Why does anyone care about BTC ETF?

I'm no expert but why does everyone make such a big deal about something that many experts have warned would have a negative impact on the price? It's almost like people need the blessing of "big brother" to feel ok about something. This is supposed to be decentralized people, you want regulations then go invest in stocks.

Bitcoin is influenced by various policies and issues. this is important because we have seen some issues capable of dropping the price of bitcoin. and conversely, with positive news, bitcoin finds confidence and prices rise. Traders and investors need trust and comfort.

Not anymore, it mattered when we were battling with $6k, as it could potentially propped us up, but now we are near $3k it doesn't matter anymore. The long term technical analysis and fundamentals will play out the current and future price over an ETF announcement or otherwise. We are low enough to bounce back on our own now I believe.

I suppose crypto adopters should not care about ETF and negative news by 3rd party as we know that crypto is decentralize and most of this news are from a centralize body and they might have the tendency to slam crypto from growing bigger. However i guess that 3rd party news might be the fact that they want to protect more people from the scams happening in crypto.

They are so excited because of the aim to achieve the pump for bull and unfortunately the whole road are blocked , it might be special for btc to by accepted for etf but I did not see that as an opportunity for the pump.

That's because many are desperate now for bitcoin price to rise and they hope that the ETF will pump the market. That's how I see it.
