I'm not a fan of privacy coins, I wish you profit with GRIN in this bullrun. Honestly, the GRIN price's downward trend makes me really worried, I don't have enough courage and belief to invest in GRIN.

There are two exchanges with quite large GRIN volume, CoinW ~ $110K/day and GateIO ~ $30K/day, you can try to register an account and use them to trade GRIN.

I AM able to mine and hodl it kind of endlessly. But not in big amounts. I think I am at about 18000 of them not much.

I could remember way back when I was always gambling without luck and run at loss almost every time that I gamble. This will make me say to myself I will quit gambling, but after a while, I will think of gambling and I will try to hold myself back, which happens. But my mind will keep telling me to gamble, and after somedays I will gamble again. Same thing will happen and I will repeat the same words again. This happened to me over and over again, but look at me now I am still gambling and having fun with it. Have this ever happened to you that you said you will quit gambling but didn't.
Why is it that, it is when a gambler is losing that he always think of quitting.

Find a program. G.A can help you go in a room filled with people that have gambling problems they are trying to stop and stay stopped.

It can help to go to some meetings.

General Discussion / Re: drugs or alcohol?
« on: May 26, 2024, 06:57:59 PM »
Of course, whatever is done excessively must have side effect at the end of the day. You can drink alcohol but drink responsible and know your limit. Those that don't have self control over whatever they are doing should not involve themselves in activities that one can get addicted to, so that they can live a healthy life.
Indeed, both drugs and alcohol be really addictive if taken excessively.
Many people see them as a way to kill depression and to distract their mind from certain things, it does actually work for them at first and that's why they see it as an option and always run to it whenever they have such feelings, but fail to realize that the more they expose themselves to those substances, the more they  are at risk to get addicted, and such addiction can be really deadly and dangerous to the human body, both physically, psychological and emotionally too.
Hard drugs are very dangerous to the health and excessive alcohol intake damages the heart and can cause high blood pressure, and stroke. While drugs are make someone abnormal. This is why if you feel you are taking any of these stuffs it should not be done too much, but the problem is when you are addicted to it, it become a big problem.
That's true, but I believe that hard drugs has even more severe consequences than alcohol, and it also has more potential for addiction than alcohol.
A person can be drinking for years yet not being addicted and also able to regulate his drinking habits and in some way avoiding the health problems of excessive alcohol intake, but hard drug isn't like that, it's impossible for one to take hard drugs for years and not get addicted or start feeling the psychological effects of the drugs.

I do not know anyone that shoot heroin twice a year. I do know a few heroin addicts 3 died  from od and 2 quit.

Really it depends on how deep you want to go with the question. You say Drugs or alcohol but what kind of drugs? Are we talking cocaine, marijauna, meth, caffeine, heroin, nicotine, or opiates? Alcohol is self explanatory so i'll not list the thousands of different kinds of beers and whiskeys.

Prior to heart surgery, I liked to have a few beers now and then as well as was a smoker for over 20 years. Post heart surgery, I do not participate in any of my old habits. No beer, no smoking, and def no recreational drugs.

With that being said, I would choose drugs over alcohol as I still like to drink mountain dew and caffeine is technically a drug.

Caffeine and Phil go back to 1963 when I was six and had my first tea.

So caffeine is staying around as is some alcohol,

but tobacco coke herion all drugs with maybe just maybe a very small amount of weed are not happening.
