The current crypto market situation ethereum has many best competitors first the bank coin ripple indeed it's a sleeping giant and this is the best technology to border transactions this it's developing very fastly . Second EOS and TRON these coins are growing everyday and it's technologies are very better than ethereum.

Ripple is definitely a bank coin and Ripple is a centralized indication.
So it is appropriate for RIpple to get a lot of trust from the public when Ripple is present in cryptocurrency. That's my Opinion .

I think ethereum's best competitor for me is Neo, because both are good platforms in the future, and also many projects from ICO also use the ethereum base. so I think both are also better ways to make a profit.

In my opinion the best competitor for ETH now is Ripple since it has seized the second place of ETH and has stand in that position for quite a long time
