Favorite type of DeFi projects?

The DeFi industry is currently worth over $30 billion,however notably 80% of the DeFi market is currently lending and DEX's.

Do you think this will change in the future?  Will assets, derivatives and payment type projects increase in value as lending/dex projects have?

- The payments sector hasn't even reached $1 billion yet, while defi lending is nearly 50x larger as an industry.
- The assets category has already grown from $1.5 to $3 billion since the start of 2021 alone.
- Locked market cap in DeFi has gone up 30x in the past 12 months

Thanks to this forum i came across "Ferox Advisors" hedge fund that manages capital and through their employees  capitalises on volatility of a whole range of assets . I am pretty sure there are many projects comparable to the mentioned above that are established but getting in early and gradually increasing your position could be a way to look forward.

Most of the defi projects that are going on now are more likely to be successful. If you work on these projects, the chances of getting paid are much higher. Everyone's favorite project is the defi project.

Dex and Derivatives are the favourite type of defi projects and most of it become successful in the long run which also give these types more adoption. Payments won't be that much popular as more and more projects are poping up to do so and everyone's point of view be like we should use top crypto instead of those new projects. But bit time, it might get attention as gas fees on both bitcoin and ethereum blockchain is much high for a small crypto hodlers to do any transections.

Recently some DeFI projects are moving forward as a full speed Rocket launching. Aave , chainlink, uni and sushi already Moon and 1 inch starting to launch. I think immediately 1inch will overcome 10 dollars.

ERC 20 smart contract platforms based decentralized finance projects are very expensive due to the high exessive network fees. Select another way where Ethereum network fees cheaper than ERC 20 based platform.
