Is Cardano capable of surpassing Ethereum?

For example, UNIswap was able to enter the top 100 Coinmarketcap in just 1 month.

Cardano is very likely to overtake Ethereum but may have to overcome various obstacles that are difficult to overcome.

Cardano roadmap puts March release date for Goguen mainnet rollout. The release of Goguen will unlock the ability to create smart contracts and decentralized apps on Cardano. Then we may discuss whether it is capable of surpassing ETH.

Yes You are right everything can be happen. But It will take several years again for cardamo. I think cardano will not surpass Ethereum at the few years, because Ethereum is still the King of altcoin. It is really difficult mate.

Looking at the idea and technology behind Cardano, it is very obvious that Cardano can surpass Ethereum most especially in times like this when Ethereum has suffered a great downward movement in the past few months. One thing in crypto is that the success of a coin does not entirely depend on the idea, product or technology behind a coin. One of the strongest factors to consider when looking out for the success of a coin is how strong, powerful, healthy and supportive its community is.
Ethereum has got a strong, healthy and supportive community than Cardano, which will make it very difficult for Cardano to surpass it now on the market.

Cardano is very potential coin, but not so popular as Ethereum, So I think It is impossible . I don't think cardano capable of surpassing Ethereum. Ethereum is still the King of smart contract platform. It is really difficult.

I agree with you. Ethereum cannot change on its current position at rank #2 because of dominant performance over thousands of Altcoins. I guess the end of ETH will come if ever the team neglect necessary updates to sustain and maintain the popularity, population, and use case. There are a lot of people believe on ETH platform that make it more popular and adopted all over the world. Unique use case and platform develop ETH foundation to become stronger.

I have read many big brothers opinion here, I think everything can be happen at crypto currency. But We must see the progress of this coin. Ethereum is always maintaining it's position be number second and the King of Altcoin. I think Cardano is really difficult to surpass Ethereum.

According to my experience since 2017, going directly into the cryptocurrency market, this Cardano coin is like keeping a distance from Ethereum.
What I mean is that the Cardano coin is not able to get close to Ethereum, even for two steps it feels difficult for Cardano to stick to the capitalist of the Ethereum coin.
Either this was by chance or there was a scheme that was wanted, I don't know for sure, but this is evidence that has happened so far in the cryptocurrency market.

At the time this topic was created, Cardano was still just a small project, but Cardano has grown more and reached the top 10 on Coinmarketcap. Cardano has truly become a rival of Ethereum in 2020 & 2021. The dangerous thing is that Cardano allows Dapps on Ethereum to function properly on Cardano
