Before becoming professional traders, they were also amateur traders too. And in cryptocurrency trading, even if they are professional traders, they will definitely experience losing money here.
Predicting coin prices is not easy, even if it is done by professional traders.
it could be that they are more expert than us, but it is impossible for their predictions to always be correct.

That's right, just because someone is an expert in something doesn't mean they will always be right about everything related to that, so even if someone has a lot of expertise about the cryptocurrency market, their predictions wouldn't always be correct because the market is unpredictable, and many times, it moves in directions that weren't expected by anyone in the market.

The recent dip in Bitcoin's price is a big example of this. A lot of people got liquidated in the dip because they had longed Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies but it fell down and they all lost money, one trader even lost $1.1m during this.

Economics , Sociology & Politics / Re: Cost of living

There is one interesting little website called Numbeo that can be useful for comparing cost of living in different countries around the world.
You will see big difference in some countries and cities, but it would be cool if someone could ''fork'' Numbeo or make Bitnumbeo and make it work with bitcoin or sats units, instead of only standard fiat currencies.

Ekonomi / Re: Rönesans GYO (Halka Arz)
« Last post by trendcoin on Today at 08:26:46 PM »
rönesans ilk işlem gününde tavan gidiyor. millete 30 tane falan vermişler halka arzdan. ben hiç araştırmadan arkadaşımın "8 tane verir." lafı ile hareket edip 8 tane (2 hesaptan da) aldım. şu an ufaktan üzüldüm valla. kaç paket sigara parası gitti lan:)

Investors can feel satisfy if the coins show good progress. But if the coins have no progress, the investors may change their funds to other coins. However, it is important because investors may invite other people to join the investment. If it has bad progress, the investors may spread bad issues to the whole people. And this may kill the coins, then the coins may be delisted and disappear.

If the coin is a successful coin from the past and now it is not showing any progress then wait for its progress because top coins never make their investors disappointed but people lose the chance due to the dream of their quick earning.

People often alter their investment coins but it is necessary in that case if he has not chosen top coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum so altering your investment from less or no progressive coins to Bitcoin or Ethereum is an idea that suited well.

I think people should not invest in that coin the creator of which is not trusted so they will not need to change their coin or will never lose money. One should utilize his knowledge because every person has a brain and active mind which he can use for making better decisions.

Although, I won't deny that it would be a coup if you could suddenly start paying for subscriptions via Stripe using crypto.
I think I had Stripe account years ago, but I don't miss it at all.
There are plenty of payment cards that support cryptocurrency payments now, so even if Stripe someday adds support for stablecoins it would be anything revolutionary.
I am reading all the news with a big dose of reservation, until I have multiple confirmations, everyone wants only growing numbers and sensational news.

The first thing anyone who wants to interact with cryptocurrencies should do is to set up his own wallet. This is very basic, and this information can be found in basically any guide in the internet about buying bitcoin.

Exchanges should only be used, well, to exchange. You shouldn't hold your assets there, unless you are willing to sell them in very short term.

Regarding security, can you find free wallets and on which sites, enough to not be stolen during transactions, for example?

The most secure is always a hardware wallet. I would buy a trezor.

Id you are not using a hardware wallet, I would keep only small amounts

That being said, I would recommend Electrum desktop for bitcoin.

For altcoins, I use Exodus and Aqua (mobile, bitcoin and usdt)

Pues no, tampoco he ganado la tarjeta #14.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Anonymity - good or bad?
« Last post by Gladitorcomeback on Today at 08:10:25 PM »
I would say that a country that has to crack down on online anonymity in order to collect taxes of all things, has a very backwards judicial system.

Anyways, aliases are fundamentally necessary for a variety of reasons. First of all, once a website has your real data, they can do whatever they want with it. Mine it, sell it to criminals, etc.

Second, you're going to get mailing list spam from these people and they won't always let you unsubscribe.

Third, who says you must use your real name for signing up to stuff?

Well, it becomes necessary to use your real identity for signing up in places where KYC verification is a requirement because you can't use a fake identity in the beginning and then provide your original details when trying to verify yourself because that wouldn't be entertained. However, if it's a platform that doesn't require such things, take this forum as an example, you don't need to use your real identity or name in such places.

You are right that it is not advisable to provide the original information everywhere because untrustworthy people and platforms can misuse the information, so one needs to make sure that even if they are providing their original details, they are doing it only in places that are trustworthy.

However, even so, we also cannot depend on airdrops for our income, because airdrops are things that we are not sure whether we will get or not. It would be better for us to have a main job and just use airdrops as additional income for us.

However, this comes back to our personal decision, because I also see that some people only focus on airdrops and they can still fulfill their living needs. However, I suggest having a main job with a more certain income.

We cannot be dependent on anything for getting salary from crypto because regular jobs can give us regular salary but crypto has no surety about how long it will be profitable for us. We can think of Airdrops as just a side job and if they do not give us profit then we have not to be worried about it and this can only be possible if we are getting salary from another job and are mentally prepared for every situation in crypto.

One job is not enough therefore one should take help from Investment or anything else that can fulfil their dreams and help them in managing their duties and I think participating in Airdrops can be crucial in this concern.
